Garden hose quick connects are lifesavers. No fighting when you need to change it.
Agree! I have lost of little tweaks I still need to make to the van…one of these days!!
Ay Caramba! Sorry you had bad day, thankfully tomorrow is a new day! You got this.
Ah yes, So many crazy days when we were mobile! My wife and I would go for a "Margarita Lunch"! Find a Mexican place and get very large Margaritas and food! Yup Some days are like that.
Haha I’ll have my husband working with me this winter, I’m sure we’ll end up having to have a few of those days 😉
@@DetailWithJessCool! In the winter we had many of the “Margarita Lunch’s”.
Maybe use larger pipe clamps of course you know that the hose expands with pressure. I used to detail my self. I know the struggles.
You should use quick connect adapters for the the pressure washer so you don’t struggle in a scenario like these
This channel will be huge in no time! Thank you for awesome content!
I appreciate that! Thank you for enjoying it! Any content recommendations are always welcome 😉
Had an instant urge to go check my van when I read your title....Shes good 👍Nice & dry. You've probably already got some spare hose to keep on the van, just in case. Keep up the good work, love your videos and style of content.. Go smash it! 👊
😂 Glad to hear she’s dry 🙌🏻 Thanks so much!!
Watching your vids pushed me to start my Mobil business. Lol knowing your going through issues as much as I am makes me feel not so bad loool happy detailing!
Just know, you are never alone 😉 I definitely don’t share days like this to complain but just to be real about what it’s really like running this business. There’s a lot of great days, but like anything it’s know always rainbows and butterflies! Hope you’re having more great days than not-so-great!
Sorry ur air & water hose went bad on mobile pressure detailer van Jess but kept on going even small obstacles
Great to see your positive attitude when things go wrong. I would have been yelling. Glad the follow up details went well. Keep up the good work.
This was a bit funny to watch ~Your good at comedy. I can relate to that plumbers tape stuff ~ It will test your patience for sure. And you have good fashion sense. Oh yeah, be careful with that Totally Awesome stuff ~ It's really strong ( reminds me of oven cleaner by the way it makes you cough when using it )
You’ve spoken straight to my soul - comedy and fashion, you get the best subscriber award 🙌🏻😉
Keep your head up Jess you are a amazing detailer God bless you.
Quel courage.
Bravo à vous.
Ohhh no!!! Glad to see you power through it! Keep up the great work.
Thank you ☺️
Day in the life of mobile detailing sounds about like my experience a lot of times things breaking etc
I guess you figured out that QC’s are a must. There’s gonna be days like that but just hang in there and don’t quit. You’re doing great. Oh, btw, I wish I was detailing in 80 degree weather. Up here in Canada where I am we’re already seeing the beginning of winter with a friendly reminder of a little bit of snow and ice today. I will be dealing with those conditions until April.👊🏻👊🏻.
Haha yes! Which I knew, it’s just a matter of having the free time to re-do everything, ya know?! Uggg, kudos to you! This was from two weeks ago when we had a fluke warm day..and the it was 40°F the next day 🤪 Are you mobile in that weather?!
@@DetailWithJess no,the only mobile I do is just to go pick up the car and return it when done. The biggest downside is having to crank the thermostat up every time the door opens which can get annoying and expensive. Cars arrive covered in winter, making sure the water is drained every day because of freezing. These are just a few examples of handling the winter season in Canada when detailing. But like everything you get used to it.
@@pauladams7180 I totally hear that. Nothing about winter is easy!
That fly poop is called artillery fungus.
I am aware of artillery fungus, and I’m mot saying it’s not! But for some reason I can’t convince myself of it 😂 This vehicle was absolutely covered in flies a few days prior. Flies, especially on a cow farm, love white vehicles, and the Explorer, that was parked right next to it, had no flies and no spots….Not disagreeing with the artillery fungus, I’m just not convinced based upon living on a farm 🤣
What are you using for the UV protectant on the trim? VRP?
I go back and forth between 303 and VRP depending on the condition of the trim. On this vehicle I ended up using 303.
🤦♀THATS NOT BUG POOP!!!! It's TAR!!!!!! The runnig(cleaning) of those spots is caused by the orange oil in "LA’s Totally Awesome All Purpose Cleaner" breaking down the tar!
With a proper tar remover, you wold not have to agitate tar spots with a bug sponge, while destroying the top coat of the paint in the process! Do you file your nails, with a angle grinder?
Please educate yourself, on your craft & products........ Sorry!
I regret watching this. Much whine.
