I'm from Birmingham. This is the black country accent not the Brummie accent

This makes me so sad because I was in this exact position a year ago when I moved to Germany (North Rhine-Westphalia) for my year abroad too! Make the most of it because the time flies by! I loved living in Germany and miss it so much!

One of the most lovely and valuable things I did on my year abroad was a language exchange. Meeting for a coffee and doing half an hour in each language. Great way to meet people and improve your language skills at the same time. Would love to see a video of you doing this in Berlin!

I am over the moon that you got to be here, I know this pandemic has been awful but an opportunity like this gives you a fresh start. I live in Brum, I love our patch of the world but I would LOVE to have the guts to get up and move... I would just adore to finish my teaching degree and work in France for a couple of years etc etc! Our year abroad has been cancelled regardless of the pandemic improving so I will never get to do this but I still have hope for my future? Have a FABULOUS time!

Hi Eve! I've been looking into German cities, and I found this interesting town called Görlitz, it's supposedly Germany's most beautiful city, it's very historical too, so if you're ever looking for an adventure, I'd recommend Görlitz!

I went to berlin in october and its amazing to see a place on CZcams and think like niceee I've actually been there đp.s you should go to the Olympic stadium if you can and have a tour it's really good đ

I remember being so emotional when my daughter set off to do her elective (medicine) in Australia. Interestingly, I don't remember my parents being so upset when I went off for six months in France! They were probably able to conceal their emotions much better ... ;). Have a great time!
