I purchased my 2021 Honda HR-V EX AWD in March. After 6 months of ownership, I would trade the sunroof and AWD for a driver's powered seat with memory and a better stereo. 100 more HP with 100 more pound-feet of torque wouldn't hurt anything, other than maybe MPGs and long-term reliability, but all things considered, my HR-V is perfect for me.

I watched this educational video and learned how to use the settings a lot. One thing I am not sure is how to toggle between odometer to see the total mileage, trip A, and trip B using the long extended button (knob) for my Honda HRV 2019. Please tell me now. Thanks.
That's the same thing I"m looking for after the local dealer reset the display on mine when it went in for an oil change.
On our 2022 Honda CRV my husband is setting 1 and I am setting 2 for seat position. If our car is parked in the garage and I do not lock it when I get out, the next time I go to get in the car it is still on my setting 2. But if I park it in a parking lot and lock the car, when I return and unlock the car the seat setting defaults to 1 and I have to reset it to 2 for me. How do we program the car so that the seat setting does not change unless the driver changes it?

1)adjust the seat to your liking
2)on the driver door you have the two seat pre settings
3) select "set:
4) select the number that you want to save to.

Thanks for the info. My daughter just bought a 2022 Honda HR-V EX AWD. It has a lot of safety features, but we can’t find the blind spot indicator (BSI), that illuminates on the side mirrors when another vehicle is in the blind spot. Is this feature available on her car? Thank you.

Dash lights were turned brighter to read easier in daylight time by mechanic, how do I turn them back down so they won't be so bright when it's dark outside?
There's a stick on the driver's interface (right hand side) that you can turn, this should adjust the brightness. You may be able to see it in my video czcams.com/video/ern_A15eN_o/video.html

Just got my 2022 honda hrv ex. I love it
Mike Honda 2020 HRVEX used to lock when I walked away. All of the sudden it stop doing that. I have tried to reset it so many times and it doesn’t seem to take. It’s still locks with the button or the remote. I watched your video and it seems like I did everything I was supposed to. Once you pick your choice, you press the middle button to lock it in and then you can continue with arrows as far as I understand it, I did notice on the label that was there was some picture after making the choice of the right and left buttons together. Was I supposed to do that for some reason I’m not sure it had a colon before it. There’s actually no directions in the manual about what you actually have to do. I’m very frustrated. Could it be that there’s an actual problem with the electronics
In these situations, it's easier to help in person to see what you're sharing and experiencing. I would encourage contacting your salesperson or a local honda dealer to see if a sales consultant or service would mind trying to assist for a moment.
Well, that was my second thought. I’ve worked in the computer field for decades if the directions were clear and specific, I should be able to follow them, unless there’s some kind of failing chip problem interfering.
I appreciate your videos, because the manual lacks specifics and tells you what to do, but often forgets to mention how to do it and each version of her on this seems to have variations on their electronics.

Does the Honda hrv 2022 have auto start? Or we would have to install it? How much is it?

Can't figure out radio station presets (SiriusXM), delete or add. What about if you can stop the beeping if the drivers side door is open with the keyless accessory mode on? THANKS!
I haven't found a way to delete presets but you may save over them. Once you found a station you like just touch and hold the preset number you like to save it to for a moment, this works for the FM AM and Sirius XM radio. There's not a way to turn off the beeping to your second question. Thank you for your support and watching.

Is the 2022 HRV EX suppose to come with remote start? I've seen on Honda's website that it does but not sure with a key fob or Hondalink.
The Honda HRVs don't come with remote start but you may add an aftermarket one. So many options for remote start. Thank you for watching

After you have made the adjustments you want, HOW do you get back to the setting where you see your mileage and MPG, ie, the display with Trip A and Trip B?
Select the home or back buttons.

Yes you can. Just have to put the vehicle in accessory mode by selecting the start button one or twice without having your foot on the brake pedal.
selecting the button a third time will turn it off.

Hi again Chris. I'm in NZ. I don't suppose our models are any different but at times I've accidentally turned the motor off with the car in gear or neutral (you can still put in in Park after) but in this mode, the radio doesn't switch off. So it appears I don't have to be in accessory mode to have the radio on. Does this sound right to you?

Some models give you the choice to mute with a click while most dont. I don't have them all memorized
Hrv’s suck no CD players tryouts to hookup MP3 player idk 🤷♂️. Anybody know if this is even possible. Plus the intermittent wipers have only one speed wtf . I got it before I saw it a 2022 sport when the chips were scarce had I known I would have bought another Subaru
