Basically the Kid becomes a Beast Master & the beast master ability carries on from generation to generation. This explains why the Hunters in FC4 can tame animals & command them to attack you. The hunters from FC4 are the Beast Master descendants
This means that FC primal was just an explanation to how the hunters tame beast in 2014!

It's a bit like Blood Dragon, Primal isn't a "full" game. It's just an expansion, or a mini prequel of sorts.

I like the fact of Ull and Batari being totally different from each other.
Ull, although ruthless, was a real leader, aware that his people were dying and in search of a solution - even extreme - for their survival.
Batari looked like an hysterical fanatic, obsessed by the cult of her people.
I felt no mercy throwing her to fire, while I was rather moved by Udams Leader's death. I also found Izilas much more vicious than Udam.
I thought it was funny, Batari was like “oh wow, this is what I’ve been doing to people?”
I love how takkar doesnt hesitate in killing dah, or trying to kill urki, or just anyone in general.

Izla are meant to be harder, they are the smart and technologically advanced tribe, where as the udam are essential a "previous generation" they are less evolved neanderthals and are dumber for it. also they MAY or may not have accidentally gotten ill because of cannibalism
well its like most far cry games. In 3 you had the drunk dumb pirates with shitty weapons then those more army like trained soldiers with better weapons and tactics. And with 4 you had the southern soldiers who were just a simple enemy in the way. Where as the northern soldiers were again. Armed with better weapons, armor, and skill

Viking age is just overdone to fucking death and it gets way too reductive when it comes to Christianity, yet the Vikings were absolutely evil by most standards, lol. I REALLY enjoyed primal, though.
I would like story of vikings and Britain something like this, choosing side, few different enemies bosses, good story etc.
If we were ever to get a Primal spiritual successor I'd choose between either of those two settings.
1.- An early Copper Age setting were your hunter gatherer tribe fights off the arrival of Indoeuropean people, set in Central Europe and maybe getting dragged to the Middle East.
2.- Late Pleistocene again, but this time in South America with weird shit like ground sloths, glyptodons and maybe some anachronistic terror birds.

I really just spent time having fun hunting, then I'd randomly have enough stuff for an upgraded item.
"Burn this pest to ash. " Okay. (burns Batari the Pest to ash). Most satisfying cutscene ever.
But even more satisfying was the "storm the temple" stuff before. When that music by Fever Ray starts playing and you just run after those Izila assholes after you put on that mask making them think you're their stupid sun goddess coming to punish them. And you then just butcher every one of them trying to run away or hide... now THAT was satisfying.

yeah you are right, we only got to see Ull twice in the entire game and killed him so easily. Whereas in other games, the final boss escapes many times and hunts you many times as well.

So I did some research and I know that the Udam are Neanderthals (Even though they should be extinct by the time the game takes place) the Wenja are Cro Magnon (Early European Humans) and the Izila are Modern Man (there us) but Cro Magnon and Modern Man are very very similar so by the games date the Izila should be the dominate race Udam are long dead and Wenja are in the DNA of the Izila

When I remember correctly the Izila have a primitive form of agriculture. If I am right then they probably resemble the first wave of farmers that migrated to Europe. But that happened round about 9000 to 7000 years before present and ca. 3000 to 5000 years after the time period the game is set in (which is 12000 years ago). And the Neandertals were already extinct since ca. 18000 years at the date of the story line. :D
For some reason Ull’s death made me cry my eyes out he really was just trying to help his people survive. And he was like, “protect... protect.” Omg I cried and the kid was like, “dad? Dad?” Omg I CANT😭😭😭.
I also felt bad for Ull even tho i loved watching Batari burn in flames

But I still have much more respect for both of them compared to the cowardice Izila commander and Batari. At least ULL and Dah weren’t afraid to die and fought to the bitter end like warriors

I loved all the characters in this game, I liked that there aren’t really ‘bad guys’ you are just one tribe surviving how they can, just as brutal as the others but it makes sense, in other games I always felt a disconnect between going around with a noble goal while also killing 1000 people whereas in this one I felt like it was self evident why what you are doing is right by virtue of your tribe, I would love a more fleshed out sequel perhaps set over a longer period of time with advancing technologies (with a little stretching of reality like in this one for weapons of course) but where the society you live in spreads out over the areas you conquer with connections between it until you become a proto-society kind of like this meets civilisation games (with less advancing spans of time)
Dah was the only character I genuinely felt bad for killing, even if it was at his request.
i wish this game had a longer storyline. a LOT longer. this game cost me like 70 damn dollars and i beat that shit in two days; all endings. i wasted my money tbh. i liked the game, and i thought it was fun, but after doing everything in the game that quickly i was a little disappointed

I still believe that Batari's story was more epic. Ull surely was a tough guy to defeat, and he has some background with all that Udam illness stuff. Which is interesting, as a variation of the Neanderthals fall.
However, Isila were the first to step at the edge of a new era of agriculture, which further changed people's life radically. The begining of slavery, new forms of religion, new social structure. Batari is very ambitious and devoted, even fanatic (damn she sacrificed her own son for the sake of her ideas). I loved to watch the collision of these two worlds. While Udam's desire was more about self-affirmation and surviving, Batari and her tribe demonstrate the other side of human progress and a crucial moment for humankind.
Not to mention she's stylish AF and the voice actress did a damn good job. Kudos
and that kids is the story of how i met your mother.

Tip: for all the boss fights If you have the death from above skill you can insta kill all of them apart from Atari as it's a long ranged fight

I’m guessing the sickness the Udam were experiencing was kuru, which is contacted from consuming human brains. It’s terminal and results in many of the same symptoms shown in Dah and the rest of the Udam

I'm pretty sad that Dah died he was my favourite character, and yes i had to beat him, but later on he acted so friendly and like a good brother i started to like him but no Ubisoft kicked me in the balls and made me very sad, seeing the best character in my opinion in far cry primal die.
