Faroe Islands Hike | Lake Over the Ocean | Faroe Islands Tips and Guide

Welcome to Day 6 of My Adventures around the Faroe Islands. In this video you will get a feel about the hike at Sorvagsvatn Lake. This is one of the most popular hikes in all of the Faroe Islands. It is the largest lake. It takes between 30-40 minutes to drive here from the Capital of Torshavn. Only about 10 minutes away from the airport.
This hike is 4.5 miles roundtrip. Its calm at first and then steep and more than likely windy. Make sure to pack accordingly. It can warm, windy, cool, muddy, or rainy. Sometimes all the above I have heard.
You will ascend 1200 feet at your highest point.
