    There's NO disconnect between Sebastian and his real father. Sebastian is supposed to go live with Dad at the end of the school year, Dad has been wanting this and says its what he's been dreaming of for so long. He gave up his life in California and relocated to Tennessee only to be close to Sebastian after Mom moved there. Dad is a deputy sheriff, he has been helping with the search everyday, and he has more info on search dog scents than has been released. Dad isn't allowed to participate in investigation because he's from another jurisdiction, but he's doing everything that they're allowing him to in order to bring his son home.

    I noticed repeated use of “comb/combing” in the mother’s language and wondered if it is leakage. Also, I’d be more concerned that my son didn’t have his shoes rather than his meds. Always a red flag when a child goes missing without shoes, he might have been carried out rather than ran away.

    Thank you for speaking out about Sebastian. My daughter has high-functioning autism. In addition to the specific traits that other commenters have mentioned, there is also the overall vulnerability. My daughter’s level of common sense and judgment is well below what one would expect for someone of her age and intelligence. She can’t fend for herself if she’s lost. A lot of the anti home schooling comments were specifically about people in troublesome custody battles and parents who were already being investigated by Child Protection Authority. It would make it more difficult for one parent to go awol with the child and for obvious reasons with CPA. Smart parents that homeschool in an invested community are obviously not a problem and if I had to school a child in the USA I would definitely homeschool them.

    The Behavior Panel's 'analysis' of The McCanns was inaccurate because none of the panel members were able to be objective about the case. Greg had experienced the devastation of having a child of his die and he referenced his own experience of losing a child in his CZcams analysis of The McCanns, thus his analysis was subjective, not objective. I believe Greg was psychologically too vulnerable to do anything other than very strongly identify and empathise with the McCanns, to see them as blameless as he saw himself in the loss of his own child, and he made assumptions about their experience of loss as being just like his own. So Gregg didn't see the McCanns but saw himself and his own grief and produced a highly flawed analysis as a result. The remaining panel members fell in line and colluded with Greg, either consciously or unconsciously, as his views were given greater status as he had lost a child and to challenge or disagree would have risked too much conflict. It's a theory, I can't think why else they would all have got it so hopelessly wrong ...

      They may have been told to tow the official line. They would likely have been sued by the McCanns if they had said otherwise. The McCanns themselves said they use Madeline's Fund for legal fees to sue people who push the them-being-guilty narrative, thus generating more income.

      I've been frustrated a few times because you can see a clear narrative. I watched for a real analysis, not to have somebody blow smoke up my azz.
      I tried to watch Jennifer Soto's analysis (RIP Madeline) and they became so delusional over "the parrot" which is actually a robotic pet food dispenser. I had to click off after they were all yapping thinking it was a real bird and saying it was repeating what it heard, I couldn't take them seriously after that.

    • @alienblackgoo_gle
      @alienblackgoo_gle Před 3 měsíci

      I think the behavior panel were warned not to push narrative of the parents being guilty, either by murder or neglect. The McCanns themselves admitted that they use the money from Madeline's Fund to generate more money by suing those who push that narrative.

    The way she posits: I don't know why he walked out the door - is a neat trick to establish that he did, but covered in something else, namely the unknown reason. It's the same trick parents use when they ask their toddler: Do you want carrots or broccoli? It takes a while for the kid to catch on that there is a third possibility, even when the parents don't offer it.

    • @hiddenhand6973

      What is the third possibility? Neither?
      Your example doesn't make sense.🤔
      Perhaps, it is because I was the toddler that didn't fall for the ultimatum- like, approach & neither did my own toddlers.
      When I didn't like both, I wouldn't choose either one.😃😂
      You used 'or' so there really isn't more than two vegetable choices, yet, you imply that there is another possibility. Did you omit that there were already peas on the table? Or, are you saying that the other possibility is to refuse both?
      That's manipulation at its' roots.
      No wonder children grow up to be liars and manipulators.🙄
      Anyhoot: this woman may be assuming that he walked out the door because she has no other explanation or evidence of anything more.
      I wouldn't call that a trick. I'd call it discernment.🤔

      I didn't mesh with the example given because it is illogical & deceptive in its' own right & especially, manipulative regarding children.
      As for the original subject of the comment, a simple analysis of the mothers' statement would have sufficed.
      For example:
      "I don't know why he walked out the door".
      Analysis: I think she does know why, how & when, he walked out the door because she has given no evidence that supports & qualifies her statement, that he, in fact, walked out the door.
      She hasn't stated that the door was unlocked. She installs security systems as a profession, yet, she has no security on her front door while sleeping? She has non functioning cameras, lights, motion detectors, meanwhile, all the tools of her trade are at her disposal?
      These things are credible reasons for suspecting that her statement is veiled in deception.
      I don't find the mother to be some master at manipulation. A bad liar, yes. An intelligent manipulator practicing trickery, by use of known or/& unknown, vegetable choices......no.🤣😅🤣😅🤣😅🤣
      If the mother were innocent, that statement could easily be an assumption on her part and nothing more.
      I don't believe her, but, unlike the original commenter, I add qualifying reasons for that & not an example of early childhood manipulation tactics practiced by adults with children, resulting in the child being lead by example, to lie, deceive & fool ppl into doing what they want.
      Say what you mean and mean what you say.
      So, yes, strange, logically thinking folks, such as myself, will respond with an interrogative analysis of someone's motives for playing word games, instead of, saying what one means & meaning what one says.
      Especially, when that same person states this kind of exampled practices. I question the commenter more than their subject, at this point.🤣😅🤣😅🤣😅🤣

I love the careful way you present these topics without using graphic and unnecessary words when it comes to crimes involving children which are so hard to listen to. I also love what you had to say about homeschoolers, it is so frustrating to hear these crime stories that involve children who were abused and neglected and supposedly "homeschooled". I don't think any of those cases were actually homeschooled children, that's just a lie those criminal parents were using to keep them at home and hidden. • @Do-U-Know-me00
    @Do-U-Know-me00 Před 3 měsíci +15

    Actually, autistic children very often LIKE and demand, rules and routines. They thrive on it, because they can't tolerate flexibility in their lives, as most people live. THEY can be, and often ARE very regimented. To have something off the routine to happen, can throw them into quite the tantrum. Typical people can cope with making adjustments in their day because something comes up, very few Autistic people, can. Of course, mot all people are the same, but having an Autistic child, training/education on the subject, and working with them...this is what I've seen most of the time.

    • @alesiap.6062
      @alesiap.6062 Před 3 měsíci +2

      Rigidity is not good for any child. Autistic or not. All children thrive when they are raised with boundaries, direction and a routine. But you apply those things with love and care toward your child, not an iron fist and a raised voice. I'm sorry, but I do not believe the Step Dad Parents that way. I think, as he stated, he is extremely black and white, and it is his way or the highway. It has also been stated that the Step Dad has made derogatory comments about Sebastion to other ppl. And has referred to Sebastion as the word that begins with the letter R. Autistic children are not the word that begins with R at all. In fact they have high iq's. It just shows that the Step Dad does not have any understanding of what Autism is, and doesn't care to learn. He comes off to me as a bully. And he did so from jump. The very 1st interview. He thought talking about how strict and authoritarian he is, was going to impress people. He was boasting and puffing his chest out like he's the big man. People like that are never kind and caring. They feed off of dominating people who can't fight back. I just feel that homelife was in deterioration, as well as their marriage. And I believe Step Dad threatened to leave and divorce the Mother etc, and used Sebastion as his reason why. God only knows what was happening to Sebastion inside that home. I pray he was not enduring physical abuse. It may not have crossed to that level yet. Maybe more mental and emotional abuse. But I feel there was an issue on Sunday night, and I don't know if Sebastion was harmed or not. Or if he overheard his Mother and Step Dad talking on the phone and there were hurtful things said about him, and it led him to leave the home upset or something. I think it is something along those lines though. And that is heartbreaking if it is so. I just continue to pray Sebastion is found and he is alive and ok. His Dad needs him. He loves him so much. I hope he gets Sebastion home safe and sound. Miracles do happen. Man what a wonderful miracle it will be if he is found alive. Until it's shown to be otherwise, there is still hope. 🙏🙏🙏

      So true, to me the Mother was under the step dads spell - disciplinated, controlling, manipulating - and the way she talks about her son isn't from a loving mum, but a desperate Mum to look like a good mum. To shame him after he goes missing for me is a smoking gun that she isn't grieving like a normal person would - she may have done something in fury, possibly a dangerous punishment which may have been put him outside and he died @@alesiap.6062

Many people argue that Dahmer was being truthful and showed some regret and remorse in those interviews. I saw the mom and stepfather's second interview and something definitely seems off with the stepdad. To me it would seem that the stepfather knows more than he's letting on. Also his priorities don't seem right at all. He says "You’re not in trouble, that door’s unlocked and waiting for you to come home. Your puppies miss you, your family misses you, I miss you, just come home". His priority is being in trouble, "that door" is strange terminology. Surely it's "our door" or even "the door"? The stepfather puts himself at the bottom of the list of who's missing Sebastian. When addressing Sebastian he says "your" a lot and not "we miss you" or "*the* puppies miss you" etc. Distancing language? Keep up the good work Peter!

      It's not you. Peter's analyses are fantastic to listen to when he speaks on a case in an uninterrupted presentation. But when he does the question and answer part it is very difficult to follow for three reasons: He doesn't read aloud the question or comment he is addressing, he jumps around to different cases assuming we all know each case that he references, and of those cases he doesn't clearly state his conclusion of a particular element.
      Maybe Peter thinks we don't want him repeating himself and/or we all know what he means without him saying it (AGAIN!). But we don't all know so repetition or a quick thing from him like "ok folks, that means to me ______". would be great. But I just get out of him what I can because it's all so fascinating.
      I read and reread his book and I watch and rewatch all of his youtube presentations. Peter Hyatt is the most fascinating person in the world to me and that is not an exaggeration.

      @@folksin42 I too find his insights incredibly fascinating. Maybe he's autistic too, a little bit at least (I was diagnozed), because I too assume everyone knows pretty much all of my premises when making an argument, and that everyone can hear my thoughts telepathically. Now I'm going to compare myself to Uncle A, which I find myself doing a lot, but the ideosynchratic bits, not the racist, genocidal bits. Well, those too. No just kidding, just the weird bits when he thinks everyone can hear what he's thinking: After the Fall of Stalingrad, at the top level conference with all the generals, on the point of why Paulus didn't commit suicide, which Uncle A was really keen for him to do, he goes: "What about hot chicks?" (I'm paraphrazing here of course) and then goes on a long rant in which he mentions a number of women/girls who did themselves in, without mentioning their names and giving really obscure references. Whenever the brass wanted to get him back on track, he always reverted to taking about the beautiful ladies, so the former must have thought he was going off on a tangent but because it was Uncle A they probably thought it wise not to intervene too much.

    Puberty can be a turning point with autistic boys and their behaviors often become more than a parent can handle. I've dealt with some very challenging situations in residential care, luckily we have several staff on shift as we sometimes have to intervene with approved physical interventions/restraints until calm returns, at times we required police assistance. You would be amazed at the incredible strength of a skinny teenager. I am not suggesting Sebastian was in this category just providing a bit of an overview concerning the challenges that present when boys become young men with behavioral issues.
    Edit to clarify. Physical does not involve violence when I speak of a physical restraint, we have specialists come in and design and train us in a maneuver and to approve we are doing it precisely and correctly. This particular location is called specialized services, there are lock down units and cameras. This is a much higher level of care then that of the other homes at my agency.

So my male cousins were diagnosed but I was just the "painfully shy" and "difficult" and cold and detatched, girl. I went through hell in Primary school with a physically abusive teacher I had for 3 years who beat me up at age 7 for passing the IQ test,( the 7 plus, that British kids all took at 7 and 11 years old) with the best score in the class (as number sequences come easier to me). Her reason was "because you did it deliberately to embarrass me, you never work in class!". Hideous woman ruined my school years, thankfully I'm auto didactic so it wasnt anything I couldnt catch up on, but she had me terrified every day for 3 years. I think there is more autism now but its partly because girls mask it better and for the reasons I already gave.

His real dad said he would not leave without shoes really struck me. My autistic clients, some, only remove their shoes for bed and they can be very particular about clothing choices as many have sensory issues, it can be so rigid that staff actually refer to specific individuals "uniforn" when training new staff ie do not purchase short sleeves or no sleeved shirts, this kind of material, colors, textures etc. Some don't care but some are very rigid in their preferences.

I do help successfully in many cases like this with the police although I am semi retired now yet you make some very good valid points . My visions saw Sebastian asleep in a car/truck with the step father and was dropped off without his glasses into a heavily wooded area and the route where the dad was going to work and had stopped off when it was light hrs (not darkness) a long way from home. I saw Sebastian under branches pulled over him (like a camp made of branches and nearby a river to the right running down a low sloped hill.. there is an empty cabin in a dark colour over to the far left (which maybe only open in summer) I felt he was alive possibly drugged yet not sure now if he is alive. Today I am being prompted to mention his glasses because this will become important. It may well be he was put there without his glasses so he could not see his way out and left alive. The horses need to do ground search.

      Also there's no scent from dogs anywhere outside the house, if he left out the front door ( back door has couch in front of it) wouldn't there be a scent? 😳 Also, I think Mom said she slept on couch, if that's the case wouldn't she had heard Sebastian going out the front door because back door had couch in front of it? Also when Sebastian came up missing early in case Mom described clothing to be black shirt, black shirt and black glasses. Now, it's black shirt with print on it ( Minecraft) black pants with white stripe on side. Don't know if it makes any difference or not. 😊

      When my husband works out of town we talk for hours. It’s perfectly normal in a good marriage. You miss each other and want to share your day, and the mom mentioned what a good day they had. Shopping and dinner with family I believe. It’s easy to talk that long. My husband and I once ran up a $2000 phone bill when he did a month long job in Canada. He’s company split the bill because they knew it was hard for us to be apart. And they we’re grateful he took the job. No one else wanted to go out of the country. So I understand. When you marry your best friends you want to spend time with them and when they need to work out of town the phone is the best next thing to being together. The mom was so completely beside herself and her husband was trying to be strong and positive. I think also he hated seeing his wife so upset. And was trying to make sense of it all, they just want him to come home. I am praying 🙏🏻 he’s found safe.

    I'm back again, and have been mulling. I have two theories - thinking about how we know so many cases begin from a loss of control....Theory1: s-dad already losing control of his other kids and now Sebastian is moving to his Father's. Theory2: Seeing the "backpage" type site that s-dad follows on FB, maybe Mom is the one losing control, of Sebastian to his Father, and her Husband/marriage.

    No Shoes On = it's a bad sign, he is likely dead, his body disposed of before authorities informed.
    No one runs away from home barefoot, no one goes to the bus station/train station/the Mall/a restaurant barefoot.
    If you see someone in town barefoot you'd be concerned for them, you'd wonder.... were they in trouble/having a psychotic event/in need of help.

      Exactly, and it was also only 30 degrees there that night. Mom said nothing about a coat, gloves, hat. The lack of normal nurturing behavior in her words is what gives her away for me. And of course the snide little chips at Sebastion over and over again.

    Question: Do you as a statement analyst find yourself dissecting conversations in your own interpersonal relationships or find people hesitant to come to you with issues or questions, OR does it make for better relationships? I realize it’s a great warning tool, but can it be a detriment in daily life relations?

      Is it easy for you, when meeting people or acquaintances, to pick up on a person’s speech pattern, that lets you know they may have a substance abuse problem? Thank you! I find your analysis so thought provoking!
