Rewatching, I’ve never noticed at 6:13 Harper says “oh my god, I just did that” must’ve been quite a euphoric experience.
I noticed it during the game!! So much so that I tried to get a 3 Jersey custom that said “I just did that” and they wouldn’t do it. 😂😂😂
Along with Ken Rosenthal in the background shaking his head as if to say “Oh my gosh, that just happened”

@@PopOutPaulieif you know ball, you’d know that’s a HOF at bat. Was beat by two fastballs away. Fouled two off. Spitting on the changeup was the key, though. That was Suarez’s best opportunity, and Harper had none of it.

Man... I get the chills watching this every time. Never gets old. Brings me back to the moment I was watching the game live, jumping up and down with excitement. He truly lives for the big moments.
I was strolling in a Target, trying to relax. The game was tense, and I was stressed that the Phillies gave up the lead. Then this happened.
I was at the home run derby game 3 of WS . Best experience of my life!
I'm gonna be honest I don't know if I've felt a deeper catharsis in my entire life than when I watched this live. One of the most suspenseful, white-knuckle moments I've ever had watching sports. He took those early cuts and everyone in the entire WORLD knew how much he wanted it. Nevertheless he battled back from behind and I can STILL remember the shot of adrenaline I got when he just SPITS on that 2-2 changeup just outside the zone. Second he hit the ball I blacked out
I was celebrating my anniversary at a quaint restaurant with no TVs when the notification popped up on my phone (Bryce Harper puts Phillies 3 outs away from World Series) ... I was cool on the outside but going crazy inside 😅
I was there.... section 106 on the pole...
The entire stadium erupted. You could feel the stands moving. You could feel the vibrations of the stadium. It was incredible.
All the way this year! Everyone healthy and settled in? Check. Bounce back years for pretty much everybody (Realmuto, Casty, Turner and even a little average bump for Schwarbs), and a health Rotation?
This is a 100 win team.

The color guy announcing basically called it. He said fast high and outside but be careful if you leave it low and over the plate Harper can go the other way with it. Exactly what happened. It almost happened on the first pitch.

Before he got hit in the hand from Blake Snell that’s how his at bats were. He had more doubles than singles. After he came back from the injury, he didn’t find his groove again until the playoffs. And find it he did.

It's funny, some childhood actor that called himself "Gibby" and was dropping racial slurs and acting a fool because he was apparently on iCarly told me during his rant that I liked a "mid" baseball team.
