I have a dog and a cat (no kids) and if one of them went missing I would move heaven and earth too! And if they were never found, the not knowing would kill me. Katie as a mother is reacting in the most abnormal way possible.
Too many so-called mothers choose a man, and therefore their own self interests, far above their children. It's disgusting and disturbing but it happens all the time and too many times the children suffer horrendous circumstances 💔
Chris got a restraining order against Nina when she slapped him and yet Chris finds no problem with using a belt on Sebastian who is half his weight and much smaller, as punishment! His father is in his life, so Chris had no business handing out punishment imo. CP is a bully and a narcissist! He turns my stomach! God Bless Sebastian… wherever he is! 💕
Actually Seth wasn't in his life and didn't care to approach the court early on in the custody case. So there's that. Seth has evidenced he cares more about getting back at Katie than he does protecting his son's privacy, which is abhorrent. I don't know a _single_ parent who has never spanked their child. Hundreds of millions of parents raised perfectly wonderful kids and (GASP!!!) they got at least one spanking. Spanking your children with your hands, a belt, a slipper, a newspaper, a paddle.... whether I agree with that form of discipline or not doesn't matter because I'm not the queen of the world and I don't get to come to your house and police your parenting. There is _zero_ evidence at this point that any of the parents, step or biological, had _anything_ to do with Sebastian's disappearance, but many of you mistake your dislike of someone for evidence of guilty apparently. That is surprising to me as most people interested in crime and/or psychology tend to learn a lot about it. So many people on channels like this appear to think their feelings = evidence and it's surprising to me. Most importantly, those of you who are parents or want to become parents, please stop putting your kids 2nd. Please stop making kids without being married/being in a domestic union with their parent. Stop dating men and women if you're divorced, and for god's SAKE please don't bring your date home and forcing your child to give up their home to a stranger. Parents you must do _better!_

911 is always called in an emergency like this. And to make the call from another city is ludicrous. 911 automatically brings up address etc. in each county.

I fail to recognize the comparison. The Anthony parents didn't have anything to do with the death of a child-most certainly not THEIR child. They were grandparents with a sociopathic, grossly enabled daughter, and the public were harassing them outside of their long-time family home while they were actively searching for the child (and hoping she'd be found). I disagree. Dogs would have picked up a scent around the house if he was put outside. There would be footprints all over the place. I believe he was carried from the home, to the car. That's what the evidence points to considering there's no evidence to suggest he left willingly, or he was forced outside without being carried.

As a mama of a 9 year old boy who is neurodivergent, I wanted to add onto when you mentioned CP not handling other strong people well. He wants weak people to be the boss. Well my 9 year old son who is a lot like Sebastion (from what I have heard), there are power struggles. They have strong opinions and needs. Their brain does not always catch on to others and their cues. My son has the moments( they mentioned screaming and biting) like Sebastion. He doesn't bite but he will start screaming and loudly crying. It doesn't really matter who is around either. It can be unsettling and hard on many around. But I have noticed it sets off people that power struggle more. Adults will power struggle with this kid. Not realizing or maybe they do that it is ridiculous to power struggle a kid. You are the adult. But CP wants all the power. So I could see it ending badly with his ways mixed in.
Has anyone considered that this was premeditated being planned in advance to appear spontaneous and providing the Proudfoot's time to prepare a story with the type of language and facial expressions to appear as relible reporting? I feel it was premeditated. I believe Chris was asked to not return to the house while CPS investigated. That was the final blow to his being the king of his castle. A plan was made. 😡😡

From my experience with wilderness SAR (EMT-I and mantracker), after about a week you start thinking body recovery (although depending on the circumstances people can and do survive longer). After 6wks it's definitely a body recovery mission. I agree with your assessment of this!!!
Unless they asked stuff like "Do you know where Sebastian is right now?" (answer: No....and she probably really does not know where he went); "When did you last see him" (answer: around 10pm), "Was he alive when you last saw him?" (answer: Yes.....and he probably was alive when she put him outside.)
They’re good at not answering direct questions (esp Chris). I wouldn’t be surprised if Katie did take and pass a lie detector test but was it for the military, Brinks job or Sebastion? If caught in a lie they could just say “well,you didn’t specify when or for what.”

My parrot flew away. I was hysterically running up and down streets, yelling, going to doors, tops of apartments, fire stations. I had fliers up in an hour and a group of people looking. I couldn’t imagine how I would act if it was my child. Mom is OFF!

The 911/ sheriff’s department call was for controlling the information and establishing an alibi. My parents had a medical emergency a couple of years ago and l was out of the state visiting my kids and my brother was also out state on a weekend vacation with his family about 3 hours away and he tried to call 911 to get an ambulance to my parents house but 911 wouldn’t provide that help because of the distance of counties and being out of state so that call from Chris would have to go through the sheriff’s department and Chris probably knew that but the need both Katie and and Chris had to call the sheriff while they were both on the line with LE to make the report was for the establishment of an alibi for Chris only.
I believe the reason why Chris got upset when asked when did he first get with Katie was because he was still married to Nina and cheating on Nina with Katie. He has likely withheld that information from Nina and now he knows if that is answered correctly he will be caught in a lie he has told Nina. Chris and Nina have an upcoming court date and Chris is going to be caught in this lie and he is under a microscope now and this makes Chris less likely to get his daughter which is also something Chris is blaming Katie for in regards to to not getting his daughter soon.
It's also interesting that he cancelled the court meeting after Sebastian disapeared.. How did he know in advance that Sebastion would still be missing when the meeting was due? It's like Gerry McCann planning a 100 days Maddie disappearance press event in advance.
Chris will probably never get his daughter now if that was his plan. The court mediator or child welfare involved don’t need a super valid reason if they believe the child could be in imminent danger.
I found it strange when mom was speaking about talking to stepdad on the phone and falling asleep. She said I was falling asleep so he told me to go ahead and put the dogs up for the night and go to bed. She's an adult, she knows what to do to get ready for bed, right? He has to give her directions from 3 hours away? Weird.

When asked about him having a restraining order on Seth his answer was defensive and he said he is not responsible for what happened before their divorce. Confusing because we know they were together long before The divorce it was even back when he was still with Nina. Question still remains why would he have a restraining order placed on Seth other than control?
LE needs to get all phone calls, texts, messages between Katie and Chris, Chris and his mother, Chris and every family member and the cell tower pings within the prior 48 hours of Sebastian’s disappearance and get all texts, all messages, all calls between Katie, Chris, and every member of Chris’s family for several months prior to all of this and get every cell tower ping for each use of their phones between each other for every call , text and message and it will put together missing pieces to their stories.

Sebastian also lived under the law of Chris at age 7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14 as well as 15. Prison. Mom was abusing her son by letting this man emotionally and physically abuse her son. I can tell you that I have failed my children. But when my autistic son disclosed being sexually abused by his very close male relative not related to me at age 6...I never dated again. I haven't dated for 12 years and I do not regret that. I only regret that I didn't know what was happening to my precious child. I truly believe these two are what happened to this poor child.

I think this is the closest to actually being on time for your lives, still late but improving! I really find this one heartbreaking, he could be anywhere, I would have had a breakdown if it were my child.
One point I have not heard mentioned, is how old the age of the accused former SA is. If they are adult, out of jail or anything, that person should be on the list of suspects. Seth said in an interview that he thinks Sebastian is with "someone he thinks is a friend". Of all the horrible options, this being one no one is talking about, and NONE of the parents brought up immediately, worries me.

As a mother of a child on the spectrum, this story hits close to home. Raising children isn’t easy, and even more challenges come when you have a child with special needs, BUT so much beauty comes from it too. My son has such an incredible mind, loving heart, and a genuine spirit about him. It breaks my heart hearing more and more come out about Sebastian’s traumas. Our children are so vulnerable. This just makes me sick. KP and CP hold all of the answers. I believe justice is coming.
I wonder if Chris was really on the phone for those 3 hours or if the phone call was made and the line left open as an excuse “ I couldn’t have done it because my phone was active in Mississippi”? If Sebastian walked away the dogs sure didn’t pick the scent up. ALSO the scratches on Chris’s right arm near where, if you’re choking someone in the crook of your arm and someone is trying to get your arm from around their neck
Thank you Peter for keeping Sébastiens name out there. I also really enjoyed the gal you had in your video today. Both of you brought very intelligent thoughts and concern. Precious Sébastien needs to be found. I hope he didn't suffer but it sounds like he was suffering for a long time under mkms care - and seems like his only haven was with his Father Seth. If my child went missing, there would be no sleeping, no eating, and I would be desperate every second of the day trying to find my child, in the moments not searching - I'd be on the floor crying like a baby
This is incredibly informative and thought provoking and logical. I enjoy this channel very much! My heart brakes for the child who does come home after an ordeal like this only to find out that the parents he lived with were silent for a week, didnt come looking, and everything that has come out since the disappearance. I dont know how parents like cp and kp could ever look this young man in the eye ever again. I realize this is an emotional response and this channel is more about logic, but thats what really gets me deep in my heart.
One thing I notice, people keep saying “especially in a special needs household” but the truth is that they didn’t acknowledge he was special needs or had any differences. They flat out thought of him as a naughty brat who was just purposely horrible and treated him as such.
@@jendee1260 oh they told everyone he had autism and the chromosome deletion but they didn’t understand him or support those differences. My resources are being autistic and raising autistic children. Social differences, not understanding body space or awareness, not blindly following rules we don’t understand or agree with, having sensory needs, not recognizing body cues, having meltdowns, etc are all ways we are different but we are not naughty or bad because of them. Over and over I have heard these parents talk about behavioralistic ways they tried to force him to comply - to be and act in a way that isn’t natural to him.
I noticed a very interesting statement made by Chris in the 3hr interview with the smiley storey channel at ~1:37:00 timestamp he’s responding to the interviewer asking why he’s always speaking on Katie’s behalf and states: “so if you notice there’s certain questions that you’re asking that I’m not saying anything about so as soon as you start talking about Sunday I don’t say nothing Saturday I don’t say nothing but anything after that from the 6 from midnight to 6 being on the phone with her prior to yeah I can I can answer those questions…” I find very curious that he states he can answer anything from midnight to 6 when he was supposedly notified at 6….
There is a case in Arizona, where an autistic boy around the same age told his family he was leaving and they would never see him again. Then he went outside and disappeared. Around a month later he was found in a canal, 11 miles away. The canal ran behind or near his house. He was in an area that was fenced off so he must have climbed the fence and fell in the water and drowned. Very sad. My point is that Sebastian could have left in the middle of the night, it is unlikely however, when dealing with autistic teenagers, it is not impossible. I agree the parents seem horrible, and come across as liars I agree. I just remember this case from Arizona when they say that 3 different dog handlers had hits in the same area as the construction site/pond.
As a mom who raised a son with Autism, ODD, I’m appalled by the way this was handled by mom before disappearance and after, what she allowed for persons in the home to treat him. We were stressed and tested many times we got Mental Health for us and him. I now work with children and families with Autism. If you see something SAY Something. This did not have to happen. Prayers for this sweet boy…. ❤❤❤

In one interview, CP gives "parenting advice" about cleaning the kids' room. After the kids tidy up, Chris goes in and throws everything that's still on the floor in a garbage bag. The kid then has to bring the garbage bag with his toys outside to the trash can. Its a sadistic ritual to humiliate the kid, not discipline. I think this is exactly what happened on the week-end in question and Sebastian sneaked out Sunday night, to retrieve his things from the trash, before the truck took it away Monday morning. He got locked out and maybe hurt himself while searching or hiding the toys or things escalated somehow, perhaps a fight. I am not sure whether Chris was present for the "cleaning" or if Katie acted on his behalf. Maybe this happened on Saturday and she tried to make amends on Sunday with the colossal popcorn.
Instead of Katie saying she heard a Thud . She made up that Lie she knew what was going on. JUST WHAT SAID IN MY OPINION. AND if she heard a THUD WHY DIDNT SHE GO CHECK ON HIM????😮
Mr. Hyatt/Peter, I am very grateful to see another video from you. And Lauren, too. Thank you. Fantastic information and ideas. That Sebastian was put in the garage fits with your theory and also fits with the neighbors not hearing anything, the door videos not picking up anything and the dogs not picking up a scent around Sebastian’s window or the front of the house.
How about check the phone lines prior to the night Sebastian went missing and see if three hour night time calls were a regular occurrence all the time stepdad was working away?
I think that the most that they could possibly find is surveillance camera footage of Chris not being at his RV in Memphis that night between 9PM and 6:30 AM. That's not enough to convict. Tennessee's highway and interstate cameras appear to be much to high up to see details and identify vehicles. It would have to be a commercial business camera - for instance if he stopped anywhere for fuel. I absolutely think that the 3 hour phone call and then Katie calling Chris at 6 AM was a method of fabricating an alibi. Just because two phones are connected for 3 hours doesn't mean anybody was speaking on them. The most logical place for him to park near the neighborhood would be at the old barns that used belong to the farm that Laurel Place subdivision is being constructed. Access to the barns is on Long Hollow Pike. Walking from there to the proudfoot home while taking a path through back yards and in between houses would only require crossing one street. I suspect that he might have carried Sebastian piggyback. Where would he go in between Hendersonville and Memphis? Do you think that the Hatchie Wildlife Refuge has any county owned solar cellular data cameras?
I was thinking about why Chris & Katie didn’t call 911 and didn’t do many appearances in the beginning. I think they were worried that if Sebastian was found by someone they couldn’t control (like buddies at the sheriff’s office), that what they did to Sebastian would come out (I happen to believe they put him out barefoot). Also, they didn’t wake up that Monday morning thinking their lives would go viral. Further, I think they believed he was nearby, hiding in a bush, because they figured he wouldn’t go far being barefoot in the cold. So, Chris called his buddies, thinking they’d come out, find him fast, and nobody would know what they did. I wonder if Chris even told the sheriff’s office not believe anything Sebastian says because he’s a liar, lies all the time (another reason not to call 911, knowing that would be recorded). This would also explain why they waited an hour to call Seth. If the buddies found Sebastian right away & kept quiet about it, then Seth would never know anything happened. But if Seth knew, he would have asked Sebastian about it after he’d been found and Chris & Katie could have none of that. And then as he wasn’t found right away, and it got out of their sphere of control, they got scared about what would happen to THEM if Sebastian was found and talked. It is as if they went from wanting the buddies to find him, to getting worried about being “in trouble” themselves once Sebastian was found and talked about what they did. I think K & C only started talking publicly when they were pretty sure, in their minds, that Sebastian would never come home.
Completely disagree that they put him outside or that he left that house on his own legs. My husband who taught autistic/asperger kids the same age agrees. NO way could he just disappear with NO trace for this amount of time. He would most likely try to get to his real dad, or enlist someone to help him contact dad. NO evidence of that. He would need food, shelter, etc. In all these weeks he has NEVER been seen by anyone, not on a camera, and no physical signs anywhere of where he went No. NOT possible. I believe that Chris was there and did kill him. Probably not premeditated. He got angry at Seth not obeying something, not doing what he was told fast enough, fighting back at abuse, and Chris did something that ended up killing Sebastian. Still murder, not an accident. Katie is complicit in some way, and certainly of covering it up and participating in constantly lying about what happened, along with Chris.
@petpilgrimgoose. I was diagnosed, in early childhood, with Asperger’s syndrome. Spectrum wise, I was selectively nonverbal, when I was a child, and, even still, need lots of structure. Had I been locked outside, when I was Sebastian’s age, I’d have been functionally paralysed. I would not have known what to do, and certainly wouldn’t have had the abilities to just disappear or formulate a plan to survive. I’d have had a major meltdown right where I was standing, and been unable to move. Six-plus weeks? I agree with your husband’s thoughts.
I was surprised, The Behavioral Panel described the mom and step dad as being honest for the most part. There's so much here that says otherwise to me.
My kids and I say I love you, have a good night every night at bedtime. That doesn't seem off to me, but I will keep watching. I like the way you follow the language... very interesting. It does seem off that mom did not beg for help from the public immediately.

I noticed the water references. In one interview the stepdad says, "he's a fish in the water". I think this also connects with the statements about the child not liking to be dirty. I would look at unnatural bodies of water, maintained and/or treated water or contained water.
The Proudfoots really give me Kate and Gerry McCann vibes, and I dont say that lightly. I think like Kate and Gerry, they accidentally killed their child and realised this could be very, very bad for them, and are attempting to orchestrate a phony missing person case. They may well get away with it too if Sebastian is not found. Remember when Kate also complained about Madeline and disparaged her and how much of a difficult child she was? The Proudfoots are doing much the same. They are very resentful of Sebastian in their language and they way they talk about him. Factor in the child is disabled which raises the risk of being murdered by the parents, they're stressed with all the extra care, and wrung out and at the end of their tether and snap. They take punishment too far.

I hope Sebastian never had thoughts of self harm. High functioning autistic kids are smart, they know they are different. They know other kids don’t want to be their friend etc. My nephew used to get depression over it and sometimes expressed suicidal ideation. It was incredibly sad.

I don't know a _single_ parent who has never spanked their child. Hundreds of millions of parents raised perfectly wonderful kids and (GASP!!!) they got at least one spanking. There is _zero_ evidence at this point that any of the parents, step or biological, had _anything_ to do with Sebastian's disappearance, but many of you mistake your dislike of someone for evidence of guilty apparently. That is surprising to me as most people interested in crime and/or psychology tend to learn a lot about it. So many people on channels like this appear to think their feelings = evidence and it's surprising to me.
Most importantly, those of you who are parents or want to become parents, please stop putting your kids 2nd. Please stop making kids without being married/being in a domestic union with their parent.

As a mama of a 9 year old boy who is neurodivergent, I wanted to add onto when you mentioned CP not handling other strong people well. He wants weak people to be the boss.
Well my 9 year old son who is a lot like Sebastion (from what I have heard), there are power struggles. They have strong opinions and needs. Their brain does not always catch on to others and their cues. My son has the moments( they mentioned screaming and biting) like Sebastion. He doesn't bite but he will start screaming and loudly crying. It doesn't really matter who is around either.
It can be unsettling and hard on many around. But I have noticed it sets off people that power struggle more.
Adults will power struggle with this kid. Not realizing or maybe they do that it is ridiculous to power struggle a kid. You are the adult.

From my experience with wilderness SAR (EMT-I and mantracker), after about a week you start thinking body recovery (although depending on the circumstances people can and do survive longer). After 6wks it's definitely a body recovery mission.

The 911/ sheriff’s department call was for controlling the information and establishing an alibi. My parents had a medical emergency a couple of years ago and l was out of the state visiting my kids and my brother was also out state on a weekend vacation with his family about 3 hours away and he tried to call 911 to get an ambulance to my parents house but 911 wouldn’t provide that help because of the distance of counties and being out of state so that call from Chris would have to go through the sheriff’s department and Chris probably knew that but the need both Katie and and Chris had to call the sheriff while they were both on the line with LE to make the report was for the establishment of an alibi for Chris only.

I believe the reason why Chris got upset when asked when did he first get with Katie was because he was still married to Nina and cheating on Nina with Katie. He has likely withheld that information from Nina and now he knows if that is answered correctly he will be caught in a lie he has told Nina. Chris and Nina have an upcoming court date and Chris is going to be caught in this lie and he is under a microscope now and this makes Chris less likely to get his daughter which is also something Chris is blaming Katie for in regards to to not getting his daughter soon.

She said I was falling asleep so he told me to go ahead and put the dogs up for the night and go to bed. She's an adult, she knows what to do to get ready for bed, right? He has to give her directions from 3 hours away? Weird.
Most people with dogs let them out for the toilet before bed. Especially if they have been out all day and the dogs shut indoors .

When asked about him having a restraining order on Seth his answer was defensive and he said he is not responsible for what happened before their divorce. Confusing because we know they were together long before The divorce it was even back when he was still with Nina. Question still remains why would he have a restraining order placed on Seth other than control?
LE needs to get all phone calls, texts, messages between Katie and Chris, Chris and his mother, Chris and every family member and the cell tower pings within the prior 48 hours of Sebastian’s disappearance and get all texts, all messages, all calls between Katie, Chris, and every member of Chris’s family for several months prior to all of this and get every cell tower ping for each use of their phones between each other for every call , text and message and it will put together missing pieces to their stories.
It takes a search warrant which requires some valid evidence to obtain from the judge.
That's typically their first line of order. It's pretty standard investigative practice.

I can tell you that I have failed my children. But when my autistic son disclosed being sexually abused by his very close male relative not related to me at age 6...I never dated again. I haven't dated for 12 years and I do not regret that. I only regret that I didn't know what was happening to my precious child. I truly believe these two are what happened to this poor child.

I think this is the closest to actually being on time for your lives, still late but improving! I really find this one heartbreaking, he could be anywhere, I would have had a breakdown if it were my child.

One point I have not heard mentioned, is how old the age of the accused former SA is. If they are adult, out of jail or anything, that person should be on the list of suspects. Seth said in an interview that he thinks Sebastian is with "someone he thinks is a friend". Of all the horrible options, this being one no one is talking about, and NONE of the parents brought up immediately, worries me.

As a mother of a child on the spectrum, this story hits close to home. Raising children isn’t easy, and even more challenges come when you have a child with special needs, BUT so much beauty comes from it too. My son has such an incredible mind, loving heart, and a genuine spirit about him. It breaks my heart hearing more and more come out about Sebastian’s traumas. Our children are so vulnerable. This just makes me sick. KP and CP hold all of the answers. I believe justice is coming.

Precious Sébastien needs to be found. I hope he didn't suffer but it sounds like he was suffering for a long time under mkms care - and seems like his only haven was with his Father Seth.
If my child went missing, there would be no sleeping, no eating, and I would be desperate every second of the day trying to find my child, in the moments not searching - I'd be on the floor crying like a baby

My heart brakes for the child who does come home after an ordeal like this only to find out that the parents he lived with were silent for a week, didnt come looking, and everything that has come out since the disappearance. I dont know how parents like cp and kp could ever look this young man in the eye ever again. I realize this is an emotional response and this channel is more about logic, but thats what really gets me deep in my heart.
One thing I notice, people keep saying “especially in a special needs household” but the truth is that they didn’t acknowledge he was special needs or had any differences. They flat out thought of him as a naughty brat who was just purposely horrible and treated him as such.

My resources are being autistic and raising autistic children.
Social differences, not understanding body space or awareness, not blindly following rules we don’t understand or agree with, having sensory needs, not recognizing body cues, having meltdowns, etc are all ways we are different but we are not naughty or bad because of them.
Over and over I have heard these parents talk about behavioralistic ways they tried to force him to comply - to be and act in a way that isn’t natural to him.

I noticed a very interesting statement made by Chris in the 3hr interview with the smiley storey channel at ~1:37:00 timestamp he’s responding to the interviewer asking why he’s always speaking on Katie’s behalf and states:
“so if you notice there’s certain questions that you’re asking that I’m not saying anything about so as soon as you start talking about Sunday I don’t say nothing Saturday I don’t say nothing but anything after that from the 6 from midnight to 6 being on the phone with her prior to yeah I can I can answer those questions…”
I find very curious that he states he can answer anything from midnight to 6 when he was supposedly notified at 6….

There is a case in Arizona, where an autistic boy around the same age told his family he was leaving and they would never see him again. Then he went outside and disappeared. Around a month later he was found in a canal, 11 miles away. The canal ran behind or near his house. He was in an area that was fenced off so he must have climbed the fence and fell in the water and drowned. Very sad. My point is that Sebastian could have left in the middle of the night, it is unlikely however, when dealing with autistic teenagers, it is not impossible. I agree the parents seem horrible, and come across as liars I agree. I just remember this case from Arizona when they say that 3 different dog handlers had hits in the same area as the construction site/pond.
He didnt put shoes or jacket on. Seth said he wouldnt leave without shoes because a past experience with a fire ant hill.
As a mom who raised a son with Autism, ODD, I’m appalled by the way this was handled by mom before disappearance and after, what she allowed for persons in the home to treat him. We were stressed and tested many times we got Mental Health for us and him. I now work with children and families with Autism. If you see something SAY Something. This did not have to happen. Prayers for this sweet boy…. ❤❤❤

In one interview, CP gives "parenting advice" about cleaning the kids' room. After the kids tidy up, Chris goes in and throws everything that's still on the floor in a garbage bag. The kid then has to bring the garbage bag with his toys outside to the trash can. Its a sadistic ritual to humiliate the kid, not discipline.
I think this is exactly what happened on the week-end in question and Sebastian sneaked out Sunday night, to retrieve his things from the trash, before the truck took it away Monday morning. He got locked out and maybe hurt himself while searching or hiding the toys or things escalated somehow, perhaps a fight.
I am not sure whether Chris was present for the "cleaning" or if Katie acted on his behalf. Maybe this happened on Saturday and she tried to make amends on Sunday with the colossal popcorn.

How about check the phone lines prior to the night Sebastian went missing and see if three hour night time calls were a regular occurrence all the time stepdad was working away?
I Don’t Believe Chris was away! Nope
I think that the most that they could possibly find is surveillance camera footage of Chris not being at his RV in Memphis that night between 9PM and 6:30 AM. That's not enough to convict. Tennessee's highway and interstate cameras appear to be much to high up to see details and identify vehicles. It would have to be a commercial business camera - for instance if he stopped anywhere for fuel. I absolutely think that the 3 hour phone call and then Katie calling Chris at 6 AM was a method of fabricating an alibi. Just because two phones are connected for 3 hours doesn't mean anybody was speaking on them. The most logical place for him to park near the neighborhood would be at the old barns that used belong to the farm that Laurel Place subdivision is being constructed. Access to the barns is on Long Hollow Pike. Walking from there to the proudfoot home while taking a path through back yards and in between houses would only require crossing one street. I suspect that he might have carried Sebastian piggyback. Where would he go in between Hendersonville and Memphis? Do you think that the Hatchie Wildlife Refuge has any county owned solar cellular data cameras?

I was thinking about why Chris & Katie didn’t call 911 and didn’t do many appearances in the beginning. I think they were worried that if Sebastian was found by someone they couldn’t control (like buddies at the sheriff’s office), that what they did to Sebastian would come out (I happen to believe they put him out barefoot). Also, they didn’t wake up that Monday morning thinking their lives would go viral. Further, I think they believed he was nearby, hiding in a bush, because they figured he wouldn’t go far being barefoot in the cold. So, Chris called his buddies, thinking they’d come out, find him fast, and nobody would know what they did. I wonder if Chris even told the sheriff’s office not believe anything Sebastian says because he’s a liar, lies all the time (another reason not to call 911, knowing that would be recorded). This would also explain why they waited an hour to call Seth. If the buddies found Sebastian right away & kept quiet about it, then Seth would never know anything happened. But if Seth knew, he would have asked Sebastian about it after he’d been found and Chris & Katie could have none of that.
And then as he wasn’t found right away, and it got out of their sphere of control, they got scared about what would happen to THEM if Sebastian was found and talked. It is as if they went from wanting the buddies to find him, to getting worried about being “in trouble” themselves once Sebastian was found and talked about what they did. I think K & C only started talking publicly when they were pretty sure, in their minds, that Sebastian would never come home.
Did you see the bite marks on Chris? I def think the thud was an altercation ending badly.

Completely disagree that they put him outside or that he left that house on his own legs. My husband who taught autistic/asperger kids the same age agrees. NO way could he just disappear with NO trace for this amount of time. He would most likely try to get to his real dad, or enlist someone to help him contact dad. NO evidence of that. He would need food, shelter, etc. In all these weeks he has NEVER been seen by anyone, not on a camera, and no physical signs anywhere of where he went No. NOT possible. I believe that Chris was there and did kill him. Probably not premeditated. He got angry at Seth not obeying something, not doing what he was told fast enough, fighting back at abuse, and Chris did something that ended up killing Sebastian. Still murder, not an accident. Katie is complicit in some way, and certainly of covering it up and participating in constantly lying about what happened, along with Chris.
@petpilgrimgoose. I was diagnosed, in early childhood, with Asperger’s syndrome. Spectrum wise, I was selectively nonverbal, when I was a child, and, even still, need lots of structure.
Had I been locked outside, when I was Sebastian’s age, I’d have been functionally paralysed.
I would not have known what to do, and certainly wouldn’t have had the abilities to just disappear or formulate a plan to survive.
I’d have had a major meltdown right where I was standing, and been unable to move.
Six-plus weeks?

I noticed the water references. In one interview the stepdad says, "he's a fish in the water". I think this also connects with the statements about the child not liking to be dirty. I would look at unnatural bodies of water, maintained and/or treated water or contained water.
The Proudfoots really give me Kate and Gerry McCann vibes, and I dont say that lightly. I think like Kate and Gerry, they accidentally killed their child and realised this could be very, very bad for them, and are attempting to orchestrate a phony missing person case. They may well get away with it too if Sebastian is not found.
Remember when Kate also complained about Madeline and disparaged her and how much of a difficult child she was? The Proudfoots are doing much the same. They are very resentful of Sebastian in their language and they way they talk about him. Factor in the child is disabled which raises the risk of being murdered by the parents, they're stressed with all the extra care, and wrung out and at the end of their tether and snap. They take punishment too far.

I hope Sebastian never had thoughts of self harm. High functioning autistic kids are smart, they know they are different. They know other kids don’t want to be their friend etc. My nephew used to get depression over it and sometimes expressed suicidal ideation. It was incredibly sad.
