Very interesting video however, this plane only has 12 360kcals of energy above 300 Kph at an altitude of 1 350 210 Big Macs stacked on top of each other with the average air density of only 1 000 kg/789 L in the fight against the LF Spitfire it basically means it has no chance unless the enemy performs a high Popsicle maneuver at an average speed of 10 kN thus going into a propeller to propeller engagement and getting destroyed.

Yeah, I first found out about Defyn from Odd's BV 155 vid as well, and in the couple of weeks since I think my K:D has roughly doubled, and even got my first ace over the weekend (with a Spitfire IIb for the mini-event).
The Spitfire at 17:10 looks like he's flying with his flaps out. He's not gonna get alot of energy like that :D

I found this video far more interesting than defyn's other vid's because he explains in far more detail about dogfight tactics. I learned more in this video than in videos that are played at regular speed. Please make more videos like this where you slow down the footage and explain what is happening. It is really helpful.

I know this was a lot of work, so I'll just say this was really cool and I hope I see more of this from you in the future. Theres a bit of a gap in WT Air that Green Fury used to fill.
Idea for future videos: Do them by aircraft type, but in a mix of BRs. What I mean is provide a breakdown of how you go about fighting Zeros/Spitfires/other turn fighters in one vid, and then another vid with a different type. I only mention Zeros because it seems the meta is to hold "S." Educating the player base on how to deal with that could help mitigating it.

I have difficulties understanding which roll or maneuvers your or enemies plane suppose to do, when you pause the video. It may seem very clear for you and others 🙂 Feels as if there is little bit more educational potential, at least for part time pilots like me 😀 Thank you

Just finished watching the video I ve split into three parts and in my opinion this video would be pain to do from a normal recorded clip (because of editing and so on). Despite the replay features sucks in some parts I am gonna say you did very good job working with the replay itself. The commentary is loud, clear and understandable. Not mentioning the flyght performance is always pleasure to watch and very well done indeed. Its a bit sad despite the work you have put into this video, there are not many likes compared to views :( Anyway looking forward to see more vids like this. Have a nice day :) \o

FYI, a lot of people, myself included, watch CZcams videos, but close them when we play War Thunder. However, we continue watching them when we open "recently closed tabs". The analytics doesn't capture that, however. Or maybe it does!?! Anyway, cool video!

The g55 kill was very helpful
You can get the enemy's camera from grabbing the replay from gaijin's server. IIRC its kinda janky cause its updating at the network tickrate, but it still offers a cool perspective.

Did you use the Server replay or your client replay? could explain the desync, you can find server replays in your Battle Log or directly searching their database for the match, gives you access too all player cameras too

i seen you say the poll percentage vs views was 90% and 60%, i will be watching the whole thing though, i voted yes to the replay video and i like learning things even if i can already figure them by common sense. guessing vs practice/reality is different however. but no matter. i look forward to the time i get to fly with some random username vte member, or maybe one day get competent enough to challenge some of the dueling discord. also i wasnt looking at the killfeed but on Normandy the other day there was two kv220's together doing quite well at b point, and i whiffed a bomb with the fw190 f-8. that wasnt you and odd was it?

Regarding the D-9 hitting you in replays, the perspective of enemies will always be somewhat off compared to what the player actually sees. It's still viable to observe enemies for decision making, but usually they'll be slightly more lined up for a shot than it appears because of War Thunder's lag compensation not being reflected in replays.

bought this today and its my favourite prop, every says it sucks ass but i find it really strong especially with its guns, even if i dont climb too much i can get kills and in my first game i got 3 kills lol

Please play the yak15p it is more than great at the 6.3 br it sits in and enemy fighters (most of them in this meta of no climbing and just ground pounding/hunting ju288s) can't fo much about it.

It's a pity with the Sea Fury; that Flight Model is cursed; the actual S.Fury was designed to be an air superiority fighter along the lines of the Fw190. So that poor slob never had a chance, regardless of how good you actually are, Defyn (which is pretty damn good); that damn thing shouldn't be the one of the worst planes in game .😓
