- Video Recorded on August 31, 2023: Ohhh YES!!!!! Everyone’s FAVORITE famous low-pitched chime on an Schindler HT elevator! After waiting a long while, I FINALLY got a chance to film this elevator, and they STILL have the low-pitched chime!!!! Definitely time for an updated take on a bit of details. Please Note: You can’t go into schools just to explore and ride the elevator. You must sign in and get a visitors sticker to get access inside the building. As said, I was here for a special event which welcomed former students, faculty Siri, and other alumni members inside, so this was my only good chance to revisit this elevator (ESCO is sadly modded). But anyways, this elevator runs the same exact way like how I remember. Normally, a low pitched chime with mainly he sounded about half a second short, but this one sounded like four or five seconds longer which is even more rarer, and this is likely the only Schindler HT elevator left with its remaining low-pitched chime from the early 2000s as most of them have already been replaced with the regular high-pitched chimes now. So I figured I get as much detailed sound samples of that rare chime as much as I could while filming this video for everyone to enjoy! I will post the modernized ESCO elevator at another time. Installed in 2003.

you cant beat the feeling of revisiting a sentimental lift for the first time in years and seeing it just how you remember it, such a great feeling. and you've got it doubly as good here with the rarity of the low pitch chime and the fact its a long low pitch which is very cool to see
I love your reaction when the elevator first chimed when the door opened. Lol
This is a nice elevator, these things run nicely, nice motor too
wow its still running strong after 20 years!
Wow I love the low pitch
Lol I walk past this elevator every day, I even go the classroom in front of this elevator every day, and I didn't expect there to be a video of it. As students we were not told about this event for former students lol.
Theres a medical office building in my area with a Low pitched HT VR
More elevator videos to come
And a longer call chime than most low pitched Schindler HTs, which makes it even rarer!
This reminds me of the one at Ashley High School in Wilmington NC. It was Installed in 2001 but it has high pitch chime but however I got Busted by a Karen and my friends. I was going there for preparing high school but I was moved to Hoggard High School Now.
What happened there?
After I was watching the door close. A Karen came up to us says not to play with this elevator but we didn't we were just riding. She was not rude, she was just asking us.
Also it was not a principal or teacher.
My school also has a los pitched 330A but it has the short version chimes. sadly it’s in pretty bad shape as it bangs so hard it nearly knocked me off balance when I was filming when it starts moving and shakes violently while leveling at the second floor
There’s an elevator at Dillard’s at countryside mall in Clearwater to that has the low pitched chime
Wow the up and down chimes are long normally they are quick
I have a video of a Schindler 330A with the low chimes doing the exact thing like this elevator. It's at Philander Smith College
I wish I could ride the elevator at my high school
Same. There are total of 5 elevators at my school. 4 are locked but one of them surprisingly doesn’t need a key.
@@EWH2024 oh wow
Hi JimLiElevators, why is it a problem when the elevator doesn’t level correctly?
Probably the valves needed to be adjusted, but I think it’s time for you to please refrain from constantly asking more questions as they are irrelevant to the video.
Who said hi to you
Who modded the other elevator and what buttons does it have?
I'm not sure.
ThyssenKrupp with MAD BS/Halo VR fixtures. I clearly said in the video.
@@JimLiElevators I watched thru the entire video just now and you didn't mention that part, all u said mainly is that it got modded but not who did it. But who cares tbh, TKE is rather good for mods
Why are the chimes so long?
That's not normal.
Sometimes they use the long sounded low-pitched chimes, but not common though.
