The far cry 5 ending is like the sheriff knew the actual endings
Naw it was just a wise decision. He knew that the cult was armed and they were just three of them. I was thinking the same thing.
"Sometimes it's best to leave well enough alone." Is the same phrase the sheriff used on the helicopter ride to the compound. I get the feeling that the sheriff knew Joseph was listening in on their conversation and decided that it was too dangerous to pursue.
Tbh, there was only 3 armed law enforcers in an armed to the teeth village, which belongs to extremely fanatical sectants. If they were truly planning this through, they should`ve send National Guard right away. Had Joseph ordered them to be shot, they would be in a matter of a second, but he went for the show.
He saw 20 million playthrough and know tbis is the path they took

One thing about far cry 6, you can end it at any time, just stop what you're doing and get a boat, and go to the edge of the map
I love how you arguably get the best ending if you just do what the damn antagonist asked.

Anton: You go to Miami, no troubles, you live the dream.

i think Pagan Min is the most relaxed Opening we've had of an antagonist from a Far Cry title.
Dude even pagan was not even a proper villain 😂 that's why majority people didn't kill him in the end definitely the most coolest antagonist

I would love a game in an alternate universe where all these endings took place and we revisited the old games and locations in different ways and what could have happened
The far cry 4 ending is actually canon, not sure about the others though
far cry 5 might also be cause a lot of franchises chare universe with far cry

The other two endings besides far cry 4 is kinda sad, joseph gets to run free terrorizing, and killing, and illegally rehabilitating people into his cause. And in 6, the last hope for yara is killed by Anton's forces. But hey you get to chill in Miami so i suppose it ain't that bad
Now while Joseph is sorta a asshat.........gotta admit the looming accuracy of his prophecy though. "Look man, I believe you but I ain't joining ya shit, cool?"

Vaas and Pagin Min are my favorite farcry villains. Where vaas is the perfect example of someone who is insane and crazy. Pagin min is formal and more of someone who is hiding in the shadows. Someone who seems so far, but through his dialog on your radio, he is so involved and very underappreciated, to be honest.
Pagan kind of reminds me of Homelander

My headcanon on why the protagonist got the secret ending path
Ajay:What he saw pagan do to his commander and being secured in a palace with many men guarding the place,logically ajay stayed and ate the food.
The deputy: They was going to put the handcuffs but as soon as reaching it they were given an vision on what was gonna happen the minute the deputy put the handcuffs on Joseph
Dani: She (canonically Dani is female) wanted to escape Yara and wanted nothing to do with libertad so she did what they asked for and took the boat to Miami
