Love the A4. I have the Colt A4 and an FN military surplus A4 upper on a PSA lower. Add a Knights Armament or P&S quad rail, an ACOG, and an old M961 SureFire light and you have an instant Marine Corp classic.

As a Class 3 SOT from the 1990's, I remember, back in the 1970's & 1980's, many persons (idiots) converted Colt ar's to "full auto" resulting in federal violations. Many manufacturers made modifications to prevent their product from being easily converted. Colt and other were smart to modify their lowers and probably saved many people from becoming felons. Nice product review.
Hey man, thank you for the nice words! I only had knowledge of Colt going out of there way to put blocks in and change the lowers to prevent FA parts. I didn’t not know of any others, I was in the Air Force in the early 90’s and started collecting the AR rifles and only seen Colt doing silly things like changing fire control pins and take-down offsets things. In the end, it didn’t help Colt avoid the ‘92 “assault weapon” ban. Now, Colt was once the world gold standard for the AR, is now made by CZ. I have no issues with this beautiful rifle, but many ppl trash talk it. Thank you again for the comment and for watching. I really hope this is the new model of colt. I just bought an ar a4 from colt an im really hoping i dont regret it . Its 2024 and ive heard alot of people saying colt isnt worth it

Nice video. I purchased one of these full size Colt rifles about 10 months ago. Mine is marked AR15 A4, not Carbine and came with a detachable carry handle. About the same time, I purchased the 16" collapsable stock CR6820 marked "Carbine" and it did not come with a carry handle. On the box sticker, it said M4. Colt should take a little more care on their rifle markings since they know most people who buy the Colts are picky about the rifle markings. It is disappointing to see your lower marked Carbine.
Howdy Doug, thank you for the comment, I was disappointed seeing the lower marked carbine, but I did have a heads up watching videos before I purchased this one. Although CZ are producing them with the legendary Colt name, it still felt like good quality.

That is because Colt went bankrupt and was bought out by CZ. They don't make these newer models using the same parts that the real Colt rifles used before they went bust.
These new Colt AR's are not made by CZ. They are made in the Colt factory in West Hartford, Conn. by the same employees that have made Colt for the government. CZ is supporting Colt financially as in a merger. I have the Colt A4, and it is every much a Colt as the one I carried in the Corps.
Windom weaponry beats any new colts out there quality fit finsh better on a ww they allsome not Remington msde bushmaster. There lost quality when rem had um ww is the grg a2 a4 now days
That is not a Colt rifle, it is a CZ made gun using the Colt name. The quality of these rifles in nowhere near the same as the actually Colt made and marked AR-15 A4's.

you need some 55 gr 193 for that 20".
Would that harrington and richardson upper be compatible with this rifle. The upper says no m4 feed ramps. I want put fixed carry handle on this rifle

I was told that CZ is making them under Colt license. Mine seems to be of good quality, I don't like the "carbine" on the lower though.

Dose the carry handle sight say 6/3 or 8/3 on 20 inch barrel should be 8/3 like on the A2 6/3 on M4
It has 6/3 elevation nob. It has the square casting marking on the upper right side of the carry handle.

I was thrilled about it, but I knew they made there first run with them. Like I said, I’m not a huge Colt fan, but it is a nice rifle.
