My Jayco 222 SL has a thirty gallon gas station and a bug screen for the patio. We really like the trailer. We can haul our two Arctic Cat ATV’s as well. We love the patio option too.

The more I see these jayco toy haulers the more I think this is the type of trailer that my family would like. I have 3 small kids and their toys (and mine) so this looks like a good fit. We already tested a a couple off road tear drops with rooftop tents but they dont have a bathroom and we learned that a bath and shower is something we really want. Plus it was very cold for the kids in the rooftop tent in May at the Grand Canyon. I review alot of overlanding rigs and no one makes an off road or overlanding oriented model of toy hauler other than patriot campers out of Australia....and they are still just a tent on a toy trailer. If you had an off road/oberlanding model I'd love to film it at the overland expo in Flagstaff Arizona!!! I'll be there in May.
How much height is available in the cargo area between the floor and couches and then between the floor and and bed if the couches are stowed on the sides?
You did not show how the unit closes off for the night. Do you have to close the patio deck every night? Open air camping might be good if there were no bugs and only warm sunny weather!

Does the 2015‘s sofas work just like this one you demonstrated lowering and etc.?
Unfortunately, no. They are two different mechanisms as the sofas are different in the 2015 and 2020 models.
