Does Jayco ever contact its customers about their recommendations to improve the product? We have the 2020 Melbourne Prestige TP - we found the bathroom VERY SMALL, but found a way to improve set up.

i realy like melbourne prestige rp its perfect layout for me but i have some questions if you can answer....how about solar panels does it come with any solar panels or ready t install...how about agm batteries possible to exchange to lithium ion batteries later on?....do batteries charge while driving? ... do ac have heat pump ? thanks

Thank you for your interest in this Melbourne Class C product! In regard to your specific questions you asked about. The coach does not come with solar panels, but it is prepped to have them added as an aftermarket addition. You can exchange the batteries but we don’t have much input on how to do so or which ones. Again aftermarket and we refer to the experts in those respective products. The batteries do charge while driving, the alternator will charge the chassis battery first, once its fulfilled it will charge the house battery. It does not come equipped with a heat pump.

Can the Murphy bed be used without putting the slide out .

Unfortunately no, this RV has one full wall slide that must be all the way out in order for the bed to operate.

Another question...you say in the video towing capacity is 4200lbs, in reading the specs it says 5000lbs which is correct?

The Melbourne's towing capacity is roughly 4,200 lbs.

could you have the lady behind the camera do the vocal part of the video...also the count the word "ton" it's used a ton! turn the camera so the video is horizontal...come on y'all ... really in the market for one of these but this video shows nothing of storage compartments.or bedroom slide out.....just saying!

I dont see the RP available for sale anywhere near me. Are they out yet? Are yall planning on making a similar floorplan on a less expensive level? We are looking for a 24 foot, or smaller, RV with at least 6 seatbelts. The 22j, and the coachman prism 2300, are the only two we have found outside the RP. The RP plan would be perfect for us if it was on a similar price level as a redhawk.

Yes, there is an option for overhead storage in the Melbourne Prestige's front cap. The option is called the B-Plus Front Cap.
The Melbourne has an entertainment center option for its front cap.
