What is soil for potting. From where you procured it. I am very much disappointed with my potting mix. Generally get rotten. Please suggest. I have more than 20 water Lilly.
1- Don't use any soil mix, the manure in soil max can damage new roots 2- use clay soil or Use soil from cultivated land as it contains more nutrients. 3- if you are re-using old soil then treat soil with low amount of fungicide
@@mukeshwaterlilyandlotus Thank you very much dear for response. 1. I brought clay from village pond ( dried ) and used but got rotten and my plants died. 2. I think use of vermi compost is harmless. 3. Can I simply use my garden soil and vermi compost and small fungicide.
Plant care after receiving the plants from the parcel - 1- On receiving the parcel, first take out the plants carefully from the box, Dip it in fungicide for just 5 second and remove it immediately, then keep these plants immersed in water overnight.(To improve our service, make a short video of the plants you receive and send it to us.) 2- Next day morning after completely softening the wet soil plant the plants on these. (don't plant in dry and hard soil because when we add water to the soil the soil expands and there is no room for the roots in the pot Stays here ). Do not use potting mix or compost; use only potting soil as this can cause root rot. Begin fertilizing once the plant is established. 3- Planting plants in pot in pot method is easy to maintain. Hardy waterlilies are planted at the edge of the pot and tropical waterlilies are planted in the middle of the pot. 4- Do not keep the plants in strong sunlight till they become stable. When new leaves start appearing in the plants, then your plants have become stable. 5- After the plants become stable, start fertilizing in it, use NPK 19:19:19 in it to grow the plants. Give less than half a teaspoon of fertilizer to each plant by making a paper bag at every 15 days interval. Press the compost bag inside the soil at a distance of 3 inches from the root and cover it completely with soil so that the compost does not dissolve in water. When plants are fully grown, NPK 0:52:34 can be used for flowering (if your plants are in bloom, continue with NPK 19:19:19)
