i dont have option PS/2 in mice and other pointing device. What should i do ?

Are you serious bro? In my laptop doesn't seen the ps2 compliant mouse. There is only HID compliant mouse
So where i installed this driver? On HID Compliant Mouse or I2C HID Device???

Mano a DELL tinha que te dar uma grana, o único vídeo que realmente resolveu o problema, sou do brasil e muitos aqui estão com esse problema e não tem absolutamente nenhum outro vídeo que resolva.
@@eldopereira eu segui os passos exatamente como ele descreveu a única diferença foi que eu reiniciei e o que tinha desativado no gerenciador de dispositivos onde tava o problema depois do tutorial eu ativei de novo e funcionou.

synaptics has downloaded on my computer as a cab file and when i get to the install disk section, its unable to find the synaptics file? i assume it has something to do with it being a cab file. Any suggestions?
You need to extract it with any software eg 7zip winrar
Just disable and again enable the driver with yellow triangle, it'll get fxed.

I have Acer aspire v3-574G. When i turn Advanced Mode in BIOS the touchpad stops working and shows I2C HID Device error.

In bios touchpad should work fine it has no connection with touchpad drivers installed by windows
Try bios upgrade see if it fix your problem you can find latest bios driver on manufactur site.
Be careful while installing bios and make sure you are installing bios for exact same model

My mouse jumps all over the screen, and the touchpad is not working as well. There's the same exclamation mark on i2c HID device. Is the mouse issue happening because of that??
which window and laptop manufacturer? you can try uninstall device after that restart your laptop

Ok skip the initial steps directly go to mouse and other devices section follow video steps or first simply try to install synaptic if no success then try above mentioned steps and install it manually, download it from here
