I only played Kathy Rain recently and I really loved it. I hope there'll be a sequel. A lot of questions remained unanswered.
Great!
Sadly i couldn't find this video by seraching on youtube and just discovered this by accident.
And i was looking for an interview with Joel Staaf Hästö right after playing Kathy Rain but couldn't find any.
omg Kathy Rain is so so so so so good. Whispers of the Machine is also really really amazing!
Fascinating insight. I too class myself as an independent solo creator and think many game devs do too. I just want creative control over it all!
Great video! Thank you.
Really love your channel, your videos are of a high quality and you have a relaxing voice. Good luck on your game!
Thanks for this series of videos! I appreciate the fact you began the devlog from the very beginning. I'm a filmmaker who has had a dream to make his own PNC adventure for 30 years now. Finally began the actual process in March 2020 as well, I've now got a group of ~20 people onboard and we're nowhere as far as you, so we're taking it slow indeed. Of course most of those people are just waiting for the thing to progress to a state where they can begin their work. It's interesting. Unity+AC is our weapon of choice as well. I've only written out the "demo" section of the game so far, or the tutorial, if you will. I'm just beginning writing the main storyline but the coders are slowly working getting everything in place with Unity so that we can start putting things together. I think the demo approach is good because basically you get to do all of the UI, main character art and stuff like that... and all of that will be used in the final game since the demo will serve as the beginning of the game as well. And all of that work can begin WHILE I'm writing the main story. Since you're working solo it's a bit different but for a group of people this seems to be working well. Anyway, looking forward to your progress while working on mine. :)
Great interview! Balance is definitely the key. Totally agree. Looking forward to seeing your character walking about!
Merry Christmas! You’ve done a lot this year your content is great😄
nice episode, happy holidays and can't wait to see your unity video's as i am going through the same adventure myself learnin unity and creating an adventure game with adventure creator, good luck!
