This is the perfect example of how not to rush a song. It took Rose 10 years and 2 bands to write this song. It was the first 90s song to cross a billion views on CZcams. It's aged like a fine wine.

Slash is a player that serves the Gilmour effect. One note can convey more emotion than a sweeping trill and massive double tapping and technical showing off. To be able to use slow, delayed vibrato effectively, emotively, is a skill you have or don't with the strings.

The classic lineup of Guns Nâ Roses was the epitome of legendary rock stars! Iâve actually met Axl Rose in person many years ago when I went to dinner at a famous New York City steakhouse and he paid for me to eat my meal with him! Nice dude!
Slashâs guitar style reminds me of David Gilmore of Pink Floyd. He never seems rushed and his guitar soloâs are top notch.

Axl has like ... six completly different voices? So it's hard to recommend just one song. But since you are such fans of Queen check out "Knockin on heavens door" live at the Freddie Mercury tribute!
There is a great live version of this song at the MTV music awards, Elton John can be seen in it participating in a piano duet with Axel Rose. (At the time) it was the biggest production in the history of the ceremony. It's pretty awesome.

I saw them live a couple of years back. Wasnât sure they would be any good anymore, but I was so wrong. Axl sounded amazing and slash didnât play one wrong note. They played a 3 hour stadium set and it was unreal, the best live concert I have ever seen.

That repeat guitar sting from the Slasher is so dramatic. I love love love catchy, heavy, repeating riffs and that was fabulous. Estranged next? Maybe even better. I seen Guns n Roses with Metallica & Faith No More in 1992 on the Monsters of Rock Tour in Pittsburgh, Pa. USA...words cant explain that day dude! Love seeing people just hearing what I grew up to n you guys made me realize I took it for granted.

This was the best band in my generation hands down there was no competition. The musical Talent on this band is second to none Axl Rose is a superior singer and slash is a superior guitar player the drummer was one of the best in the business hands down there is no other band that could do with this band did. Guns n' roses is iconic not too many lead singers can play the grand piano. And by the way this video was the most expensive video ever filmed in the music industry at that time and I believe still to this day.

Sweet Child Of mine is anothher classic from Guns n Roses. George if you like the rock / orchestra combination then you have to check out Electric Light Orchestra or ELO as they are known. You will love them, they have many great songs but my favourite is Mr. Blue Sky
