Slash: God put me on Earth to be the best rock guitarist ever!
Hendrix: I'm pretty sure I was the one that God sent.
Jimmy Page: No lads, it was me that God sent down to be the best rock guitarist ever.
Stevie Ray Vaughan: No. It was I that God sent down...
Angus: I didn't send anyone !!
Did you notice the guitar intro was ONLY played on the frets?
1990. Landed at London Heathrow and took the Tube to downtown London. Came above ground and they were GIVING t-shirts to folks with long hair for free and giving us bus rides to an old insane asylum to film this video. All you had to do was stand in the bars and shake your head. AWESOME. True Story.
That is such a cool story! And what an awesome & unforgettable experience it must have been!! Can you tell us more? Like⊠was it a concert with multiple songs? Or did they just perform this one? Whatâd you think when you heard it for the first time? And do you still have the t-shirt?? Sorry for all the questions but I canât NOT ask!! đ€Łđ
i thought that was an asylum!
LOL!
Are the numbers of people being artificially enhanced or was the place really that big?
Live at River Plate- all the songs are crazy!
Yes react to this song and Hells Bells at River Plate!
Yes! Whole Lotta Rosie!
Straight up...live is best
YES!!! that was an amazing concert!
amazing concert, For Those About To Rock was epic at River Plate
Malcolm and Angus are only 5 foot 1 inch and 5 foot 2 inches respectively but they are music monsters. Their sound goes right through the body in their live performances. I will never forget the experience.
Angus is 5â2 and Malcolm was 5â3. Two small men with a big sound. R.I.P. Malcolm.
Live At Donnington 1991
Absolutely the greatest live show ever done, the breakdown and boogie interchange on Jailbreak and High Voltage between Ang and Mal is absolutely legendary!
One of the most unique & instantly recognizable voices of rock & roll!!! Their new album sounds like it was made right after this one... they haven't lost their signature sound at all after all these years!!!
I enjoyed your reaction to Australia's best rock band. They have been going since the 1970's. Their music goes through your body and sole. The beat and guitar riffs are insane. Attending just one of their concerts is a life time memory that cannot be forgotten. The ACDC bug has bitten you both. Great reaction Bros.
AC/DC was the first concert I went to see with friends - of my next older sister. I was 14. Not sure I was ready for all the marijuana smoke, but it was a great concert. I loved AC/DC!
I have seen them in concert. They ROCKED THE HOUSE!
Another GREAT Rock & Roll Band!!! Angus is the strutter & main player - His brother is the long hair dude playing bass.
Not base rhythm
I've seen them 5 times, you can't even
imagine the energy level, it's insane!!
Greatest Rock Band of all time. Back in Black!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Angus, one of the few gods striding the earth today...
I have been to their concert. All I can say is omg. So much energy in their concerts!!!
The drummer, the singer, the bassist, and the lead guitarist are still alive. They lost their drive train, little Malcolm who stood in back and laid out all the riffs that we all love. Angus dressed them so nicely.
Rip Malcolm đ€
They have just released new material, but I don't know about touring.
@@rebeccarockchik6704 I miss Malcolm, never, met the man though... feels weird
Once again you hit the nail on the head. I saw ACDC on the for those about to Rock tour and let me tell you it was the loudest sound I've ever heard in my entire life. Also it was the most intense energy blast I've ever experienced Angus Young never stops moving for the whole concert never it would just blow your mind
Watched them in 2014 in Sydney, unbeleivable...but get hold of their 1991 concert...MONSTER OF ROCK, CASTLE DONNINGTON, ENGLAND
Great reaction. Thank you. ACDC released a new album in Nov 2020 called Power Up. You guys must check them out. This album is absolutely fantastic. Shot in the dark and Kick you when you're down, and Money Shot etc..This album is my favorite album of their career so far.
The radio station here in Houston played it when it came out & it's unbelievable that after all these years they still sound the same & rock just as hard.
AC/DC Highway to Hell, Hell's Bells LIVE at River Plate please.
Great reaction fellas..incredible bandâŠlove it.
We saw ACDC in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. When they sang this we were in the middle of a thunder storm. Epic.. yes they are still performing.
I saw this band live 2 times in the same month back in 1977. It was their first American tour the first time they opened for Foreigner. The second time 2 weeks later they opened for KISS. They blew away both bands with their performances, after that I don't think they opened for any other band ever. They are the true hard rock band, down and dirty was their moto. I loved this band the first time I listened to their first album. We had to wait 2 years to see them live, it was worth the wait. Pick anything from there collection I don't care what you pick. You will enjoy it. đŽââ ïžđ€đ€â»đžđ
I've seen them 3 times and they sound the exact same live. They still rock as hard. Lead singer is 74. Angus the guitar player is in his 60's. They were fixing to Tour this year then Covid hit. My son is your age, he grew up on this music. We always wanted him to see The Beer Gee's(My son's fav. band) and AC/DC. Unfortunately Robin and Maurice of T.B.G.'s passed. Hopefully he will get to see AC/DC and you guys do to. Best concert ever!!
I have been to one of their concerts. Couldnât hear for a week, so damn good.
I saw this band 5 times n the 80s and 90s and yes, they ALWAYS rock this hard!!!
For Those About to Rock live at River Plate. Cannons firing during the song. Beyond awesome
Live at river plate whole lot a rosie
Whole lotta rosie live at River Plate will blow your socks off. I've been to 5 ACDC concerts. Everyone is like this, a giant bounce castle. BTW - Rosie be a BIG BIG girl. lol
saw ACDC in 2012, believe me when i tell you, Angus Young NEVER EVER stops moving. rock n roll is just in the man, like few others.
I don't always listen to ACDC, but when I do, so do the neighbors. Great reaction guys. Subbing now.
Back In Black is the one song I HAVE to dance to! A local band plays it and the first note I'm on the floor. I've been to 56 concerts. I started in the 70s though lol I saw some amazing shows Heart, Bad Co, Foreigner, Cheap Trick, Jethro Tull and The Allman Brothers to name a few. Music is my oxygen especially live. Nothing like live music.
I'm 62 and have seen a lot of the greats but ACDC is the best live concert by far!
I was at the SARS concert in Toronto - The Stones and ACDC. ACDC blew them away!!!!
This band is definitely off the chain đ»đ»đ»đđ. Great pick đđđ
Saw Them In Memphis, Tennessee in the 90s. EPIC!! CLASS OF THEIR OWNâ€
Where were living if you haven't heard that song before now under a rock đ
Sadly, they're not all alive. Malcolm Young died several years ago. Huge loss to the world.
Well, 3. He passed away in November, 2017.
AC/DC - It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock N' Roll). Insane isn't truly insane without bagpipes.
Born entertainers and their music is brilliant. Can't sit still
I think guys are awesome..U guys are loving music I grew up with man..Ur generation is very soft on internet, video games cell phones..These guys and worked hard to be great..No band works hard to be great anymore..
I saw them live in 1984. Killer ! The whole place vibrated. Pure awesomeness. They are one of my fave bands. I have loved them since before they lost their original singer Bon Scott. Check out Its A Long Way To The Top If You Want To Rock And Roll or Whole Lotta Rosie
They did this song in Soccer stadium in Buenos Aires the River Plate Stadium....HUGE CROWD!!!đ
One of the best of all time. đđđđđ
Awww, the brilliant AC/DC, planning their next tour as we speak. You should have watched the Live At River Plate version of this song! Wild!!!! Just to add: have a go at the German group Rammstein, Du Hast, live in Paris for the best version. Craaaazy and brilliant.
Intensity level is off the chart with the crowd at the River Plate concert. Hellâs Bells.
Raw Rock N Roll. Aussie made Rock.
The most insane live performance of AC/DC that I witnessed was (Van Halen, Motley Crue, Ozzy, Dio & Gary Moore - same concert) on Zeppelinfield in Nuremberg in 1984. Monsters of Rock!
I love ACDC. Bon Scott is a different level. It's a long way to the top. Live. Amazing!!!
Just watched a video called 2Cellos- Thunderstruck. It has 244 million views! The most insane Cello playing I've ever seen. They freakin' rock it!
Great reaction. As to the âhow are they still aliveâ, sadly Malcolm Young (rhythm guitarist, co-writer and co-founder) passed away in November 2017. His younger brother and also co-writer and co-founding member in the shorts is still with the band. They have just released an album (Pwr Up) that is dedicated to Malcolm. A major part of why Angus(guy in the school uniform) has lasted so long is somewhat clean living. He has never done drugs or drink alcohol. His vice is smoking cigarettes lol. Check out anything from Live at the River Plate or for old school AC/DC check out anything from Live at the Apollo Theatre.
Great reactions guys. They are awesome live, you are never the same after their concerts đ€đŠđș
GâDay from Australia ! Birthplace of AC/ DC the band got itâs name from the electrical system on Australia. Australia loves you Guys.
Anything at Live at River Plate!!!! You won't regret it!! đžđžđž. Angus rules!
Back in Black!!!! Awesome â€ïžđ§
Kudos this is the first review I have seen that you acknowledge the AMAZING camera movement design in this video
Hi Bro's!!!!! From South Bend Indiana USA!
Yes your in luck!
They still play shows all over!! Have a new album too!!! ACDC is a great hard rock band!! It's a staple in any rock and rollers music library! Rock on Bros!
Yes they still go out from time to time.
AC/DC is nothing but ENERGY đ€
Lots and lots of AC/DC music to listen to. They've been hot since the 70's. Their previous singer was Bon Scott. Check out songs with him as well. đ„đ„đ„ Highway To Hell, Let There Be Rock, Whole Lotta Rosie!!
The magic of AC DC came from the hand of Malcolm Young. When the composer does the rhythm guitar music like this is created
Great Australian band - welcome to planet earth guys.
AC/DC is still rocking! My favorite! Go down the rabbit hole!!!! Back in black, Hell's Bells, You shook me, They rock with the same intensity the entire time they are on stage. It's a sight to behold!
River plate in Argentina show is magnificently produced and filmed- Thunderstruck with the biggest most reactive crowd youâve ever seen!
Adrenaline and lightning âĄïž youâve been Thunderstruck đ€đđ„đ„đ„đ„đžđžđžđ€đ§â€ïž
If you want insanity check out "Let There Be Rock" You will never forget that one.
I would recommend AC/DC - Walk All OVer You. It ignites like a space rocket.
Live at the Apollo 78, they took Let there be rock, and perfected it.
Who made Who next please
First concert of mine... mad love that 3 chords can rock one's face off so well lolđ€
lots of skill and talent behind those 3 chords
They are legendary...for a long time.
Angus Young is lead guitarist (one in little boy outfit) His Brother Malcom Young ( the bass play--RIP) Brian Johnson (Lead singer--has hearing loss) So, I don't think they will be playing in concert anymore.
AC/DC- Let there be rock!!!!! My favorite song of theirs!
In the U.S., many hockey teams play the beginning of this song when they first hit the ice to warm-up before the game starts. It gets the crowd amped up. I wonder if they do the same in Czechia?
Angus could play that guitar while falling down a flight of stairs. The man is awesome!
They just put out a new album (tribute to Malcom who was a driving force of the AC\DC sound from the Rhythm guitar and Angus' brother) and they want to tour when Covid allows again.
They recently did a new concert at River Plate, they're really old but they sound like they haven't aged, it's legend ^^
"Recently" (2009)
Oh hell yeah! Hells Bells at River Platte in Argentina 140,000 people!
Was there best crowd beside Master of Rock in Moscow 91
Lol! I'm 56 years old and I went to see the 21 gun salute concert as a teenager...best concert ever!
My husband has a AC/DC tattoo and knows anything you could want to know about them!
Yes they always act like that!
Saw AcDc in the 70s in Perth. Angusâs guitar lead was about 30 mergers long.
You should listen to more Australian bands. Midnight Oil, Cold Chisel, Easybeats, Men at Work, The Triffids, Hoodoo Gurus, The Church, Icehouse....
Live? Look no further than Live At River Plate.....as many comments below suggest. You cannot go wrong.....it is one of the best live concert films of all time. The crowd is crazy, the performance is almost perfect! It is simply pure rock joy.....
You guys should check out Two Cellos do a cover of this. Never seen a cello player rock out like those two do!
I saw AC/DC in 92 when they toured for this album's launch! They opened with this song, and the intensity stayed up the entire time. They were always my go to pre-workout music in my heavy lifting days. By the time I got to the gym, I wanted too tear the head off something. I highly suggest you check out their 1970's music when Bon Scott was the lead singer.
AC/DC has ALOT for you...! Some of their best: "Touch Too Much", "Are You Ready", "TNT", "Walk All Over You", "Ride On" AND "Rock n Roll Ain't Noise Pollution" Please studio versions.
I saw them in NY around 2002 when I was 12; 1st concert.
The brother of the lead guitarist died (guitar on the left), they lost the singer because of hearing problems but he's gotten better and is coming back (they used Axl Rose from Guns and Roses to finish their last tour) and were planning to come back and then Covid hit. But to your question, yes they are going to tour again!
Check this song live at River Plate stadium, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Unbelievable!
My favourite band AC DC
I LOVE AC/CD!! đ€đ€đ€đ€đ€đ»đ€đ»đ€đ»đ€đ»
They are going to tour again soon I seen them back in the mid-70s in Oakland California the greatest rock band there is
Obviosuly live at river plate. Literally waves of people... in this world of pandemic itâs even more amazing to watch!
First concert I went to, didnât disappoint.
You need to hear. Let There Be Rock. Angus Young just tears the guitar solo up.
Any true fan of AC/DC MUST watch the video of the their concert in Argentina. Best live footage of Thunderstruck ever. AC/DC Thunderstruck (Live @ River Plate, December 2009).
They are very intense live, even though they are old guys now. An especially great concert is Live at River Plate in Brazil. The crowd there is insane! You should also look at the work they did with their original singer Bon Scott, and the first album they did with Brian Johnson, Back in Black. His voice was so much better then.
Guys you have to see a Live version of this song. Specially the Argentina's version at river plate stadium. Regards from Chile! :-)
'AC/DC charges you' - best comment ever.
Angus Young Is the lead guitar(the one in little boy clothes) & his brother Malcom Young the bass player are the owners of this band.
When to a Alice copper concert, the open act was a band l had never heard of,ac dc,,,my friends and me were laughing our asses off when Angus came out with a school boys outfit on,,we were like,,who the hell are these guys.lol then he started to play,,,we thought he was the thunder god of rock from then on,,,
That first pause..... no. Worst timing ever. But I love you guys! This was the song I would always crank up right before my New England Patriots played in a playoff game or Super Bowl. More often than not, the other team WAS thunderstruck! Epic song!
Truly stupendous AC/DC song man. For a real treat you must check out the cover of this song by Steve N' Seagulls, a bluegrass band from Finland. They do incredible covers of hard rock songs with bluegrass instruments- banjo, stand up bass, mandolin, accordion and drums. It is next level.
Like YYZ no intro-just brilliant!!
Welcome in the world of AC/DC :)))
This song live at river plate stadium is insaaaaane
