I love it all. Being a gardener though...I watched in awe as you made each area. Love your ideas and that walkway is wonderful!! You taught me something today and I'm well into my seventh decade! You taught me to make my meals beautiful and serve them to myself as if I was company. I'm a recent widow and I will eat something standing at the sink or at the computer or looking out a window. Trying to adjust to being one. It almost made me cry at how beautifully you present your wonderful meals to yourself. Lovely. Thank you for that. 💜

Just stumbled across your channel and I love it. I live in a small town in Texas and I live in a house that my great grandfather helped my grandfather build for his bride to be, my grandmother, in 1924. It's almost a century old and my husband and I have done alot of work to the house and the place we and our 4 cats enjoy it alot. We always have a vegetable garden and lots of flowers and plants too. Thanks for your videos.

I just found your channel. Your home is so lovely. It reminds me of paintings by the 19th century Swedish artist Carl Larson. Your home looks very old Scandinavian. He is my favorite artist and I had a number of his works in my home. My grandparents all came from Sweden. You have lovely china and beautiful things in their home and you display them so well. Johanna, there is something so calming and soothing about you. I love watching you doing what you so plainly love and seeing your fairytale cottage transforming into your dream. I am in awe of - and inspired by - your practical skills. If I could turn the clock back 20 years, I would love to have done the same. My own situation is completely different. I am sitting typing this in a very grand house in the UK, surrounded by mod-cons and valuable antiques and sometimes wonder how I got here. Your cottage calls to my heart and resonates with my being far more than all of this. I know I could be just as happy, probably happier, in a pretty little cottage like yours. I like how the doors and windows are trimmed. They look like gifts. Also, when you make shelves, a deeper groove on the back of the shelf or a small piece of wood attached will make a nice plate rail.
I look at you and would have done so many things, you showed us we can do whatever we want, I had my 4 boys and didn't have the tools you have, amazing..I had a little farm , I started with one goat and ended up with 6 plus ducks and geese and more..now I don't live at the same place and cannot have animals...while you are young and have no family, children from what I see..now is the time to enjoy...thank you!
Great job on decorating, you should make a DIY head board for your bed! You can do it rustic to match everything else or make a padded headboard to lean back on! Just an idea.

You must have been collecting all your antiques and vintage pieces for a very long time. I love all the items you selected for your shelves and inside your display cases but it’s a tedious and redundant job to dust all around those lovely nick knacks. I like how the doors and windows are trimmed. They look like gifts. Also, when you make shelves, a deeper groove on the back of the shelf or a small piece of wood attached will make a nice plate rail.

I look at you and would have done so many things, you showed us we can do whatever we want, I had my 4 boys and didn't have the tools you have, amazing..I had a little farm , I started with one goat and ended up with 6 plus ducks and geese and more..now I don't live at the same place and cannot have animals...while you are young and have no family, children from what I see..now is the time to enjoy...thank you!
