SIm players have gone insane from being Gaijined every single day and they not just can, they WILL wait behind that specific hill for hours waiting for you to run out of patience and give them that sweet sweet kill.
And they WILL try to fly under your plane like a frickin stealth fighter, check your payload and airforce roundels and decide if they should eliminate you or not while you're just there cluelessly flying towards the enemy plane thats actually your teammate

I honestly enjoy sim battles more than realistic battles just because there’s less cas and spaa (Super. Problem. Anti. Anything.)and less hiding behind and looking over hills

I can see Malzi slowly starting to like Simulator and perhaps we'll see an entire series unfold for that as well
I've tried sim once or twice awhile back but seeing Malzi get into it is tempting me to try again. Maybe there'll be enough of a population boost to help with the queue times!

Get a flightstick, doesn’t even have to be an expensive one. That makes flying in sim way more fun
Legend has it malzi had to wait for a game for 240 hours total just to get these ten minutes of footage.

Honest to god, my first sim experience was just like that first clip.
Shot my shot, shell says "that is as far as I can go" and falls mid air, enemy tank kills me.
Second sim experience, spent an entire match trying to kill a Centurion or something similar to it in my tiny Panzer IV/70(V) just 300 meters away from each other. It reminds me of that one scene from the Naked Gun film. Just 2 tanks sitting behind 2 rocks, lodging shells across the road onto each other's visible parts and hoping one pens the right way. It took me 30 minutes and all of the ammo to kill the poor bastard who kept detracking me and destroying my cannon. That was the entire match, and I never dared to play sim ever again.
Simulator should be treated as the SHADOW REALM.

just some quick tips for heli in sim, pressing h turns on dampening mode, which makes the heli much easier to fly. also for big emergency combat maneuvers i actually think its better to keyboard fly those, at least for me panic sets in less on keyboard controls than mouse aim.
if you really want to though you could invest in a cheap flightstick, which is a lot more effective in my experience.
same goes for planes, modern jets can toggle the SAS mode to go into damping which helps with flying stability
Agreed, even in RB using keyboard controls for pitch, ailerons, and rudder makes it so much easier and more controllable.

It's a miracle if you hit an enemy outside of 12 meters range
I used to play SB a lot it's so sad only a few players remaining on Sim :(

Fun fact: you need to memorize the shapes of every nation (tanks, aircrafts and helicopters)
Playing heli in GSB with VR and hotas is fun as heck. Haven't tried with the mouse thingy, but looks kinda weird.
Mouse joystick is a bit weird but I use to do air Sim with mouse and keyboard back when Sim battles were still a normal game mode. It takes some getting used but I'm glad I have a hotas now.

I have a great time playing Sim sometimes, but the insane eco and extreme parallax on some sights really puts me off. Plus limited BR offerings make for long or impossible queue times

I feel like the simulator only players are a nice group of players. Compared to other groups that I had seen or know about
Thing is, the SB community is so small we actually know all the regulars.
Honestly. GRB players are the worst. I’ve never been cussed out in Sim (out of three Sim battles though lol)

@@Danspy501st it's not a closed club lol. But play enough, and people will recognise you. If you like a certain spot, they might wait for you. If you play unsportingly, they will recognise you (and probably target you). Be a nice guy and a semi-competent teammate (e.g. using all spawn points) and you will earn respect.
Some players know I love to CAS, so they'll pick SPAA as first spawn. If they're good at it, I might rather go in a tank.
@@MadManchou It is still something I would try when I get a better flight stick XD (I do like to try to help out with CAS or planes) otherwise I could take tanks into it as I do like the ground SBs. But about the spawn points, does they work like they do in GR?
I feel that pain :D but honestly I like sim battles.. too bad you can't always play sim with every rank.
My first tank sim battle i only brought the b2 biz on the map where its a giant snowy field with a supet small townlet in the middle. It took i shit you not 10 minutes to get into battle and i got 5 kills after it, i took so long getting into battle all my friends died and were already out ofnthe match.

For SIM helicopters you gotta set up SAS and control dampening
Personally prefer the ww2 sim due to quicker match finding, but cold war is good too as long as you have good AA
