It has to do with contracts. They do undesirable things to make whichever contract null and void that they've realised they agreed to way too young and not understanding the gravity of it. Easier to make brands drop you than it is to bow out respectfully on a contract. The contracts say things like no drinking, no smoking, dress like this etc so that's the easiest way out

Miley was on a children’s tv show but she has always been a singer and performer. Jojo’s personality is soooo off putting. Miley has always been just funny and charismatic and charming. I had NO idea about all this stuff with Jojo Siwa until I watched this video! I saw the "KISS inspired" outfit on Facebook and saw soooooo many grown adults trashing her and all I said was "she's 20, let her be, or just ignore it" and DAMN, so many people started coming for me, making fun of my appearance, say I'm disgusting, and even hope that I die... It was a lot, and really sucked... I didn't know all of this information so I feel bad for "defending her" but sheesh, people are too much..

I love how JoJo's defense against the grooming allegations towards Coleen Ballinger is that the woman (a stranger) befriend her at a young age and made her feel special and understood... Maam, that's literally grooming.
Especially when you see some of the clips of them together - JoJo is being asked inappropriate questions by Coleen and her adult sister, Coleen calls her a prostitute and in response JoJo starts pulling her shirt up provocatively, etc. Disturbing stuff.
Though I agree with the theory that famous/powerful groomers would have one famous victim they brainwash but don't go forward with any further abuse... Flashback, before deciding that Jojo would be a dancer full time, she did all-star cheerleading. Everyone adored her cuz she was so cute. But her mom got shunned for taking her to a different gym to tumble. My mom was one of the only people who would talk to her. Once Jojo started gaining fame, my mom started saying that this is exactly what Jess wanted. She wanted everyone to know who Jojo is.
Exactly. Jess has pushed her from the get go to be famous & has always encouraged her to be over the top to pull focus. When Jojo was first on Abby’s competition series, Jess was shown telling her to be up front & center all the time. It’s always been about Jojo & now she’s a narcissistic adult who literally has no self awareness in regards to her abilities (or lack thereof) because her mom always told her she was amazing at everything and a star. This is precisely why parents need to be truthful with their kids and not tell them the sun shines out of their butts, because they turn into self-absorbed adults otherwise who aren’t rooted in reality.

People criticise K-pop and the creation of Idols but trainees are all friendly and supportive of each other, they have school alongside their voice/dance/acting schedules and the system produces well-rounded performers who genuinely love what they do. The jojo juice game gave me flashbacks to a game my mom bought me when i was like 12 called girl talk that was literlly the exact same thing.
