Stop smoking. It’s not good for you all it does is kill brain cells and make you less productive. It may not seem like it’s doing anything to your health but trust me in the long run you’ll start to feel the damages of smoking. I suggest you to stop while you still have a chance to stop.
He didn't feel bad at alla (at least, that what he and the other players say). He was in the low profile part of a person and acted as a mentor for both superstars. Eddie was a classy, hustle, quiality professional with lots of sportsmanshim in him.
If Parker never got hurt, I feel like him and giannis could have coexisted. Maybe giannis doesn’t become the absolute monster we see today, but they both could have been all star caliber teammates through the 2010s
Jabari and Giannis pretty much blossomed in the same year! even after Jabari's first acl tear he was a monster! neither of them took a back seat until Jabri got injured for the second time!
And with that being said, I still wished the Bucks had got a chance to get Andrew Wiggins instead. I feel like that would have been the best option for both the Cavs and the Bucks
@@stharre80 wiggins could’ve helped the bucks win multiple playoff series in the past. I agree even today it would be in the bucks best interest to get an athletic wing that plays great defence
I knew it was the correct call. What I remember about Kobe in his first 3 years was that he was unique, highly determined, serious for a teenager when he played during the games, hungry, a lot to prove to other people and growing in self confidence even during clutch times when things were not going right. An 18 year old taking 4 shot attempts in Game 5 AT Utah in elimination game at the end of the 4th quarter AND overtime for the Lakers is unheard of to this day. What a confidence and resilience against all odds. Those 3 airballs= 5 NBA rings who didn't win Rookie of the year, never first team all rookie team and drafted #13 pick.
@@arizonaFIREent2004 Lakers team had problems for example, Payton not fitting well for the team, Malones knee injury, Kobes Sex assault case and Kobes and Shaq deteriotating relationship.
Every time I see them together, I think they brothers even before the video started, I looked at them beside each other like Kobe look like EJ so much.
@@yougotbaited2943 definitely a better shooter and overall player than Middleton. Jabari was a beast when healthy could easily get you 20 plus a night.

talent and creativity wise, it wasn't even close between jones and kobe. Eddie tends to settle for more 3 point shots but he wasn't efficient with it. Giannis was the only guy that tweeted to kobe for advice like what he should be working on or what his goal should be for the year. Kobe: MVP, Giannis gets MVP. Giannis asked what's next, Kobe: nba champ, Giannis .... 2021. He was the ONLY guy completed all the task kobe gave to him.
Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Kobe Bryant, Wilt Chamberlain, James Worthy, Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, Derek Fisher, George Milan, Shaquille O'Neal, Norm Nixon, Michael Cooper, Byron Scott are my favorite Lakers players. George Mikan.
Fun Fact: Eddie Jones was with the Lakers a year before their 2000 championship, and with the Heat a year before their 2006 championship and got signed back to the Heat a year afterwards in 2007. Talk about tough luck or possibly being a hindrance to a championship team. He was also replaced by Dwysne Wade on the Heat.
We were seeing the same thing with Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson, but Poole got traded. Now, we're definitely seeing it with Brandin Podziemski, with Klay now coming off the bench.
Eddie Jones was my favorite Laker in the 95-96 season when Magic came back for a short stint, I still wonder what could of been if Phil had come a year earlier to coach Nick Van Exel and Eddie Jones, and Elden Campbell, for sure we would've beaten the Spurs every year.
From the bay and Monte Ellis was my guy before we got steph he had back to back 22ppg seasons but the writing was on the wallet a great warrior in his own right
Kobe and Eddie on different levels, great player though. Jabari could have been great without injuries and having an offense run through him. Game like Melo.
I wish Eddie would had more success in his career. I think it wouldve been better if he was able to join Miami earlier. With Tim Hardaway, Alonzo Mourning, & i think Jamal Mashburn was on there too. Those 4 players wouldve gotten to Finals.
What he doesn’t mention is during the first half of the 1999 season Eddie Jones switched to small forward and still started while Kobe became the new starting shooting guard, still feel sad for Eddie, getting traded right before the Lakers became a dynasty again.
@@arizonaFIREentBut very few NBA players have at least 5 NBA rings, 2 Olympic gold medals as a 13th pick in the NBA draft while playing almost 20 years in only one NBA team. Most NBA players only last 3 years and they are gone with no silverware to show for.
Granger and jabari got hurt .. and they played well w pg and Giannis , and they played well relative to their experience at the time when the duos did play together.
David embraced TD by letting him LIVE with him for the summer before Tim's rookie season. Dave knew it was time so id replace this situation with Antoine Walker and Paul Pierce.
I think the Lakers with Jones and PRIME Shaq could have win ONE maximum two somehow, but I still didnt get why not to play them both, Jones was a better spot up shooter than kobe, and better defender than Rice who they got for him...I really liked Campbell as a Center/Power forward if they ran into the spurs... never mind sometimes I still think of a what if on that time.
Kobe may have been more athletic, but Eddie continue to start at the two guard until he was traded. The season Eddie was traded Kobe started at small forward. Even after all of the championships with Kobe as shooting guard I wish the Lakers would’ve kept Eddie and let Kobe continue to play the 3.
I have no idea why the NBA not only went all in with Lebum but stuck by after disappointments and disappointments. Curry was clearly much more liked and marketable for example
1) Eddie Jones was really good, but not an “all time great” caliber player. Once Kobe learned more of the pro game, it was understood he’d be an all time great. So they couldn’t keep both. In those cases you can’t pay 2 guys at the same position. 2) after Jabari’s 2nd injury he was never close to the same. So they logically moved to Giannis and getting other better players around him. 3) Robinson put up 70, so you cannot say Tim was a “better” scorer. It was that Robinson was also a better defender. It was just less stress on David as he got older to let Tim in a sense carry the torch. But they followed the “Twin Tower” blue print that was started by Ralph Sampson and Hakeem. Sampson became more of the scorer while Hakeem was more of the defender. But that didn’t mean Hakeem couldn’t score.
Im from Milwaukee and I really thought Jabari Parker was our guy Giannis was very unknown so I didn't know what to expect but Parker was 2nd overall in the 2014 draft I wish he had no injuries because before his second ACL tear him and Giannis was both averaging 20 points they was touching the league before the All Star break
Well to be fair Jabari Parker was supposed to be the face of Milwaukee until he had that major injury his rookie season that altered his career Giannis was unexpected
I really think the Lakers made mistakes how they used their assests after 98 Western conf, finals sweep...Campbell and Jones for Rice and Reid... Jones would have been great even as a 3rd option, they wasted Van Excel after an all-star season for Battie who they traded for Knight... worked out for them but damn not a single future pick nothing.
Tbh the Bucks should've drafted Embiid at 2 they just got another big man (Giannis started at SF tho) in the draft and he worked out why not double down and get him a teammate like that
David Robinson was the bridge of culture for the Spurs. Tim carried himself the same way, team was coached from the top down.
I love the way David Robinson handled Tim Duncan taking his spot

I feel bad for Eddie Jones. He had to do it twice. (Bryant and Wade)
He didn't feel bad at alla (at least, that what he and the other players say). He was in the low profile part of a person and acted as a mentor for both superstars. Eddie was a classy, hustle, quiality professional with lots of sportsmanshim in him.
Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry is another good example
He has covered that in another video so he did not include it here.
He literally mentioned that video in the beginning of the video
Paul George Danny Granger
@@Masedogg10k Yep Danny Granger if you asked a Pacer's fan would probably be considered a legend

Thanks to Duncan, the Admiral won a championship with him 😎😎😎

Reverse it thanks to David that Tim won
I’m glad someone mentions Eddie Jones. He was Kobe Bryant in the Lakers before Kobe Bryant.
If Parker never got hurt, I feel like him and giannis could have coexisted.

Jabari and Giannis pretty much blossomed in the same year! even after Jabari's first acl tear he was a monster! neither of them took a back seat until Jabri got injured for the second time!
Jabari left a lot to be desired defensively that’s why I always thought that wiggins was better he was averagin 24ppg before butler came to the team
And with that being said, I still wished the Bucks had got a chance to get Andrew Wiggins instead. I feel like that would have been the best option for both the Cavs and the Bucks

As a Lakers fan, I thought trading Jones was a disaster idea.
I was gladly proven wrong.
They still would of won 3 with Jones and could of won in 2004 because Eddie wouldn't of ballhogged like Kobe did vs Detroit
@@arizonaFIREentthey should have won five at the very minimum as it was.

At the time, Jones was fully developed and we didn’t see much of Kobe.
But after the trade, wow, Kobe just took off.
Kobe grew his afro because he looked too much like eddie jones.
Every time I see them together, I think they brothers even before the video started, I looked at them beside each other like Kobe look like EJ so much.
Kobe's career average would be 27 instead of 25 if he just had the freedom from the start that other upcoming stars had.
Thank you cosgrove🙏 needed this video
Duncan may be the better player coz he is younger but props to Robinson for being humble and gave Duncan the spotlight👍🏼👍🏼
What Kareem did to Magic.

Kobe had grown groupies at 15. Glad he was smart
Giannis dressed up like an IRS agent for the draft
Looking more forward to this video then all of all star weekend.
This video alone was better than all of the allstar weekend LOL
Nobody passed the torch with more grace and professionalism than David Robinson
Giannis’s work ethic is unmatched. Jabari stood no chance even without the unfortunate injuries.
Jabari no injuries would be a huge upgrade over Middleton.

I meant in terms of being the #1 guys. And I think he’s comparable to Middleton. Just a little more athletic and not a better shooter
