Glad my favorite TT channel is back with a new video! As usual, well worth the wait. Keep up the good work, and please try to up the posting frequency if possible!
Haha I’m glad to be back to making videos it’s a lot of fun and I have new ideas and new content to cover. I’m on a good path to improve my consistency as well so I will keep on it ☝️
I have no idea why I see only 9.5k subscribers, considering the quality of your videos :))
You really deserve a golden play button
Thank you. One day I guess I’ll keep upping the quality and keep it coming 😁
Table tennis is underpopulated and under-appreciated I guess.
8:01 is incredible; what a counter and finish. As a player from the Pacific Northwest, I've had the privilege of seeing Jiwei compete at quite a few tournaments. He's quite the powerhouse up here and rarely drops a game. Btw, good luck at Nationals!
Thanks yes he is a really great player, i can learn a lot from this experience and from him, thanks I’ll give it my best 👊
No one shares this kind of high level stuff. You are accumulating good karma. and tonnes of it. Thank you and good luck in all of your future matches.
Thank you! Haha I’ll take all the good karma I can get!
Thank you Seth. Your videos always give a deep insight into the world of strategy and tactics a dimension of the game which does not come cheap.
Thank you! That’s a big compliment I’m always trying to improve on my strategy and feel I still have much to learn but hopefully I can keep sharing everything I learn with you. :)
Really good reflection on the match. Like your tips at the end.
Seth, thanks very much for your content! The quality is top level. I always learn something new and different from your videos. Keep it up! I just encountered yesterday this trick, my opponent did it on me, and i felt for it. So its amazing how connected the universe is, just when this topic is now on my head - you release a video where you touch on it. Big thanks and best regards! Love you from Israel!
Thank you! 🙏 isnt that funny how that works! I have to start doing this more to my opponents that’s for sure! And not fall for it haha
These are the best TT videos on CZcams. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks much! I’m glad you think so! I’ll keep them coming 👍
Thank you very much for this great channel. Every time it has very interesting content. I am looking forward to the next video.
Thank you! I am working on a few new stuff coming soon!
Thanks a lot Seth!! Really helpful tip👍😊
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Damn. I watched 2 videos now and I really like your channel. Keep up the great work!
Thanks! I try to share my thoughts on the game maybe it can help others bounce ideas of their own.
i see you with the production quality seth!!! nice vid😎
Haha thanks yeah I’ve been studying how to improve the overall look of the videos going forwards I hope to keep improving but keep the same feeling of the channel and videos
doing great man keep it up
Your channel is a hidden gem. I learn a lot from your videos. One thing I want to ask is why do you play with 2 different hybrid rubbers?
Seth is the BesTH. Thank you for your wornderful videos!
Thanks!
Good hint at the end! Happened to me often and I was wondering, why the ball popped up
You were really close to winning that match I think. Just a few too many loose returns that allowed him to get in. Great video as always.
Yeah your right, I need to improve on my returns haha harder said than done but consistent practice should do the trick. Thanks for confidence :)
Finally a new video from you!
Thanks yeah we’re back!
@@PechPongTT My people and the songs of our ancestors will never forget the myths and the legends
@@PechPongTT have you thought about doing any physical therapy videos? I would love to see some info on how to make sure you dont get injured when you have a passion for playing table tennis, a lot
very good game ,thx sir
Amazing March both of you. Might have been worth mentioning that Jewie is the head coach at paddle palace
Yeah whoops yanno I had that in my notes but I forgot to mention that :/
Awesome tactic tip in the end, looking for more!! What’s your equipment right now?
hey during this match I was using stiga Dragon Grip and tibhars K3 on backhand.
Wow...
Am I wrong??? Every New vídeo I see you stronger and better. Congrats, its a motivation for me.
Thank you it’s hard to see yourself from third person I feel the much the same but from your perspective you can see the progress from my practice sessions thanks for the confidence boost nice to feel I’m heading the right direction!
thank you Seth!
would be better if you split the trick on side-pushing at the end to another clip, so it is easier to find, and more people can refer to it.
look forward to more tips!
yeah I think that would be a good clip for a future video as well thanks for the note!
That was a good match...😊
Thanks yes it was a good one ☝️
What a point!!! 0:01
It was a special one ☝️
@@PechPongTT that backhand he hit was a bullet ----->
one question, you use b
ooster?
Nice match and thanks for the commentary. From a Swedish perspective, two things stand out.
1. The long pushes must be punished.
2. 98% of all placement is in the halves? If you add the middle as a placement, stuff will change.
Thanks for the input! I do need to utilize the middle push more!
amazing level
Thank you, my opponent is an incredible player :)
🐐
What a battle 👏
Yeah it was a battle we both fought till the end
I would appreciate some tactical opinions on this 6:21 because i am often in the situation where my opponents receive my serves really bad. But i still use a lot of other serves in between so they dont get to used to the direct point serve. But often i feel like i am better of just using the one serve all the time until they get used to it and then switch to another one.
Yes so here’s my take on it, if I mix it in with other Serves they will not be able to adjust to it as quickly as they are constantly thinking you may do something else if I do the same serve over they can put all their mental focus on making a good receive and once they get the feeling they usually got it. So I mix them in quite a bit but not exclusively
can you try to explain the movement of your forehand serve? would help a lot
thats a tall order maybe I can go in depth in a future video
One of your chinese fans. Really like the channel and your reflection. Xia's style is really strange. He can rally really well but he always choose not to attack first. I guess that is beacuse of his height and wingspan and always wait for counter loop. But you still got chance, really close.
Hey thanks for your input yeah he does have a unique style doesn’t he, yes I was close to getting him! Next time I’ll have him!
point at 3:38 I just feel like you felt guilt for making a net twice so you just (subconciously) gave him the point 😄
Hahaha maybe that was the case
is thay blade a Viscaria?
In this match I used viscaria yes
Can you do a match review of your match with Krish Gandhi that happened today?
Yeah haha I can do that! It was a mental battle that’s for sure!
How to contact you privately?
I have an instagram as well as a facebook just look up my name
Dragon Grip or K3 which is better to you?
I like dragon grip for forehand it’s a harder faster rubber for backhand I like K3 it has a little more dwell a lower throw(normal throw, dragon grip has high throw) and it’s also softer and slower so it gives me control to block and not worry so much about lifting flips and loops off the end of the table
@@PechPongTT I'd like to try it out now, did you get max or 2.0 mm for your backhand?
@@PechPongTT All you have to do is test the Rakza Z and you can make a complete comparison of hybrid rubbers. 😁
Hi may I pls know your age ?
Hi I’m 26 years old !
Is he a provincial pro?
He played for a company in Japan a few years back. They have a league it’s interesting how it works. You can like play for Samsung or Subaru he did that
YOU REMIND ME OF FAN
That’s my favorite player to watch! He’s spectacular if I can play half as good as him it would be a full career!
Haha yea, I think it is ur build and strokes that look very similar to him. Also, U will definitely get there, I think u have the right mindset and motivation when it comes to games and practice, I aspire to think like u.
Thanks, haha I hope your right, thanks!
You could have win that one.
Yeah I missed those two serves in the 4th game and that killed my momentum. I had my chances that’s for sure also in the fifth game the point I was up 7 6 and we had a crazy rally that he won that would have been a good chance as well.
Yeah couple more observations
1) he had a lot of trouble against your bh flick but in the last game you didn't use it much
2) somehow your energy/focus seemed a bit low in the last few points. Wonder if you could have used a slightly longer wait time between points to think about tactics for the next one. Like the two serves at 7-9 down seemed easy to read and the third ball push at 8-9 that ended up popping up seemed like it could have been a flick instead.
So much easier to comment than play though lol.
You were amazing and the videos are incredible. Thank you thank you!!!
Saw you recently broke 2500. Way to go - rooting for uou
