- A total of 39 railroad crossings on non-private roadways.
Towns include Somerville, Cambridge, Belmont, Waltham, Weston, Lincoln, Concord, Acton, Boxborough, Littleton, Ayer, and Shirley.
This video also features a rail washer train. These are used to remove fallen leaves that have been stuck to the rails. These leaves result in reduced friction and wheel slip problems. High pressurized water is used to spray them off the rails.

This video deserves way more attention for all of the effort put into it
I greatly appreciate that. A lot of time and money goes into what I make
Why is this so satisfying to watch??
41:03 that horn just sent chills down my spine lol
Love this! The old fashioned bells sound so much better than the new electronic ones.
Just saw this now! Wow!
🥳congrats on 400 subs🥳
I’ve been waiting for this video my whole life
I live to please
Oh yea and by the way Groton Harvard Road used to have a Fast WCH E-Bell, the e-bell can be heard in this link

Amazing videos! If only someone would do all LIRR and metro north lines in NYC...
Thanks! And maybe some day I can
Also are the Snake hill road Sandy Pond Road Groton Harvard road and walker road horn zones?
I didn't know Devens has a Railroad crossing
Apparently it's in Shirley, just on the edge of Devens. When going through all the locations, Google Maps told me it was Devens mistakenly.
The Census Bureau estimates the U.S. Population is 330.38 million as of October 2020.
Random but ok
I fear what may become of the commuter rail - especially these longer lines - if working from home becomes the new normal...they were hemorrhaging cash in 2020
Yeah we'll have to see what the future holds
52:32 Walker Road is in Shirley
It's on the edge of Devens, not sure why Google maps pin-pointed that as Devens even when their own town line shows it in Shirley
15:17 where is this one
Conant Road in Weston, just looking the other way
