- This week Morning Live has been zooming in on the executive and talking to some of the new ministers in the government of national unity (GNU). Today our guest is Solomon Malatsi, the new minister of Communication and Digital Technologies. There have been speculations about what should be matters of urgency to be tackled as priorities. Some of the expectations include the finalization of the SA's spectrum policy, creating a strong telecoms regulator, bringing solutions to the crisis at the South African Post Office (SAPO), and addressing the financial troubles of the SABC. Minister Solly Malatsi is here in studio this morning and he will respond to some of those.

Competent young black people, we needed to wait for the DA to see such competence in leadership positions. The ANC is shameful
The DA is proving that they are standing up for everyone black & white and everyone of colour 🤗WE ARE ONE...
AMEN🙏🙏
So....why is the DA not standing up for the people of Khayelitsha, Gugulethu, Fillippi, and Zinyoka..?
Excellent interview. Gives hope to an exciting future for the Department. Wishing the Minister everything of the best on his term.

Well done Solly you have explained very well
Proud of you Solly 👏
Great to have a young new face in the role.
He's a very smart Black Young South African that knows what he's talking about
Very intelligent young man and so respectful
Solly knows...... Izinto zakhe ... Excellent
I think it will help a help if we have apost office in every big town ship over people don't have to stand in long queues
Please give us access to Starlink.
I'm glad Sakina got him to rephrase his earlier assertion regarding how the government support the SABC. The truth is reality is even the 3 % from government is not even a cash injection... it is just a guarantor to ensure that SABC can get loan from Financial Institutions. It also helps to have an interviewer such as Sakina who knows about complex relationship that SABC faces with regard to other government partners such as SENTECH.
Congratulations to Solly Malatsi
All noatiinal sport back on national T V....rugby...cricket...soccor..netball...etc...
@sabc you forgot to talk about SITA
Data is expensive, please assist with that. We cannot do without it, for it has become an essential commodity like our daily bread.

Minister, ensure that Africans (Blacks) participate in the Communication and Digital Technlogies. Transformation must take place. Breakdown White monopolies. Opportunities must be shared.

Better ping for gamers to European servers, that's what we want😁
Too early to tell lets talk after 2 years solly.

😂😂😂😂😂@@user-fh3oc5ij3s
@@user-fh3oc5ij3sand he has achieved more than your whole useless family 😂
@@user-fh3oc5ij3s u are so ill-informed about the DA 😢
No! We don't want y'all to steal more money from us
Another black experiment for the owners of the D.evils Alliance?😂😂
😂une anger Sir
He a achieved more than you 😂
Please..... Learn to appreciate excellence... Don't critise just nje......
U seem controled by hate and is very ill-informed about the DA. ALL intelligent political leaders in the DA know that they represent the community trough their Party. And they therefore do not act as an individual. They are tru SAn Patriots who puts their Country 1st.
@@Sankishi2024I totally agree.
Unfortunately someone ppl are very negative and can't appreciate competence.
They feel its their duty to criticize all opposition parties. It's very sad indeed. 😢
