I have the OP 5 and was ready to get the OP 11 when I saw the OP 12 was coming. So I will gladly wait for the OP 12 on global release on 1/23 in the US. Planning on getting it directly from OP and will pay it in full as I always do now days. It will be on Mint Mobile as well, as I always pay a year in advance. Thanks for this awesome video.

Good video bud waiting patiently for global release.using the op8 pro for the past few years and my screen has burn in defo time for upgrade .the only concern i have with op12 is the ip65 rating as my op8 pro is ip68 seems like a step backwards?
It's a step backwards for sure but you already have the experience. Did you ever feel the for ip68 for all these years? Personally I don't care about that ip65 is enough for me.

It's very easy you just ordered and it will arrive at your door without any customs or vat.
Seems that the periscope sensor handles color better than the main sensor. See 12:29
I think it has a software problem when you switch to the main sensor from any other sensor it's very washed out. If you directly launch the camera with the main sensor it's ok. OnePlus needs to address that issue

Global version has pre-installed all the necessary languages. Camera is very good maybe s23 ultra is better in video recording

Thanks for this video. I have also ordered Oneplus 12 Chinese Version with color OS. I heard you say that notifications disapear from the lockscreen and are nowhere to be found afterwards. I don't understand exactly what it means. Is it avbug or a feature?
I also hope that i can flash Oxygen OS in the future. Would you do a video if this option becomes available someday?

Already did a video(check my latest one) about switching to OxygenOS.
About notifications the problem is different. When you receive notification it's on your lockscreen and when you unlock the device it will disappear once locked it again. Notification still will be in notification panel but not in the lockscreen.

Sadly their update policy is very strange and different for every device and with HarmonyOS and EMUI it's even More complicated
When testing games please set the graphics to Max and also open multiple games in background to really the the capability of the chips
Graphics are set to Max as mentioned in the video. Multiple games is not a real life scenario and this is a review not a thermal test video 👍
The OnePlus 12 and realme gt 5 pro are limited to 4k30fps cuz the 4k60fps is an exclusive feature whice is only available on the oppo find x7 ultra(whice oppo is also the big brother kind of controlling OnePlus& realme) that's why realme&OnePlus has some restriction.
This is unacceptable and ridiculous at the same time if they think that's their biggest advantage mind blowing management 🤯
Maybe I will upgrade to this from my Oneplus 7 Pro I use since 4.5 years, which sadly does not recieve updates anymore and altough I changed battery two years ago I only get 4h screen on time which is annoying me. I am deciding between this and trying out iPhone 15 pro max because S24 Ultra is going to be too big and uncomfy for me

How does this compare to the OnePlus 11. Im strongly considering trading in my 11 for this when it launches globally for the camera usb display out and wireless charging. Do you think it is worth?

For sure the camera is better than the OnePlus 11, design wise they are identical and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is not a big jump, 8 gen 2 was already very good. If things like USB 3.2 and the good display are a trade off then go on. My personal opinion is the difference is not big and if you just want something new better try another brand otherwise you won't be thrilled 😉

The OnePlus 12 has very good battery life and I can say it's on par with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. To be honest my iPhone can't make these spectacular results which other CZcamsrs get.
Nubia z60 ultra for me this year. Cheaper bigger battery better camera no whole punch display

Important here is iphone 15 or 15 Pro? If you mean clean 15 then go for OnePlus 12 but iphone will always win in video recording 👍
I think the display brightness doesn't hit peak nittage like that. It's for small areas of the screen when watching HDR content in bright conditions. I think it's crappy for companies to advertise peak brightness like this but they all do it.
Agree with you, to be honest I already tried it and the iPhone still hits more nits for HDR CZcams content but my video was already 20min and no one will watch that. Obviously I was wrong 😔
@@SystemHacks nah man. The information is correct. The phone companies use peak brightness measurements for only specific scenarios. In normal real world use you'll never hit those numbers.

That's very personal but the OnePlus 12 has a better battery and of course is faster. In terms of camera it's hard to decide
videos at night don't really seem good though, kinda blurry even from the rear camera

Depends where you live, for example I'm in Bulgaria and here Pixel 8 miss 5g, volte, vowifi and half Google extra features otherwise I love Pixels but OnePlus 12 is blazing fast with good camera and battery life and if you play games Pixel is not the best choice

Me too that's why I just sell it. Pixels always have different screen calibration and hurt my eyes. But 99% of people won't notice that.

If you buy china version like mine it has native call recording by default if you buy Global version it's using Google dialer which has disabled call recorder

OnePlus 12 will kill it in terms of battery if it's important for you.

To be honest if you want the best camera for 4 years the OnePlus 12 is probably not your phone. In terms of battery, connection and call quality it's perfect.

i would rather have color os than oxygen os. i feel like oneplus gave up on europe so all their investments are going to be for color os. i dont think we will have much features added into oxygen os in the future. looks like a good phone but now google and samsung going for 7years updates which is crazy and oneplus with their lack of updates on oxygenos feels just not like a premium phone no matter how good the hardware is.
At least ColorOS is regularly updated and to be honest it's very good UI
