AMAL 275 PRE MONOBLOC STRIPDOWN

This is a quick stripdown and examination of my W/NG carb to have a look at the after effects of running on E5 fuel for many years and then left standing for over a year with the float bowl drained and only a thin residue of castrol R remaining in the float chamber.

Excellent video! I have the same carb on my Zundapp. It will not idle unless the choke is fully engaged. The airscrew does nothing. Any thoughts?

Possibly the air jet is too small or blocked.

Yes just put a screw in the top to stop air and turbulance.
