  • In podcast episode 2, we spoke with Alan from the Sacred Geometry Decoded CZcams channel & had a fantastic conversation about the incredible accomplishments of ancient cultures. We discuss the profound mathematics encoded in architecture; the transport & lifting of megalithic stones worldwide; ancient units of measure regarding distance, geometry, time & the shape of our planet; the possibility of a lost civilization in times of prehistory & whether ancient people could’ve possessed some form of high technology. This is definitely a conversation you don’t want to miss. Thank you so much for watching! Enjoy the podcast!

Started with graham hancock but have since had a series of questions that lead me back towards the mainstream, the demonstrations of ancient primitive tech has definitely helped along that path, but also reading archaeology news and mainstream history and realizing we know a lot more definitive on some of this stuff than the alternative wants to admit.

Enjoyed that - been a fan of SGD for a while. I too was taken in by LAHT at first - the reason I started my channel. It didn't take too long though for me to realise that certain things just didn't add up. I used to work with stone, so this was always a particular interest. I researched into stone processing/lifting etc...and tried to share my findings with certain channels - got shadowbanned fast!:)...(unchartedx/foerster etc)...I also found (as you may have) that a lot of this LAHT stems from theosophical ideas...and it actually led me down a rather unsavoury rabbit hole that I was glad to get out of...another reason I've given up on this for now...some unwholesome darkness there, imo.

      @AncientPresence  Před rokem +2

Wow thanks for sharing all of that. We also started this channel on the the lost advanced civilization side of the debate and, through our thorough research, have come to realize that so much of that is unfounded and irrational, wishful thinking and a total lack of research and understanding. Of course it sounds sensational that sites like the Serapeum were made using high technology for a technological purpose, but that is just utter nonsense, once you do enough research to actually understand the history of the site.
We’re currently working on our part II on the Serapeum, it’ll be ready next week probably. Did you watch our part I? Doing epic deep dives reveals so much that dispels the ignorance that is far too widely being spread around out there on the internet. It’s unfortunate how much misinformation continues to be passed around as fact.
It’s also unfortunate that people like you get shadow banned from sensational channels promoting this stuff. Our intention is to bridge the gaps, respectfully, and shine light on misunderstandings about the ancient world, so we can all learn and grow together.

Maybe the unwholesome darkness is, that if there was really an ancient civilization with high tech, and they convinced all the others that they are magicians and gods, perhaps it's not worth bothering about some bastards that want to be worshipped, even if they do have high tech lol. You know I'm half kidding but also half serious. We are the result of that past, of all those gods and magicians.. so if that is the case, the same gods didn't help us create a perfect world evidently. @@AncientPresence thanks for the response, yes sorry secrets in plain sight. I will be sure to watch it as it seems awesome.
Regarding Anyextee, I would hate to comment on what I don't know and speculate his stance on lost high technology. But I find myself somewhat conflicted now also, im not sure if its technology or just knowledge, methods and knowhow that has been lost passed down for a very longtime. Probably something similar to what Alan was hinting at in this video interview. I think there are a couple of things that could hint to possible high technology, but with my lack if engineering knowledge its hard to gauge if it is high tech Egyptians and possible earlier cultures had or just they had more tools in the tool kit (like that of the Greeks and Romans) than Egyptologists give them credit for.
My perception on Anyextee stance was more along the lines of perhaps there was some high tech but not as much as what the alternative crowd claim. But I could be very wrong.

People have a hard time imagining ancient life. Because there is no documentation of it we have to imagine it ourselves based on the information we encounter. And most of us only encounter such info in the form of crappy illustration and cheap/misinformed re-enactments. For the longest time my image of hunter gatheres was a group of 10-20 people just sitting on the ground all day, waiting doing nothing. That is the only thing I saw in textbooks.
But of course humans from 10.000 years ago were practically identical to us. They travelled, they traded, they made art, they made music, they had crafts, they had social lives, politics, mass events, etc. If you strip modern life down to its principles it is the exact same thing, we do some kind of work to put a roof over our head and food on the table and for the rest we all hope to achieve something meaningful like doing something that is respected or starting a family. It was just smaller and instead of youtube they had campfires and starlit skies. Instead of working in an office you worked to sustain the village/tribe in whatever capacity suits you or is needed like rope maker or foreger or cook or hunter, etc.
People still had social life with friends, gossip, love interests, bad puns, etc. But instead of it revolving around school or work it revolves around large ceremonies, festivities, things that brought people together from many different tribes and whatnot. There were tradesmen and communicators who frequently travelled the lands to trade goods and information. There were established trade routes over land and water.
Just like us they had 24 hours a day and they had the ability to talk, they weren't like animals just sitting around doing nothing but silent eating all day, they were humans who got bored, who told jokes, who told big stories, that squabled, fantasized, dared, etc. We estimate that hunter gatherers that lived in areas with plenty of resources only had to work a couple of hours a day to sustain themselves, that leaves more than enough time to travel to a clothes maker who makes the best skin jackets to impress the cute girl from the neighboring tribe, to design a prettier temple so your village gets chosen for a special ceremony, to invent a new way to store food so the tribe will finally recognize that you are to be respected, to plan a trip to some remote lands that somebody told you about, etc.

The thing that gives the LHTC an in with this site (Balbek) is that there are no written records detailing who commissioned and carried out the construction nor any written description of the techniques employed. This doesn't prove a wit but gives them a rational to claim we don't know who built it.

Finding a hammer next the great pyramid and saying that it couldn’t have possibly been used to build the pyramid is an extremely illogical way to think, if you ignore the fact that the hammer is in a tool box full of other tools, in a work shop full of equipment that undoubtedly were used to build the pyramid.
One must look at all the evidence together and form a full picture and put it all into context. I encourage you to watch our full 3 part Serapeum series and you’ll see what I’m talking about. The rollers are just a small piece of an enormous puzzle of evidence that explains the creation of the Serapeum.

Egypt had a civilization that lasted about 2500 years. The Romans only about 1000. The people who inhabited the old kingdom were related to, to some degree, but were an entirely different people than those who lived during the reign of the Ramesses. The Romans borrowed culture from the Greeks. But they and the Greeks got their knowledge of quarrying and stone masonry from the Egyptians.

The speed of light thing is a total coincidence and probably cooked up. Because you have three separate degrees of freedom that you can play with:
    1. The units of measurement
    2. The exact location selected (since a Pyramid is not a point object)
    3. The mathematical or physical constant you want to get close to
To explain a bit more: first of all, degrees (latitude, measured from 0 to 360) and speed (meters per second in this case) are totally unrelated units of measurement... so with this degree of freedom, it's very likely to find accidental overlaps like that... first you look at the degrees, then you think which mathematical or physical constants are close to that... then there is the additional degree of freedom that the pyramid is not a "point-like" object, it has width and length, so that gives you an additional degree of freedom. So if meters per second don't work, maybe try miles per second, or miles per hour, or try radians instead of degrees, etc, etc. You can easily cook such things up if you know what you're aiming for lol... and if the speed of light doesn't work, there are so many other important constants in math and physics like e, pi, phi, speed of sound, gravitational constant, and on and on and on...

Here's how I see it. However the machining was done, it was not done in the basic primitive manner often presented to us by the mainstream; copper chisels, mallets, or fire and wooden wedges. So, when we talk of ancient high technology, any method more advanced then those, qualifies. Even if we could do the methods today, that we do not give credit to the ancients for being capable of doing construction in a near equal to or greater degree than modern day does them great discourtesy. I just want to know how they did it. Clearly they had tools. I also ponder the corrosive nature of metal when considering the remains of tools. Not much is left of metal after a few hundred years. Gold and silver won't corrode, but iron and steels will, all the tools will be gone.

Have you seen any of SGD’s videos on using primitive techniques to drill, cut and polish granite? It’s pretty straight forward, many people have experimented and achieved satisfactory results showing that primitive methods of cutting granite easily explain how the ancient stoneworks were created.

I appreciate him having a different view on this stuff. I don't agree with most of what he's saying but I respect his right and effort to disprove the ancient tech stuff. I mean Indians, Ethiopians, Egyptians, Petra, South Americans and more were cutting out perfect rooms and giant sculptures out of solid cliff sides. Some of the stone with extreme hardness. Look at the temple in Ethiopia and those giant precise rooms in the middle east cut directly into the mountain. They would be inhaling tons of dust and wouldn't even be able to see in those caves cut out of marble. SGD doesn't talk about any of the unexplainable stuff. He cherry picks out only areas that could be explained by his views.

Obviously they arent able to do the same things ancient Egyptian craftsmen with centuries of stone working traditions behind them could do, it's just meant as a proof of concept. How do you think the vases were made?
It is truly impressive that Egyptians were able to make a lathe well enough to get something to be precise to thousandths of an inch. But it makes me curious that in the video, "Scanning a Predynastic Granite Vase to 1000th of an Inch" they only show the precision of certain parts of the vase. I'm curious if the full data would show imprecision elsewhere. I'd also be curious to see the precision of what Scientists Against Myths were able to get.

I agree that we need to be honest and fair.
Therefore when someone says that granite cannot be done with copper & bronze tools,
he meant copper could not shape granite in an effective way and reach the level we see in Egyptian Artifacts in a considerable amount of time
so cutting a few centimeters in days and claiming this is the way have been demonstrated since 25 years by Denys Stocks and Nova Team, there is nothing new about that, and still not convincing for many people who argued that the same way could not be used to cut an obelisk. please don't blame anyone of being not convinced.
In addition, Stocks was a much more polite gentleman and did not keep attacking everyone, I agree with some of his inputs and disagree with others, but I admire Stocks.

@@RedDarkBull That is what they're trying to move the goal posts to, but if you have watched the fringe "alternative community" long enough, you will surely remember back in the day when they were claiming bronze chisels cannot work granite and therefore the Egyptians could not work granite, which is a straw man.
We know the Egyptians saw granite and sawing granite today will show similar marks as the ones in the archaeological record, just look at Hordjedef's sarcophagus or Khufu's sarcophagus.
Using the sawing rate obtained by Stocks (12 cubic cm/h if I remember correctly, though you might want to double check), you can calculate the sawing time of any granite block of your choice, so I have to ask, can you name a single one that would take too long?
The problem is the obelisks were not sawed, they were quarried and claiming otherwise would be a straw man. Shaping a rectangular block of stone is a basic feat for most big civilizations on this planet, so why would it be different for the Egyptians? Besides, Dieter Arnold already showed some obelisks display manufacturing errors.
I am not talking about SGD as a person, if he's nice or not, I'm talking about his experiments and about the scientific data. Claiming he does little, after making a translucent piece of granite, it's a bit unfair, isn't it? The only reason the "alternative community" doesn't claim it's an impossible object made by high tech, it's because they didn't found it in a museum.
