I've always dreamt of being a director and writer of so many animated movies
Me too I recently wrote a comedy called Thomas and it's an adult cartoon about a man who is a barista at a coffee shop he's obnoxious dim witted and has obsessions on women of color despite being white he wants to be successful and not fail
For me the most difficult part is to actually make the thing, and do it, I have a great vision of directing my own story, but I don’t have the crew to actually make the animation for me (I love animation, but it’s very challenging in it’s time consumption part, for me personally), so, how do I do it? (Getting an animation studio that I will run with a crew)
Same question I'm finding, but after ten month you get any idea? Tell me if you get
Same goes with me, two years later the question stands 😅
I a want to be a director. Is my dream!!!!
Scary Monster and I want to become a animator, hopefully we’ll cross paths one day.
I want to be a director, screenwriter and producer 😐
@@iamcavon646 me too but for director
CAVON ! That’s too much jobs aha 😂 but good luck
@@ayoubmextress65 it’s not too much if you focus on one thing at a time, have help, and stay organized. Gotta break things down and have help there. Two or more creative minds are better than one
see you guys in hollywood
"If you wanna make movies, really make movies, you gotta come to LA." Well that sucks, I live in Idaho and I can't go out of state right now! :P
Anyway, after watching this video, I finally know how to describe my role on the animation projects I want to work on. I'm also an animation writer/director. I like being both because it's important that the story be told and shown exactly as I envisioned it. I know what I want and I'm good with communication. For years, I wondered what the right word for what I wanted to do was, producer, animator, cartoonist. Nope, this video hits it dead on. Animation writer and director. Thank you!
Sibernethy same here
Especially sucks when you live in another country like australia
YEAH Exactly that’s what I’ve been saying to the only chance we got is LA and it’s pissing me off there’s nothing or never has been anything here in San Francisco for me and DON’T say Pixar. Except maybe over in Berkeley there was one meet up but that’s about it they’re all from LA and I hate it. I have to get out of here it’s my only chance I got. I’ve been trying so hard for years. I can’t take it anymore and I don’t know how I’m still surviving..
What about New York?
@@T4eva dang you in San Francisco? that sucks. Well don’t worry bro. I know it may look rough rn, but things will get better for you. If only New York was an option. It used to be but messed up from all the rules it set for movie making so everyone went to Hollywood back in the early 20th century. Researched it and everything. Queens, NY could’ve been like Hollywood lol. Anyways, you’ll get out eventually. God will make a way. I’ll pray for you. Continue studying whatever you’re trying to do before you can get to the big leagues of LA. It could be overwhelming once you get there if you don’t have enough practice, which is why you should always practice. Stay safe my friend and be at peace for the time being. I believe in you😊
I have an Idea a whole series written and it’s good at my opinion but I’m just afraid it gets too boring by the time I can start on it my dream is being a screenwriter and producer
Same
Tip: Show it to people who may be interested, see their opinions before yours, if its good than yea! you got potential but then when they point out some errors or things they don't like try to figure out jhow to fix it make it better.
@@AriusWight thanks that’s really helpful and nice of you I actually gave up on that it had many flaws but took some idea plots of it and I’m now working on finishing writing a movie THANKS SO MUCH !.
where could i see any of your work(if you've ever published any) the industry has grasped my attention and im curious to see what others come up with.
Thank you a lot of good information
Not trying to be rude, but if you don't mind me asking, how did you go from having a degree in broadcasting art to getting hired at a big film school?
what is the best country to learn animation ?
everything is online. The rest is your dedication and ambition.
If you want to travel maybe USA (LA, New York, Atlanta), France has a good animation industry, maybe China or Japan.
@@centuryfiles9558 along China and Japan, China is more friendly for foreigners
damn I want to create a show and live in LA too bad I’m broke by LA standards 😞
This is so confusing I’m scared and stressed I’m literally only 17 I just want to create movies already
The bg music is absolutely unnecessary
How about you turn the music down, please.
That's not what we"re here for.... -_-
