The offspring saying "I am" wasn't a reference to "I think therefore I am" it was a reference to how god references themself as "I am" in the Bible, which is foreshadowing the fact that their real father is god
I guess that's possible, but that mostly applies to the Chirtian/Jewish God, not Zeus.

There is no higher power which tells you how you should live or why you live at all. The philosopher who is most known for these nihilistic ideas is Friedrisch Nietsche. He wrote a story about a person who claimed that we killed god. A metaphor for society abandoning their believe to a god figure.

There's nobody at the wheel of the universe.
But the thing behind Moses and Jesus can't just be ran over by a starship.
It was all in this episode. There is no space, earth is flat, G-d is real.
I'm sad I scrolled somewhat far down and no one is referencing the Morty's Mind Blower segment "The Whole Enchilada". Rick sees that alien get dragged down to hell, or ported to alien hell from Earth, who knows, and Rick says "Well on the bright side, now I know religion is real, they have a hell and it does NOT look good!". Kind of a neat arc for Rick spanning the series so far.

I mean they also fought the devil, went to hell, and claimed "Christian God is real and we're gonna kill him" so at this point I have no idea what their stance actually is.

Dreamcast was an amazing console, just poorly marketed. One of the first arcade perfect consoles back in the day.

Saturn was the first arcade perfect or very close too with VF2 and a few othres but i agree, Dreamcast was amazing and actually surpassed the arcades at the time.
This episode was the best one of the season. Jerry had a purpose, so did morty, beth, summer and obviously rick. Seinf rick fight a god was great. All the storylines coming together was great. Ik we’ve had some game changing episodes like the vat of acid or the story train but this was just good ol fashioned rick and morty.
Unfair! The dreamcast was a pretty good little system at the time. Defiantly not Jerry. Jerry does not have plug in maraca controller.

3:00 I think "I am" is likely more of a reference to the Biblical God's name - "I am" (He literally tells Moses to tell the Pharaoh that "I am sent me"), implying that those are children of God... even though the God that shows up is actually a Greek one - Zeus.
9:17 The "off-brand Yahweh" could also be a reference to a sci-fi trope where superior beings appear to primeval civilizations and declare themselves gods, as illustrated in the Star Trek TOS episode "Who Mourns for Adonais?"

The axiom? yeah that’s what I was thinking.
A ‘Zeus’ is very different from an Abrahamic god since the Olympians weren’t an ‘origin’ style pantheon of gods. They inherited from their progenitors the Titans, they didn’t create the world or even the human race (the human race could have predated the Olympians because humans coexisted with the Titans prior), they merely took over the domains left behind. So being a ‘Zeus’ prolly means just that, cosmic asshole who possibly killed their parent and took over a domain. Powerful, but not really all-powerful.
Yeah I'm a little confused why this ep switches back and forth about treating Zeus like **a** god and The God with a capital G. Like referencing the plagues and moses and stuff which is biblical and has nothing to do with the greek gods.
The fight between Rick and Zeus reminded me of "God of War" battle between Kratos and Zeus

"I AM" might also be a reference to "I AM: I", which is what the burning bush replied when Moses asked who it was.
I think the "It's just a Zeus/Soos" line or the fact that the Zeus is named Reggie is also a reference to Gravity Falls. Like the one in the first evil morty episode (Gruncle Stans notepad, cup and pencil fall out of portal)

Reggie has the Greek letter Phi tattooed because in math Phi is the Divine Number and considering he's a Zeus, it fits. An interesting note is that it's the upper case Phi (the lower case usually represents the golden ratio) which is the reciprocal of the golden ratio (basically it's two numbers whose product is one), which could be a play on Reggie and Gaia joining as one to make these clay babies, effectively erasing any doubt that Reggie is the father and Rick is not.
