All they need to do is promote existing heroes and give them alternate weapon types. Ogma being a hero with an axe? Oboro as a Basara with a scroll/tome. Heck they already did that with Hinoka, Reinhardt and Olwen.

This exactly, tbh they even can make it a new unit type (but nothing over the top) that isn't limited. Literally any character that would qualify would be one that isn't a legendary or mythic. Just name them "Re-Classed" units. Where its basically a character re-classed (or it can be something simple as color change. Like an Assassin-Matthew being a red-dagger). They all don't have to have busted prfs (or even prfs at all), though having prf skills can be a plus sometimes. The main take-away is that if you +10 a Re-Classed Unit then all units who share the same character as them will get +2 to all of there stats, and if you +10 the Re-Classed unit, you're able to take one skill from one other Unit who shares the same name (Just one, so if you wanted your +10 Re-Classed Swordmaster Shiro to get like ATK/DEF Finish 4 from your regular Shiro -this does not kill the original, this is just like Re:armed- your Re:Shiro would need ATK/DEF Finish 3 already on him). This symbolize how a unit will still retain their original skills when they change classes.

I think most of the people that quit aren't the big spenders, I may be mistaken but whales probably enjoy the game if they are spending fat stacks on it every month/spending fat stacks on a game every month makes it less easy to leave. I'm more surprised by the amount of downloads though

My most fav banner in feh is the fallen banners. I love fallen banners because I love the art and voicelines of characters, especially the glowing red eyes and purple aura surrounding them. I always spark on that banner once or twice every year a new one comes out :D
Fallen banners are always lit, I think the only time I ever hated a Fallen banner was the Fallen Edelgard banner. It was less that Edelgard was on it and more how broken she was at the time as a unit.
Small chance that it’ll happen, but I’m really hoping for Fallen Dedue, Fallen Miklan, Fallen Sumeragi, or Fallen Shez (to parallel last year’s Fallen Byleth). And I’m placing bets our GHB is gonna be Lloyd.

There's always something I want whether I like the character, the art, or need the skills for one of my units or a merge project, etc. That's a whole 3 months of zero spending orbs on banners. I could never
Even if say I pull 10 of a unit, not too common, but it does happen, unless it is a super favorite of mine, they always have a skill, or multiple skills that I want for my other units, so I still pretty much never merge them super high. Or if there is low availability of a skill, I'll still use a copy or a few of a unit I may be merging and building up.
The summon pool getting progressively worse every single month does not help with how much it costs to get what I want/need on each specific banner...
@@Cinderace836 And also fallen is one of my favs. Like I think the fallen heroes, both the banner units and the GHBs are my most high merged units and the ones I have consistently pulled most often with off-focus on various banners throughout the years. And each year we get a new fallen banner, those new units tend to get added to those hidden (what I like to call) Prf summoning bias rates. The only one I didn't have for the longest time was Fallen Gustaf, whom I just summoned on AHR 2024 lol. It is what it is. It's fitting since it's me 😂 I even have Fallen Female Byleth at +2, and that's after summoning her 3 times originally, using one for fodder of all 3 skills, and getting another 2 on random non-focus banners, using another for fodder again lol. I'm close to a +6 Fallen Female Kamui and just got her to +6 a few days ago! Celica is about the same there too.
And I never saw anyone hating on the banner before, but recently have been seeing lots of people say they hate the banner or that it's never been good. To each their own I suppose, and that's their opinion. But unless it's awful this time, bad art, bad skills, overloaded with attuned/rearmed/ascended, I will most likely spark. Chrom was really nice, but I do honestly hope they don't do another limited pool fallen hero again... It means I can't be surprised by them on a banner where they don't have focus TwT and I at least wanted to have a +5 Risen King Chrom, without dropping thousands of orbs.. I'll get it eventually tho, as I've got a couple more units I wanna give the skills/sword to. Bride Flavia mainly, and then Lapis and Kagetsu since they screwed them by locking them out of Prfs for Naga knows how long /:

@@CrobatmanIamthenightit’s probably cause Atlus co-owns the game, like how Square has some legal rights over Mallow and Geno, but not enough that they can be in non-Nintendo platforms. Nintendo owns the majority of them, but they still need Square’s permission to use them.
FEH can probably pad out their roster with originally non-playable characters too. I.E. the Ishtar treatment.
I just want Ashe in the game because I've been holding onto fodder for five years and I just want to finally use up all the stuff I saved "just in case Ashe wants it"
There are still characters they haven't used yet.
There is the Warriors Cast: Rowan, Lianna, Anna,Yelena, Darios, Oskar, and Velezark
And there is the Cipher Cast: Emma, Ranzal, Shade, Yuzu, (Appearing in Echoes DLC, strangely not votable in CYL) Alice, Poe, Valjean, Niamh
Still available for Feh used, just waiting for one day to be acknowledged by Feh since TMS and 3 Hopes characters made it into the game already.

@@paperluigi6132 Probably one of them will be a demote and have an inheritable weapon instead. I know Edward has Caladbolg, Leonardo has Lughnasadh, and Nolan has Tarvos. They were all given these personal weapons from Pelleas

Im glad that Heroes is on its way of going forever.
We all saw how good Engage's gameplay was, and i really think it was because of Heroes, if you're familiar with the weapon descriptions, you can very easily recognise the phrasing, and some of the mechanics and effects were previoulsly used in heroes.
They freely get to experiment all sorts of things on there, so they can go back to them and polish them up for the main games and end up with pretty good results, since its just a matter of polishing up instead of coming up with a whole new concept, both in terms of gameplay and story concepts and plot points.
So i feel like its gonna be a net positive for everything.
Totally agree with this take. For 3H they could always do post-TS banners too. Considering they stopped giving the acadamy versions their endcard titles, it's actually pretty likely they're gonna put those on new heroes banners eventually.

Unrelated but I didn't know Priam was already in feh, I've never seen of him nor his arts nor anyone using him, ever. What an odd thing to take away from this vid

Priam got introduced in Dec. 2021, and sadly most people are very mixed on his character simply based on his heritage.

It’s kind of shocking that we haven’t had a Tellius New Heroes beast banner since… I guess since the Gallia banner (unless the bird banner came out first, correct me if I’m wrong).
Also they COULD pad out the Valentia banners with unique characters like Lady Liprica, Ascended Rinea, the Duma Faithful from the final boss level, THE DAMN CIPHER UNITS (IS GIVE ME SHADE AND RANDALL PLEAAAAASE!!).
I’m kind of amazed that the Cypher units didn’t get in already. A bunch of world hoppers could’ve gotten introduced every few books (like Shade in the Death book, Emma during the Dreams book, Randall kind of gives Nithvallir, etc.)

Does anyone considerd having more Mythic Heros from Genealogy of the Holy War, Thracia 776, Binding Blade, and Blazing Blade?
I dont think the game will die out of a lack of new heroes. I think it will die thanks to the complexity creep. I have been playing for more than 3 years now and Im quite burn out trying to follow all the new skills and weapon descriptions and different stuff needed to keep in mind while playing.
Now, like myself, people playing for years were introduced to the new mechanics little by little. But a newer player has to take it all in one big, impossible to digest bite.
For example, a new player will engage in combat, see the forecast say that his unit will deal 20 damage, and after the hit connects see the actual damage being 10. We of course know thats thanks to dmg reduction. But a newer player will easily confuse that with a bug (since the game fails miserably at explaining most things cough, arena scoring), end up being frustrated and quitting.
As older players quit the game little by little newer players are faced with a massive wall of complexity to jump. So the game is in the same situation Japans birth rate is: people die of old age, babies are not born, population is dying...
The game keeps getting more complex on each new banner so at some point its gonna become unplayable (see LevinSety s video "Feh is becoming unplayable")

Honestly, they would probably never run out if they expanded into more alts for heroes that aren't top 4 most popular for their game (And double for avatars), still waiting for us to get something like a Villain Christmas, I demand literally just Fomortiis but with some colorful lights strung up on him!!! Sombron with floppy bunny ears!!! Ballroom Nemesis!!!

Mustafa was such a based inclusion. One of the best NPC bosses in FE history (besides maybe Berkut who ranks #1 in my book) who deserves more recognition.

Dozla isnt a very popular character, but im sure a Duo Dozla w/ L'arachel would do well.

On the topic of that echoes banner; last year with one 1 new unit. I was furious Deen wasn't on that banner. Such an easy addition imo. But I guess I'm just mad he isn't in yet (seasonals don't count)
At the same time, Mycen was the only character from Alm’s army that wasn’t in Heroes in any way at the time, so that was finally ripping off a band-aid.
We will never run out. Theres still so many per game, alt potential, and by the time we got part of that a new game will release. Ive been waiting for Edward for 7 years
Hard agree that they don't need to release new heroes aggressively, they could just repackage stuff they've already made at this point.
If I were them, I'd generate demand on demotes with event banners where focus 5* units come with a premium skill for that banner only. I'd pull for 5* Saizo if he came with assassin's strike or 5* Bartre if he came with brash assault 4.
Let's be real, FE has a HUGE amount of characters, both protagonists, allies AND villains! They even shown their willing to make NPC like the Gateguard from Three Houses/Hopes and even the Bandit Lord you fight at the end of your first dungeon from Echoes/Gaiden into a character. We still have Brandon Reed (the Reed Brother's from Blazing Blade Father and Nino's Stepfather) as well as a varient of him as a Morph (since they've already shown MORPH versions of the Three Fangs and he and two others were turned into Morphs AKA Blazing Blade's "Deadlords" by Nergal at the end!). We have OTHER minor and even MAJOR antagonists like say JAHN from Binding Blade! Since they seem focused on Engage right now (I laughed when people CLAIMED the Engage characters not coming in mass last year was do to Engage being bad when many of us SMARTER folk KNEW they had a SET SCHEDULE so could only promote SOME of Engage at the time and would get back to it later which we saw! But you know these types! Talk alot of shit, yet DISAPPEAR once people start not caring what they have to say anymore as their negative voices silent down! Oh don't worry Engage fans! These assholes were around during Three Houses, so no surprise they'll come back or already among you come the next FE entry! EVEN IF it's a remake of FE4! Haters going to hate! It's their pathetic way to stay relevant by hating the "new hyped thing!").
I think you'd best say if their running out of story ideas! They may start REPEATING story's as a "hey let's look back into that shall we" if they do run out of ideas

Crazy to think that they've added Shez but we still don't have Rowan or Liana (think I spelled her name right). Like I've figured by now at least one of them would at least be a tempest trial reward like Itsuki was.
I really do hope they bring back the Farfetched heroes banners back again. It's where I got my appreciation for Lute and Dorcas and I'd love to see that happen again.

No. Even excluding the stupid amount of seasonal alts and Ocs, and arcane, ascended, attuned nonsense, they still got several hundred units to put in. Maybe this with be a concern by year 15, but we’ll just start getting more banners with only 1 real new unit.

They should bring Older versions of Teen/Beginning of adulthood heroes and bring Opossite Sex versions of heroes. They can also go further and play with some twisted timelines like Fallens, but in contrary, where Villain heroes are Good guys.

I have so much to say about banners in this game today.
First of all, Fallen is a mistake and more often than not releases weird choices and it has no right to be a new hero banner instead of a seasonal banner. Cipher robbed us of what would've been Greil using a sword instead of an axe (he's still valentines only LMAO). I'll never not be miffed about losing sword Greil w/ the medallion to a cipher "what if" of Ike.
Second, we have so many characters left for FE4 and Tellius because not only are their rosters very big, but they have an aversion to giving us new characters instead of our 6th Micaiah or Ike or Elincia.
Third, yeah we'll probably not get a lot of these characters but there's nothing stopping them from just padding out the 3/4 star pool even more than the hellscape it already is, cause realistically most of the characters that aren't here yet would be demotes in the first place. If you're going to ignore someone's existence and concede to never putting them on a banner, at least inject a 3/4 star into the pool so the few that care can have their fun, too.
Fourth, despite coming to terms with it all I'm still waiting for Marty Party to come to FEH (and also literally every Radiant Dawn newcomer to get on a new hero banner like seriously those people need a Forging Bonds PLEASE)
1. I was the one idiot who went HAM trying for Emblem Marth so I see the point on "everyone will summon for rebranded lords"

3. If they must make one of the Sacred Stones characters an Attuned/Rearmed/Ascended character, please let it be Seth this time 😭😭😭
