Here are some of the benefits of the re-valve job that was done my MotoXperts in Spanish Fork Utah.
300 XC-W
* Took care of the stink bug effect
* Has really good absorption of the “chatter” and small bumps/rocks
* Made the initial stroke more plush, but with a transition to the mid stroke that feels natural
* Gave better bottoming resistance - I feel like I can push the forks harder into "g-outs" and whoops
* Gives me confidence. That is the main thing with the job that was done. Very confidence inspiring.
* It is now the best balanced and best handling XC-W I’ve ever ridden.
CR250R
* This bike was really terrible for me with stock valving, the re-valve was the best money we spent on the bike.
* Made the bike much easier to get into the stroke and allow the suspension to start absorbing the rocks.
* Kept the front tire from giving me really harsh feedback through the rocky sections.
* Felt like it took some of the “weight” off the front wheel on this bike, so that it’s less front biased.

Just had my 15' 250sx suspension done by the motoXperts and what a difference that racetech stuff makes!! And I agree those guys there are great!
Thank you Brock! Glad you're loving the new set up!
Glade to see you starting to get into bike set up. Also to clarify what changes with rider weight is that after a point maybe 180 or 190 you also need a spring change and once springs are changed the suspension will need everything it needed stock but also heavier rebound dampening.
MotoXperts did a port/polish job on a 4t head for me 10 years ago. Top shelf.
I'm way outside the "Goldilocks Zone" at 270 lbs. I did buy a new rear spring for my KTM 300 XC W when I bought the bike and it did make a big difference. Should have bought new fork springs too, but I've been losing weight (intentionally, specifically for my riding...started at 294 lbs @ 6'3") and am planning a total suspension revamp once I get to my goal weight of 210 lbs. As a tall, heavy rider I have to do a lot to set a bike up right for me...taller bar risers, tall bar bend, tall seat, adventure bike pegs that move them down and to the rear 1/2" along with the aforementioned suspension mods. It's all fun for me though since I enjoy working on my bikes almost as much as riding them! Then again, I might be selling my KTM when I win the DBC Husky! Keep up the good work Kyle, love your vids!
Race tech gold valves make all the difference in the world! That and the correct springs for your weight.
Like ridding mine with blown seals no oil. Makes the Whoops really fun.
got my thermos from dirt bike channel a month ago...have used h ot coffee and green tea so far and its the BOMB.....$35 for that thermos is a bargain
I had kevin @motoxperts take care of my suspension on a motocross bike to make it tolerable for singletrack and desert, it took a bike that I was considering selling to a bike I enjoyed for a few years. Sam@dirtbike channel rode this bike last summer as we meet on the trail, when he returned it was the suspension that he commented on, he was very impressed by how well MotoXperts had dialed it in.
Colton Jensen it’s amazing how much different a properly set up suspension will do to a bike. It almost feels like it’s not even the same bike.
Yeah I seriously need to look into adjusting my yz125. When I got it 3 years ago I weighed 183 I now weigh 137...... sooo it feels a bit stiff in the woods now, but the bike feels like it gained 10hp rofl. I’m a rookie rider so I really need to ride some other bikes to see what I want out of the suspension
Backyard Boosters you want your suspension a bit softer where you will use all available travel. If it’s to stiff your arms are going to be toast and you will exert a lot of your energy just trying to hold on to the bike. I’m sure motoxperts will be more then happy to
Help you out if your in there area. No doubt give them a call.
I much prefer to listen to the bike then music on videos so i hope your not going that way, good luck with living the dream kyle dirt bike channel full timer .
Did you ever give your review on the kreft suspension you purchased awhile back?
Like the idea of moving the bike down in the front forks.
he actually said they moved the fork tubes down in the clamps which raises the bike and makes it more stable at higher speeds but can have a negative effect on the turning ability
So what did they do to the xc-w, just play with the valving or did they add parts beyond a GV? Can we get a list of things they did and RT parts added? I need to do something with my 300xc-w as the Xplor fork is not working for me. My love for KTM has taken a big hit and I need to fix that or kick orange to the curb.
On the KTM 300 do you now find the PDS suspension to be equal to the Linkage of the XC after the tuning it's received? Can you compare the 2?
Next bike would you go motoexperts or Kreft?
I really need revalving my CR125r 2005 because the fork is rough and really exhausting to ride in rough terrain. I do not ride MX, i only use it for enduro in low speed.
Could you please point me in the right direction for what valve I should use?
Racetech or Kreft ???? 2017 KTM 300 XC - Race Hare Scrambles and Trail Ride
Very cool
Does the ktm have spring suspension or are those air?
please make your graphics kit for bikes other than KTM. Yamaha fans are waiting for ya
Who makes the skid plate on the 300?
I feel like this is less of a "Racetech" review and more of a "fill in the blank" suspension tuner review. If you are doing it yourself, following Racetech's recommendations, that would be a better review. Also, am I the only one who feels that you should get great suspension out of the box on a top level premium bike?
Did the rear end of the KTM get lowered a little bit to take care of the stinkbug? I see some companies are doing that. thx!
for PDS shocks just set the rider sag at 115 vs. the owners manual at 110...pretty simple, then find ideal fork length in tubes and leave it.
the X-Trig adjuster for the rear shock and digital Sag Setter tool are the fastest and best things to have for quick (self) rider sag checks/adjusts....especially as tires wear down and w/tire pressure changes etc.
Just noticed Ktm’s brake line in behind ur Upper headlight plate in the top half and not infront of it..
95mm on the back shock will take the weight of the front wheel...
Why so little riding footage of the CR after all the money and time spent on it? ...Is it your step child? :)
cosmo copus he doesn’t like riding it
you said it. great customer service. best feature in a tuner. often you'll have to go back in a 2nd or 3rd time for perfection so a local guy who works with you is everything. sounds like a much nicer experience than dick's.
Who is Dick?

I made an installation video on my CRF230F. Made a HUGE difference.

i wash i had a dirtbike
Udicia Cook u can
how can i@@dangright9570
Udicia Cook work for some cash buy an okay used bike around $1500-2000 there’s pretty decent bikes in that price range, they may need a few things here and there but you can get something to start out with in that range.
i can buy stuff because i can't make mony@@backyardboosters9128
