I remember the Sea Fury having to ditch, but I also remember a Panam 747 making an emergency landing. No idea if it was the same year year. Can't remember the BA 747 having an emergency landing though 👍👍
My mate who was in the Irvine diving club actually retrieved the prop and had it a while in his garage before the club presented it to somewhere or someone. It felt strange touching it as I had been it the show and listened to the conversation with the tower and pilot on my airband radio
