I did not capture the full service like I thought I'd be able to, so I have typed written instructions
    1. Detox and cleanse hair thoroughly
    2. separate whatever hair you can around the cover up area.
    3. Pull apart the freeforms or any matted areas (if this applies) w, so you can section and plan for the rest of the wicks. When you pull apart the free forms you may have to cut into the loc little by little, and then pull the locs in opposite directions. This may be painful for the client so try to do this slowly if possible.
    4. After you planned all of your sections for the wicks, you can now start creating them.
    5. For the wick in the middle, I took a few donor locs from the areas surrounding with significantly more locs. On one of them I took 3 locs, and another one I took two. I cut the locs about 3 inches down to leave the regrowth long enough to still wick the rest of his hair.
    6. For the locs that were cut off to join to the one loc in the middle, I cut them then fluffed out an inch of hair at the end that will be reattached. That hair will be used to anchor onto the loose hair that was picked out, and connected to the loc that is remaining in that section.
    7. The rest of the locs/ sections are ready to be wicked, so you distress, then combine. You can either alternate like I did, or distress the whole section first, then go back and combine and refine the wick with your crochet hook.
