The elf who knew only nobility learned compassion through slavery. The Breton at his end learned that in dead, all things can be beautiful, even an elf. And a nord learned that with all his strength, in the end it was his mind that would win him the battle.
I like these cinematic because they don't have to speak a single word to show meaning, purpose and emotion. In the first one when tf y just starred at each other and all started rotating to match the teso logo I get chills

Why don't they just make a move with the style they use in the cinematic trailers? I would pay to see an elder scrolls movie.
Because it would require alot of time and money to do that. Much much much more money and time than a normal blockbuster movie.

I'm not going to argue with a incompetent guy who doesn't know how hard and time consuming making CGI trailers are. To make this into a 90-hour movie is not gonna happen for a while

But your forgetting that if this would be a movie they would have to make a big plot line, twist, different and uniqe characters and render them all. Just read up on some well known studios who does Cinematics like Blur ( the guys who did this cinematic ) and you will see that its a really hard task to make a movie in this quality.

I find this last trailer extremely beautiful! All the fighting is EPIC and gives me chills! But the scene with the breton dying, and the elven woman feeling his pain and then releasing him from it... it almost made me cry :P SO!! For the people who didn't really get it (and I didn't either at first), MY understanding of the death scene is this: The breton man sees a vision of his girlfriend/wife/lover in the blue dress, coming towards him as if she comes to take him home. He has a piece of that blue dress with him... We see the nord guy wipe off the blood on his axe with this piece, and the breton reaches up to the blue cloth as if "please don't take the last thing I care about..." That hit me in my heart :P RIGHT THERE! Back to the illusion... Which really is the elven woman giving him the blue cloth back... She sees that he is corrupted, and it only gets worse if she doesn't end it for him, and she tunes in on his thoughts... She feels that he wants to be released before he looses all memories to the corruption... So she does... And he silently smiles as his soul glides away, with the blue cloth in his hand.........

I agree... It's war... You gotta do what you gotta do! And it's kind of a race to get to Mannimarco first and claim the throne. It's interesting to see how they all have different methods in the midst of it all :)

Still they pay for these cinematics, don't get me wrong i love them and i believe it will be more succeful if they made a movie but still they could use the money for better game development.
Valantis Kefalas It's marketing budget, every game/movie has that, and it exists for a reason - to hype the game up and make people want to play it. Why do you thing the GTA 5 marketing did almost cost exactly the same as the game itself?
Something like this may cost 70.000$-100.000$ dollar (depending on the company) and it was made to promote the b2p start - it's money well spent to make more in the long run.

I think Nord Warrior didn't get killed. I think hes done with his job after facing with Mannimarco. As we can see the nord was very calm at the end of the video.

Почему бой выиграл Норд? ответ: из первых двух стрел который выпустил Бретон, в Норда попала лишь одна (вторая), когда первая попала в наплечник (часть брони) и от нее урона непоследовало!
2) Норд оказался более стойким и закаленным к ударам, а также еще и шустрее как видно он даже предугадал куда Брет будет махать в ноги!
3) От вонзившихся ударов от кинжала и меча, Норда спасла его выносливость и наверное скорее всего злость, так как при таких попаданиях по телу, у человека из 25% может резко подняться адреналин и в итоге это образует массивную ярость при которой данный опонент может даже и взаимно нанести такие же тяжкие удары как это видно в данном бою!
Что касаеться "откуда у Норда хватило еще сил побежать и даже в разбеге прыгнуть на Маннимарко" ну тут два варианта: либо тут сыграла та же ярость, или даже не знаю)) но видно что Норд не их мелких ящеров :D

Ну скорее норд физически сильнее и пользовался этим. Бретонец пусть и быстр, ловок, но андед. Норд под конец грамотно впечатал его голову в колонну

They say that there are no limitations for regular user (user who don't pay subscription), yet there are DLC-s that are only open for ESO plus players or for those who have bought DLC from crown shop (cash shop).
So? It is the same thing with Guild Wars. You buy the base game, no subscription, but you have pay for the DLC's which bring in new areas.
What is so big deal with that? You would have to pay for the DLC's anyway, as player in WoW...
You just cant ask them for to go free! Either this F2P/B2P method, or the subscrition. There is no other option...
JohnfuckingSnow I agree, that game has to make money someway, but the way they say about DLC, it feels like their DLC is more like new dungeon rather than whole new world to game like in WoW or GW2 (Hearth of Thorns- not confirmed yet but seems so). In FAQ they say "... with all previous updates and content additions" and scrolling down you see about DLC-s "... game packs with optional adventuring content (zones, quests, etc.)...". So were all these 5 major updates DLC-s?
JohnfuckingSnow so far you haven't had to pay for any of the new areas in guild wars 2, if you logged in during the time they were active. Granted, we don't know if that will change with whatever Heart of Thorns is.
Frejalise Heart of Thorns is upcoming GW2 DLC similar type of DLC like Warlords of Draenor in WoW. There trailer about it, but will be confirmed officially at PAX ( 24.jan. 2015 ) and you prolly need to buy this one to get into that content and it seems not all races are going to be friendly in this DLC.
I haven't seen any specific news about it, but that seems to be the speculation yes. I'd say it's fair to charge for something the size of Warlords of Draenor - something the size of an "Old school" mmo expansion. But my point still stands: so far any new content in the shape of new zones hasn't been charged for, if you've been online during the time it was initially active.
I haven't seen anything on this game since the BETA, how is it now?

+cavro12 The Nord I think is suppose to represent the Vestige in the main story. He knew he was going to die but that was the plan, to go to Coldharbour and defeat Molag Bal.
+cavro12 Its neither Sovngarde nor Coldharbour. Its the Soul Cairn If you notice Manimarcos' hands (Manimarco is the evil wizard), he is holding a black soul gem. Souls that get traped in a black soul gem are being sent to the daedric plane of Soul Cairn

That's all true, but that actually is Coldharbour, that's how the people are sent there. Mannimarco may have used a soul gem, but he sent him to Coldharbour, not the Soul Cairn.

never before have i looked forward to a game so much as this, to have not bought it. Two reasons for this, they seemed to only release half the game on day one. but mostly im primarily a console player =[ I cant wait for elderscrolls 6. Must admit i think ESO has had the best game trailers of any game ever though.

The Enclave The Nord was the tactile genius behind getting into Imperial City, and opening the walls. He was also a seeming commander of the Ebonhearts, and was a total badass
I’m tired of people saying that it’s bullshit the actual game looks nothing like this. Almost all game trailers have always used Cinematic style with in the last decade. To make these trailers alone cost them hella money and I think over 18 months to make if I remember correctly. To make a game look like this? That’s just not currently possible sure we have close to realism in some modern games but those are more liner straight forward games like cod. Not a big open game like elder scrolls.
I would however love to see a elder scrolls move in both cinematic and live action.

+KravexGaming The Breton was undead. He was killed/had his soul stolen by Mannimarco's minions earlier in the cinematic series and was being forced to serve. The only way to escape his fate was to die whilst Mannimarco's hold over him was diminished. The Altmer saw this, and helped him on his way to freedom in Aetherius.
