hi Ivo nice toy . i think LEM is a great product line, i have a 3/4 #12 valley sportsman, it was in line with my budget lol like you i a had a very old toastess #5 worked for 30 plus years , when it died i was just getting started had to drive into princes auto in medicine hat they had it on sale thanks for the video and i use a LEM all ss steal 5# stuffer. only tried once from grinder lol have a great day
Hi John, and thank you. LEM is a good line. I was running an old #12 which was perfect for my needs back then. But like everything, things wear down, and it was time to upgrade. Stainless steel stuffer are the way to go it's a lot quicker, doesn't heat up the meat and cause fat smearing . Hope your day goes well. Cheers
@@ivokitchen33 Nice guy. Do you still like it? I have #12 and just did 40 lbs. chicken wings with bones, 12 lbs. beef and 6 lbs gizzards to make dog food. I used dual grind witjh 1/2" end plate. I am thinking of getting #22 as i need more chug on the bones. But a a #32 is to heavy for this 73 year old to lift lol.
You have no clues what your doing. Why would you use a grinder to stuff sausage if you have a sausage stuffer. Dropping one little piece of meat in And then flipping the switch on and off many many times wears the switch out. And your grinder does ot require food grade lubrication.
Fun fact, you can make stew meat with the stuffing plate.

Did you lubricant the seal where the auger meets the part that spins it?
There's a few things I did miss and forget to mention, but yes a 3H oil lubricant food grade is what should be used.
Thank you for this video. Where do live? Canada?
You're welcome, and thank you for watching. I do live in Canada. Northern Ontario.

@cahoonm I would definitely recommend the #22. I do I like the unit. The biggest reason why I decided to get this unit is because of the attachments.
You should have dumped all the meat out of the bowl into the hopper.
