cheers Bowen. i just got me a Simpsons in my living room so it's time to learn the rules, and this helped show me why i suck at pinball and will never amount to anything at it :) - 228M on 3 balls (ok 4 because of the bangback) is impressive stuff. i've not yet managed to get to Alien Invasion OR Secret Stash OR Mystery Spot OR Scratchy's Revenge OR Daredevil Mania OR Pretzel OR 5xSJ in Couch MB - so my progress towards SDMEWM is nothing if not consistent. You ROCK, dude!
So, I finally got the number one high score at our local pub. At some point balls were shooting out at me at a super fast rate for a super long time. The catch was, each flipper button was operating the opposite flipper so, it as really tough. What is that mode called and how the heck did it happen!?
Matthew Rivera is it just me or is the knocker in this game more "metallic" than other games? I'm used to a deep wooden "clunk" but when I played this last week I got a loud "clang" like something was broken!
@@scorinth Since Apollo 13 Stern chose to remove the knocker and replaced it with a loud sound instead. The option to put a real one in is still available
Heh, I see The Simpsons Pinbal Party everywhere I go in Los Angeles. Most of the machines, however, have at least a few things broken about them though. But still, I'm astonished at that 200 million score. Maybe it's because of the sorry state of those machines (underpowered flippers and broken garages make reaching the TV literally impossible), but I can rarely get over 10 million.
@@DavidKlausa Yeah, though over the years, most of these have vanished from their locations and not replaced with anything. I suspect most of these machines were owned by the same operator who never did any maintenance on them, then retired them when they weren't making any money anymore.
Hello Papa team, Can you please explain the rules of the Simpson heads being lit or not (Maggie, Lisa, Bart and so on, in the middle of the playfield). I have no clue when head lights are completed, all I know that it always starts with Maggie. Thanks.
Hey Bowen you should issue an open challenge on this game for the next tournament. The challenge is simple get to Super Duper Mega Extreme Wizard Mode on tournament settings.
This machine is set on competition mode, which removes random elements and replaces the awards with a set sequence. In normal settings, the garage award will be random.
this table seems very messy and full of modes that allow shots without reason which allows high scoring after the first few minutes, am I wrong? is it better when your right at the table? big simpsons fan that after seeing this video sees little reason to plug in a few coins if I saw in the wild.

I never knew Pinball machines had actual games %) I just mash the buttons and try not to sewer or whatever it is called. Could you remove the glass and block the Left and Right sewers? Like New England, I like to win. LOL
