Looks interesting. I've been using a Koh-i-noor and sharpening it. I can get it sharper than the Mono.
In stead of stumps and tissue, I use Q-tip type cosmetic applicators and cotton animal cage nestlets.
I use 2 sets of pencils with 2 different points, I keep one set sharp, and for shading, I use the side of the lead with a duller point. For those I use an old wall mounted Boston grinder sharpener because it exposes a longer part of the lead. It can make sharp points too, but it grinds away a lot of the pencil to do so, and I don't want it mounted on my drawing table. So for sharp points I use a variety of razor blade sharpeners that I conveniently keep on the table, and they're also economical in what they cut away.

I have an electric eraser and be warned they can burnish your paper or cause damage to the fibres underneath. The Tombow mono zero is way more controllable and if you slice the tip of a mono zero at an angle you can get incredibly fine lines.

It doesn't matter if the electric eraser damages the tooth a bit, because you use it at the final stage for highlights and details, you won't use the spots the eraser worked on anymore! and that's IF it damages the paper. Tombow 2.3mm is a different tool for different jobs, if you want the results thatt are demonstrated here, or generally, hyper realism drawings, then you need the electric eraser Kirsty uses here.@@pentachronic

I don't know if you can still get those but I used this technique many years ago with the larger type eraser and found that if you use the ones intended for drafting ink you can get pretty fine lines since they are much harder. Keep the tip flat and you will have sharp edges to work with!

Electric erasers are a godsend. The one you have in the video is fine but I have found there is something to be careful of. The thickness when around 2mm can be prone to break easily due to being extended too far from the collar that holds it. If too short then the collar can scratch the drawing. It's less likely to cause serious damage with a plastic collar but is more of an issue when it's metal. I use two. One is a Tenwin with a plastic collar, which is used for the 2mm eraser. The other is a Derwent, which has 5mm diameter erasers, held in by a metal collar. The eraser can be extended further to keep it clear without fear of breaking due to its thickness. Both erasers are kept at a fine point. They do wear down rather quickly.

I’ve seen Kirsty use an electric eraser with colored pencil in one of her videos, and yes! It does work quite well. The Derwent super point manual Helical sharpener is also really great for Prismacolor because it give such a sharp point and they break WAY less often.
Just a side not for the pencil sharpener; It is amazing and gives a really sharp point but it can sometimes cause bite marks on your pencils, that’s just something to be aware of in case that is a problem for you!
      I hope this helps!
