Rob, I quit reading comics when I was like 14 and now (going on 30) over the past few months I have watched or at least listened to hours of these videos you put out and all I have to say is.... I love you bro, you brought a joy back into my life that I didn't even realize I was missing, thank you so much man and I hope you stay in "amazing" physical and mental health so I can keep listening to you talk about comics for years to come.

probably because there is not enough information about the empty hand to make a video on him.
Also i think its because these characters are so OP that they get beaten so much. like galactus, he has what i like to call A.O.K (avatar of khaine) syndrome, where every time a character wants to hype up there new character they are "hay look this guys so strong he can beat galactus!" and its ends up with galactus just being a whipping boy. on the upside thats why stories like when galactus invaded asgard so cool, because they actually gave him some respect.

And it's about something serious go against the rules of all lifeforms, and forces and what hold life and keep all balance in Existence, so the Anti-Life Equation is against that balance of Existence. So it can and could go against everything and anyone against it or their will. That's why it's so OP.

Probably verbalizing his immortality. The reason Thanos's motive was changed was because the marvel universe didn't want abstracts yet. Although, I'm pretty sure the living tribunal was name dropped in doctor strange.
Bit of both. I’m sure it wasn’t an accident and writers wanted it to be a cool hint to the character of Eternity but that doesn’t mean they’re actually gonna go there.
Insert Name the cosmic abstracts have been hinted at since the first Guardians of the Galaxy. The temple where Star Lord finds the power Stone has murals of a few of them.
We welcome Eternity to the MCU with the intro to Thor Love and Thunder 🔥👏🏼. Can’t wait to see how they do this with her reborn into Gorr’s daughter.

@@GraemeGunn basically Enternity doesnt really win his fight, but the entire story of marvel comics happen within Eternity, so his unkillable because if he was to truly die, it would be the same as the entire Marvels comic industry closing down.

He is one of my favorite characters and I feel as if he hasn't gotten enough exposure of credit for exploring the options a nigh-omnipotent character had in mainstream comic books well before any other publisher.

I love the idea of these incredibly powerful abstracts, but Marvel writers instead of using them properly they just get into a pissing contest about who can introduce the most powerful character again and again until these cosmic beings mean nothing.

"Omega" classification is for mutant, Rob did explain how his is using the scale use for mutant to explain both mutant and other characters who are consider high and top tiers in power.
Since theres no other power scale in the Marvel universe, his using this to be as lorefriendly and accurate as possible.
So if someone asks where does Galactus scale too? The most appropiate respond would be "way beyond omega level." Even though Galactus is not top tier in a cosmic scale.

Beyond Omega Level: Imperiex Prime
I always assumed that Eternity was as more a station than an individual. That was at least what has been suggested every time he has been beaten by the likes of Thanos, as the person who beat him would then take on the role and likeness of Eternity.
But with that in mind, I then am lead to ask what happens to the personification of Eternity when he is replaced. Does he just go away? Or is he somewhere taking on a more mortal form? Was he a mortal like Thanos previously who wrestled that station away from the previous Eternity?
All of the stories suggest that is not the case, but the pattern of individuals being able to seize that role from him suggests there may be more to it than is shown.

Eternity reminds me of DC Vertigo's Sandman. It would be cool to see a team up between these two between DC and Marvel. A mini series of 4 or 5 issues of Eternity and Morpheus Sandman observing creations in each other's universe at the same time and discussing their observations. It would be cool if the author/author's of the hypothetical mini series used class philosophical theories and ideas from Voltaire, Arthur Schopenhauer, Hegel, Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, Plato, Aristotle, Kant, Descartes, Locke, Socrates, Kropotkin, Bakunin, Proudhon, Goldman, Adam Smith, etc. If written well the series could in fact teach critical thinking and do it in a way that would be more digestible to the reader rather than the read feel as if he/she were being lectured.

You should make a video on Magik. Captain Marvel 22 suggests she's beyond the omega level, referencing events in bendis's uncanny X-Men where she absorbs the entire dimension of limbo within herself. After beating Dormamuu briefly, he comes back and her solution to that problem is to absorb the whole freaking dimension, and get magic training from Dr. Strange. Plus in Doctor strange the end, she gives Eternity a bunch of SASS and it's great

Is there really any difference between eternity and the phoenix force.
Love to see a beyond omega level perpetua to see how she holds up to eternity. It sounds like dc is trying to set it up in order, like perpetua and other gods like her are below the source who is the presence. Like the source made them all and sent them out to make multiverses so the source is top of the dc omniverse. Like to hear your thoughts on it rob.
I still think dc still messed up their power leveling. For example there is the empty hand who is basically the comic book reader. That'll make him beyond the presence. Though the presence always considered as the God of dc

Morrison has stated The Empty Hand represents the reader, specifically their desire for series escalation. Which in DC, probably makes him the most powerful villain of all

Does anyone remember which Marvel story had the Skrull (I think) leader with a sword? I don't remember much else, aside from the leader being young, and green with pointy ears. I want to say it was a Jonathan Hickman story,but I'm not certain
