:3 15 hours ago. They're going to ban the Flipper Zero? Amazon and eBay banned sales in America, but it's not banned in America, where it's from. It's got ethical hacking. It's just easily accessible hacking to people, but there are other hacking devices Amazon and eBay do not ban, and you can make your own, too. They should not punish everyone for some misuse. That's like banning cyber security to fight hackers. Lol

Yeah kali is great and yes you can do everything using the software but you still need some types of hardware to go with it so your not completely correct right, also the covert part is hard on a mobile using kali on small screen so.... I take you dont have one, I have both and kali on laptop neededing a usb wifi for sniffing, then you don't happen to have ir, rfid, nfc, ibutton built in your kali, nope you would then need a proxmark3 an some other stuff so don't get your comment sorry.

I think it’s such a stupid move, an insane over reach (go figure, Canada has a history of it). As an American, I know nothing about Canadian law, but he does say “the import, use, and sale” (2:18), but fails to mention “possession of”. So, I wonder if Canadians who already own one will be “grandfathered in” in the sense they won’t be prosecuted for simply possessing one, so long as they don’t get caught using it (for nefarious reasons) or selling it. That being said, he could’ve just not said it and/or that might change in the finalization (if it gets there), but it is Canada, so they’ll probably just freeze the bank accounts of anyone who’s purchased one until those pesky now-criminals surrender their elite hacker tool Flipper to Trudeau in person…

I’m Canadian, living in Montreal. It’s true that car theft has been getting out of hand lately, especially in Toronto and Montreal where cars, mostly expensive and luxury vehicles, are quickly (and too easily) stolen with key fob cloning devices and other tech. It’s easier now, with the right technology, to start a car and drive off as most of them have keyless entry and engine start buttons. A colleague of mine had his Durango stolen that way from a mall parking lot. They eventually found it at the port, in a container ready to be put on a boat and shipped overseas. Many cars are shipped out everyday from Montreal to Africa and other places. CZcams abounds with surveillance videos, news reports and documentaries showing thieves stealing cars, it usually takes seconds and they’re not using Flipper Zeros, I can assure you that! Owners, law enforcement, and insurance companies are complaining, and governments, from city-level to provincial to federal are pressured to do something about this rampant problem. There was a summit this week to specifically address this issue, that’s where this video is from. I’m personally in favour of eradicating, or at least preventing car theft, of course. We all end up paying more for insurance because of it. Harsher penalties for thieves is one thing, but I think the onus is on the car manufacturers to make them harder steal.
The problem with the current federal government is that hey have a tendency of overreaching (remember the truckers convoy?) Many of us up here are fed up with the current administration. This makes me nervous for the Flipper Zero, but I’d be surprised if they do end up banning it or make it illegal to own. It’s not purpose-built for stealing anything. We’ll see. It makes wanna get other cool devices that might end up on a list, though.

This is actually a really smart move by the government, all the criminals who own one realizing it's now illegal will say "Shucks better hand this to the authorities" 😂

@@TalkingSasquach Reminds me how Australia wants to ban encryption, except encryption is literally just math... Its insane that world leaders think technology is fucking magic they can just "ban" or more likely their voter base does.
