panther F with top mounted gun sight which means you can bush up the entire turret front: Hello
same with AMX30 ACRA which has gun sight right above the gun in front, allows you to bush up the whole turret. lot of tanks are like this
This has been one of the promised changes supposedly coming this summer, along with destructible cosmetics (you'll be able to shoot the bushes off enemies)

As someone who has used it in sim... I guess I've gotten lucky that I haven't been team killed. Although it's only been a few battles so there's always the chance lol

If you use the laser rangefinder it applies the appropriate coincidence to the scope at the range you measured. This means you don't have to worry about the sight offset from the barrel since the round will hit in the centre of your crosshair at the distance the rangefinder is ranged for. Use it to mitigate the enormous gap between the sights and the gun in modern tanks, even useful at close range to ensure you don't hit buildings and can shoot closer to the corner

A song from 2:12 is a track from Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare (2007) as others commented (and also Malzi itself it the vid description). It's composer is Harry Gregson-Williams. But what others did miss out is that the original for the sounds is a track called "Better Man" composed also by Harry Gregson-Williams. It's 12th track taken from the soundtrack for Kingdom of Heaven (2005), an epic medieval historical drama directed by Ridley Scott. Funnily enough, the part of the song that starts playing at 2:12 in Malzi'v video also starts at 2:12 in the song itself.

The sim grind continues! Top tier sim battles can be fun but they’re mostly just infuriating. I typically stick to the WW2 tiers for sim.
I wish more people played sim at top tier, i really like it but it takes too much time to find a match, also for some reason leo and abrams players cant aim properly xd
@@astolfolameu8140 Its not that people don't want to play top tier sim, its that its literally too cancerous to play. Ka-50 spam is no fucking joke at that tier, I litreally bring 2 spaas just to take them out and its not even close to enough to get rid of them.

@@astolfolameu8140 If anything, Helis are TOO effective. I don't really mind planes because it takes actually brain power to fly Sim planes and lock enemies up.

It would be interesting to have the appropriate MBTs be equipped with GPS unit positioning maps; it would show friendlies on the mini map.
Not to mention that western vehicles can sent GPS coordinates at whatever was it was pointed at when laser rangefinding.

Ngl I love sim battles. It makes it so much more fair, as you cant just 3rd person peak everywhere. I just like how much more variety there is with combat, people bounce/shatter more often, or flat out miss because that's just how it is with gun sights etc. Just all around more fun in my opinion
The only downside is next to no one plays it, so queue times are like 5-10 minutes.
And you cant barrel sniped easily
I had a great game earlier on Pradesh. Got 7 kills in my Leo 1.
It's usually good to have a custom sight ready in sim, specially for cqc
I like sim battles, but I am quite shit in identifying axis and allied tanks.
So the first game I played I yeeted a 150mm shell on friendly tank 🤣

Malzi use range finder in modern tanks it actually changes the position of the gun sight depending on how close or far the target is

Fun fact: Ka-52 operation manual outright tells you that from the moment of takeoff, your speed should NEVER drop lower than 140kmph right up untill the moment you need to land.

@@GittingGud1 That's combat scenario in missile rich environment, chief. You can hover, but hover is how you make yourself vulnerable to laser guided missiles. And in plain places like Ukraine there is not enough cover in many places, fields look like objects failed to load.

Sims at top tier are so fun since it’s either new players trying it out, or people who are grinding and need a shortcut. There’s really not many professionals on simulator unless you’re extremely unlucky to come across them

You'll see those people in Simulator battles who just spawn camp with ATGM Helis. I have seen a video of a player who did that and over a year later, they still were.

hey Malzi, you seem have a hard time shooting in close quarters, might want to use custom Sim sights you can download it so you don't need to use laser rangefinder if you're in a pinch
The mental strength Malzi has to play sim is the one I'm dreaming about
Quick tip: always pay attention to the camouflage to anyone you encounter, including donated vehicles e.g: T72M1. Also be aware of what nation you’re fighting against because that should give you an idea of what tanks or planes you’ll encounter. Not paying attention to these details will certainly get you killed in sim battles.
You have the luxury of flying planes yourself being competitive and choose to use mouse joystick :x
But sim is lovely, i hope it gets more popular. It really just needs way longer matches and bigger maps.

My top tier simulator experience so far:
-If i start with the Apache AH MK1 a Pantsir kills me.
-I Start with the Challenger a K52/KA50 kills me.
I legit didn't even know that simulator battles was something that was accessible outside of custom battles, i just never looked

i play sim air battles and have fun in those but have never played sim ground because my timezone is weird so whenever im online there are basically zero people playing sim ground. Last time i tried to play ground sim i waited like ten minutes before giving up with the matchmaker and switching to another gamemode

use your commanders sight+control in sim battle, then use range finder and just shoot. The gun will adjust itself so that it will shoot at the point where you aimed at
So, it looks like what I'm supposed to be playing sim over realistic for ground combat

They should add the gunner offset sight to RB. Would make it less of a point and click barrel shooting adventure. = more fun :)
Edit: It would also add a bit more of a skill gap to vehicles - having to get used to where the sight is vs the bore.
