That's because of 2 reasons: 1. A native speaker will have natural accent rather than a forced one compared to non-native who would have the influence of other languages/accents from one's home country. A natural accent would always be consistent, smooth and easy to understand.
      2. Jhanvi's accent has a lot of British touch. That is what makes her sound different from the tutor who is American by birth. One may be more used to American accent because of the western influence on media/Movies/ott etc.

How to get a good accent:
Step 1: be young(5 or younger)
Step 2: watch videos in target accent
    Step 3: forget native accent
Step 4: forget your native language
Step 5: sound like foreign person
    Now you have become me

The tutor is right. She is pronunciation "Thailand" wrong. Even when she does pronounce "Thailand", the way she does "Thai" sound it seems faking it trying to overdo it to show off. The tutor who's accent is American, he's sounding more natural to British accent than her. Anushkha sharma sound much natural than her. Watch Anushka Sharma doing British accent once on CZcams and you will get to know. I'm not biased towards or against anyone. I'm just stating what my ears have felt being unbiased.
