Greetings John, Another spectacular video! I really like the design. A primary glider fitted with a high performance wing. It appears to store very little energy. The loop was almost comical, give me a grin anyways. This flying site has it's own unique beauty. The stone wall is great feature, I wonder how old that wall is. Between you building and piloting skills, and your lady's consistently brilliant camera work, it seems that you're incapable of posting a video of poor quality. Which one of you does the superb editing? The matching of the onscreen action to the music couldn't be better. As always, watching your video was a joyous, almost spiritual experience. A veritable work of art in every sense of the meaning. Cheers

That looks like the cliffs near Trevellas Airfield at Perrranporth Cornwall. If it is, about 38 years ago I flew there in a full size glider with the now defunct Cornish Gliding Club.
I’ve been flying RC gliders for 40 years but never flown any with no fuselage. Curious, how are the flight characteristics different in such a scenario? I have a 3D printer, so this fuselage design looks super easy to replicate and should provide better weight savings. Thanks! Great sound track and video as usual!
I used spruce for the main fuselage spars, so although it looks light it’s actually heavier than some of my equivalent sized builds. And then I added wire bracing to stiffen up the fuselage, which all adds to the drag of the fuselage. But it definitely looks different and was nice and simple to build. It would lend itself well to 3D printing.
Very nice glider. Are there plans avialable for this glider. I would like to build one myself. What is the name of this beautiful glider? I really like it alot!
Pilot has a scale control column...right? ( lowering the tone since 1989 ;-) ) Would love to see action man in a Schneider SF38 Eon or similar, tiny seat, foot pedals and nothing else.
look carefully at 2.29, almost a perfect lineup with a jet aircraft high above, closer and it could have looked like a vapour trail of the gliders wing
Now there is a good idea. I was originally going to sit Action Man under the wing, so I could test fly it without him there and save some weight without effecting the CG. I decided to move him forward so could easily sit another one under the wing.
This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful things in RC Gliding I think I have ever seen!!! Thanks John!
