I've been ruined by that infamous segment. The instant Christian said, "everybody knows that you grow up without a father figure", my brain automatically said, "but your father's dead" even though it made no sense in this context, lol.
Christian Cage deserves way more credit than he gets. He was held back for years, there was a time where we thought he would never be able to wrestle again and some internet fans disrespected him upon his AEW debut. Yet he's still delivering pure gold both in the ring and on the mic and he's by far the best heel in wrestling! Christian Cage deserves a run as the AEW World Champion real soon and it woule be a crime if he never gets it. He more than deserves for his name to forever be cemented on the list of AEW World Champions. He's truly one of the best to ever lace up a pair of boots. 🐐

When he first came to aew and they were doing nothing with him with his outwork everybody thing, I was really worried. But unlike most of the other roster who seems to be okay with being idle collecting the money, it seems he reinvented himself again, and it's been really good stuff.
Adam using the same line that Christian told him months before "Go F*ck Yourself" is poetic justice and is going to forever be one of the highlights of Adam's career.

I’ll never forget back in 2016-17 I started missing Christian and kept hoping he would return to the ring one day. The fact that he’s doing his best work right now it’s amazing and I pray he doesn’t retire anytime soon and hopefully he gets a world title run before he officially hangs up the boots.
Christian Cage totally deserves an AEW World Title run while at the very top of his game. He's the best heel in wrestling. So happy that him and Copeland are wrestling again after being forced out for all those years.
I'm grateful to watch Edge and Christian in 2023 after watching them for the past 25+years.

He is the best heel aside from Paul Heyman. He might be better after tonight. Not all time but right now currently. I watch him before anyone, including LA Knight who I am loving these days. He is ten times the heel Roman is.
I like that Christian's promo feels like a dark mirror version of the promo Adam cut on Christian in the first week, where instead of feeling genuine and from the heart, it felt so slimy and manipulative....like a parent perhaps, guilting their child into doing something. Just the small subtle details are where it's at
I was sorta hoping Adam wouldn't say anything except Go F yourself as perfect symmetry, without any of the other stuff. Still effective though
