Hi right now I have RuiPro 8K HDMI2.1 cables. But when I set my Panasonic DP-UB820 4K Blu-ray player YCBCR to 4:4:4 it doesn't show up us HDR it just shows up as Dynamic Range Compression?? Is it my RuiPro cables?

It’s your TV. Use either 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 instead. Check out this video of mine

@@DavidSusiloUnscripted i don't understand why my TV would be doing that. Do you think that I could have something set wrong in my PANASONIC DP-UB820 4K Blu-ray player?

@hometheaterman1424 most TVs can’t do 4K/60 4:4:4. But don’t fret, the Panasonic is sending 4K/24 4:4:4 which is the way it’s supposed to be.

Have you heard of bullet train HDMI cables and if so, are they worth the money?

I have and they work BUT I have never used it for a long time so I don’t know about the life span of those cables. Whereas with Pixelgen, my oldest cables are 6 years and none of my cables and my clients’ cables every failed.
