    Just one idea regarding the milk: I swapped to sugar free almond milk.
    It has only 22kcal per 100ml, 2g fat, 0,5g carbs and 1g protein. Regular Milk has 3 times of that. (But it depends on the brand, I found one that has a bit less fat and it has only 15kcal)
    It just adds that creamy texture to my coffee and I am really happy with that change.

    I've been eating between 850 and 1100 calories with 120-130 grams of protein for the past 5 weeks. Easiest cut I've ever done, and I believe it is due to the foods I happened to choose. Absolutely no hunger or cravings between meals, and no desire to binge on candy which has always been a problem for me.

    • @TheOtherMeLexy
      @TheOtherMeLexy Před měsícem

      Please which foods did you choose?

    • @merrieleiderman1885

      @@TheOtherMeLexy 40 grams of whey protein during my early morning weight training, eggs, cottage cheese, and tomatoes for breakfast, greek yogurt string cheese, and a large peach for lunch, and a lean protein and large plate of broccoli or mixed frozen vegetables for dinner. It probably helps that I go to bed at 7pm, so I don't have to fight late night cravings either.

      @@merrieleiderman1885 Hi, I am happy to hear this has been easy for you, that's great! And keeping protein high is good! May I ask why so low in calories? 850 is very low.😊

      @@Corrans I ate these exact foods for two weeks before I even tracked the macros. I was losing weight and inches pretty quickly so I tracked out of curiosity and was surprised to see how low the total calories are, especially with how effortless the diet has been. I only have 15 lbs to lose to get back to my healthy bodyweight so I won't have to stay in this deficit for long, and if I start to feel hungry, I will eat more. Also, my maintenance calories are only 1750, even as a powerlifter training 6 days a week.

    Is true that nuts have more fat than protein, they are a treat and is better to mesure before start eating

    Have you considered a Cottage Cheese approach?
    Simple, no cooking, no fuss, apart from peeling back the silver foil
    ****
    Each pot here is 300 grams and that equates to
    Kcal 216 / protein: 33 grams / carbs: 11 grams / fat: 3 grams
    If you eat 5 pots ( not all in one go 😂) it would give you...
    Kcals 1080 / protein 165 grams / carbs 55 / fat 15 grams fat.
    or
    High protein Greek yogurt.
    Here it comes in a 500g pot and has similar nutritional profile.
    Fibre may be of concern, so adding chia seeds, ( always better if they are pre soaked ) and ground up linseeds with some cocoa powder will help on that score.
    For a sweeter taste, consider adding some, Stevia, monk fruit, allulose, or insulin, the last one being very high in fibre.
    Inulin has 80 grams of fibre per 100 grams.
    😍

      @felipearbustopotd Yes I have definitely eaten cottage cheese with sweetener and tried it all sorts of ways. It's versatile for sure. Not sure I'd eat it all day though.🤭

    hello louise, i love your videos are always well informative, i have a question to ask you. i'm trying to lose fat and shred: i have high carb low fat diet but i can't manage anymore 30 gr of fat per day. i'd love to increase it a bit but my PT said that i'd never lose body fat if i eat more fat, i don't really believe him since the most important thing is to be on a cal deficit. i noticed you consume higher fat so i would love to hear your opinion on this.

    • @Corrans
      @Corrans  Před měsícem +1

      @awi1801 My humble opinion on this is that you need to work out YOUR caloric need for weight-loss, then get in 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight a day, and then fats and carbs can be however you feel good on. But I will say, personally, I wouldn't go super high with fats either (I've tried Keto and everything in between). I would stick to 30g-60g of fat a day, but you could definitely go over 30g!
