    I have this exact toy hauler and though it is 1/2 ton tow capable. i.e I had a 2014 Silverado 1500 with max tow. I would highly recommend not hauling with a half ton. This thing sets up extremely high and is essentially a 31’ kite. Unless u are staying/traveling in flat lands I highly recommend a 3/4 pickup. Hauling this thing in the mountains and out west where straight line winds are very high, a half ton pickup will make u white knuckle the whole trip. RVing is supposed to be fun that includes the time it takes to get there keep your family safe have fun and peace of mind, only haul this thing with a 3/4 ton or higher. Thanks

    These things are so versatile. You can camp, tailgate, help your bother in law move, take the golf cart to get serviced, sleep relatives who visit the holidays and or use it as a man cave. The rear can haul, sleep, lounge, store or be turned into an office. If you race quads or bikes, you got room for the bikes,tools and parts. These things should sell themselves, there do much you can do with a toy hauler this size.

    I been asking jayco for little updates and I’m finally seeing these , such as a digital thermostat, and more lights, , I like to see them put a flush mount 2 burner cooktop either propane or the electric smooth surface cooktop. And I like to see a single sink not the double .. this toyhauler looks great and a great interview with the size dimensions is very important to know.

    2019 Forest River Wolf Pack 24PACK14+ How hard to get this without the porch and rails, rear bed and only right side couch?

      Not hard at all, though it would likely need to be a special order. Contact our team and we can get something like that handled for you. Basically we just need to provide a simple "leave this stuff out" instruction on the build order.
      The ramp patio is an option, so not including that is easy.
      The power lift bed and both benches are standard. I would actually recommend leaving them in the build order and simply removing them (super easy) and storing them somewhere until you're done with the RV as it will hurt your resale significantly without those items.

    Nice trailer but prefer the fiberglass siding and additional features lacking in the super lites. What's the word on the regular Octanes? Jayco's website only shows 2018 dealer stock only.

      Laminated "Octane" is gone. There is potential it will be replaced with a Talon travel trailer which makes far, far more sense. I have no concrete information on that. Big, Heavy, Expensive trailer toy haulers is an exceptionally small market so it's likely not a major priority for their planning team.

      @@JoshtheRVNerd good to know. Still a shame that the market's not there. Hopefully though it will live on as a Talon. Thanks!

    Why do toy hauler travel trailers hate ovens?

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  Před 4 lety

      I *think* it kind of stems from the perspective of limited storage space. By sacrificing an oven you're gaining an extra cabinet somewhere in a type of trailer that often is painfully lacking in overall storage capacity.

      I know! As soon as I see there is no oven, I lose interest.
      I don’t even use an oven too often but the capability is clutch. Especially if you don’t have all the electricity.
      Plus, if you just wanted some toast, that oven would do the trick.
      I think it’s so worth it to have one.
