  • A look at how expensive the Ducati Desert X really is to buy, run and maintain.
It doesn't seem to be that exorbitant when it comes to pricing or servicing, but I just can't digest the cost of the accessories. You can take a look for yourself here: www.ducati.com/ww/en/accessor...
If you want to see more Desert X content from me, you can take a look at this playlist: • Ducati Desert X
I hope you enjoyed this Desert X series. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments below and I will try to answer them to the best of my abilities.
    Have a nice day.
    Cheers

For 30k km on a big bike , it would take
    Nearly 7-9 years.
The spares are insanely expensive, it feels like the charge is for brand premium not for what we get in return,
Maybe considering Africa twin would be much logical if someone has such plans of getting one,

Italian pricing - Bikes or Cars, is very high in case of the popular brands, these guys just do not want to sell in large numbers.

All bike bike brands have doorstep service options for buyers in remote locations. There are of course the added costs of the technician travelling to your location. Ducati Kolkata usually sends a technician to my city once every few months to service all the Ducati bikes in this region. The costs get split between multiple customers and you get the service at your doorstep.

With all due respect sir, what makes you think someone who can afford a 21 lakhs motorcycle cant do the simple math of downpayment & emis at 9% rate. May be a teenager sitting at home doing nothing with no financial means as such can definitely built a dream out of it .. of owning one of those bikes say five or ten years down the line. So yaaa.. Great Job of selling dreams ❤

Isliye kisi ki help hi nahi karni chahiye ese log turant ajate hai 😭
21 lakh on a motorcycle 🏍️ is a big deal for even those people who have the money (if they have worked hard for it) figuring out the financial outlay is a big help for people comparing different value propositions at that price point given that there are so many options in the 15-25 lakh range for superbikes and Advs.

Things which YOU THINK are lot of money are not the ONLY THINGS with lot of money...
You are trying to justify any damn things as normal with your limited understanding Just because YOU can get that...
Same way people justify buying Ferrari & Lamborghini in India where nothing goes in favour be it climate, infrastructure, space ,fuel etc those cars are not even designed & made for india & still driving these @20/ 30/40kmph.at speed breakers, ..Why? Just because they have LOADS of money in their pockets & can even buy a chopper if allowed....

    • @Whatreally123
      @Whatreally123 Před 2 měsíci

To be fair any motorcycle above 450cc is overkill for our roads. Our people have no road sense, no common sense. And most who "travel" go on highways over the weekend or do breakfast rides for wh8ch these bikes are absolutely useless. And the few who do take them to the mountains will struggle due to the weight of the bike and due to less oxygen levels.
Like you said with supercars, owning these big bikes is more of flex than actually using them for their intended purposes. Unlike in the west, where they take these bikes on adventure and bash them, indians won't cos majority don't have the skill and don't have the time and spares are insanely expensive and hard to find.
