Thanks for this, seriously considering WP Vivid Pro and MainWP at the moment. I wondered how you worked this into client contracts, do you include within Care Plans or Hosting Services, etc? Need to look into storage of backups too, was considering Google Drive free option for storage and wondered what your opinion was on that option. Cheers,

What is your plugins/themes updates routine through MainWP? Do you just do it normally through 'updates' tab? In this case, does WPVivid still take a back-up before updates are triggered?
Nope, it doesn't. Just tried it and looking for a workaround for that.

I'm not really that familiar with UpDraftPlus to be honest.
What I can say is that I've bought my own lifetime license for WP Vivid Backup Pro and use it as part of my website and client website management process.
I used Updraft Plus Pro for a few years now, together with a staging plugin. Both licenses are about to expire soon, so I thought I should have a look into Vivid after I had seen Pauls first video. They offer a free 14 days trial where the staging is included, which is not in the basic plan btw. But that is the option that sold me. When it comes to backup, restore and migrate there is not a lot difference. Upstream offers the possibility to backup to different destinations at the same time, Vivid doesn't. But that isn't a dealbreaker for me. You can easily just do a manual backup to another destination before you start working, if you want to be sure. I never had issues with Dropbox, so I don't mind, and hopefully someday there will be the option for multiple destinations. But not having to pay and work with 2 different plugins to backup and stage was the reason for me to go with the Freelancer plan of Vivid Pro.
Watching the video right now, Watched your previous video for free version but I'm not able to link Dropbox and Google Drive either, saying unable to connect. Some Proxy error and I don't have anything like that. And Wpvivid website is not working, could you please help, if possible?

Is it possible can I can resort websites from wpmain with the help of wpvivid pro because when I click on restore from wpmain I land in to my clients website. Hey there! looking and looking, but I cant find a backup plugin which keeps your woocommerce orders, to make my website redundant :o, cant lose orders when doing a rollback, that would be terrible. Any idea, recommendation, link?

This plugin is buggy, tried several remote storage and non is working. Keeps on giving me errors. It only works if I save it to local backup. Sigh. I am using the pro version.
I've not experienced any issues using a range of remote storage options.
I'd suggest shooting their tech support a message to get some dedicated help on the problems. 👍
